Description of prior art
It is well known that various places in the construction industry and probably especially in connection with roof structures are used roofing of different kinds. For example, coverings are known between a roof surface and a wall or chimney and between two adjacent roof surfaces. Such a cover is often referred to as "a scooter". In the following, the term '' scooter '' will be used for a roofing which may be between two roof surfaces, but also for a roofing between a roof surface and a wall or the like, where the purpose of both one and the other type of roofing is to prevent water from penetrating the underlying structure.
In connection with the higher requirements for insulation and tightness of building structures, there are also greater requirements for how the different roofs between different building parts, for example in the roof construction, are made. Certain types of roofing are fitted with a so-called roof, the purpose of which is to prevent possible penetration of the rain or the fires that may enter during the roofing itself. in the roof structure and / or insulation material. Over the last several years, a number of different roofing products and construction solutions have been used. In particular, the use of railway goods, that is to say materials that are available on rallets of an appropriate width, has gained entry into the European market. As a rule, mounting of these track products takes place longitudinally of the roof rafters, where the ceiling is fixed to the roof rafters with a clamping strip which is also mounted longitudinally of the rafters. On top of these clamping strips are the transverse roof laths and finally the roof covering itself, which is fixed to the laths in different ways.
To ensure that any water on the roof and water on the roof surface itself is directed to the roof foot in a suitable way, there are several different ways of establishing a scooter, but one particular method is often used and this method is recommended by different bodies. The method in question is called "a recessed scooter" and is a solution where a fixed plate-shaped scooter bottom is placed on a level with the upper side of the rafters in the longitudinal direction of the shutter trend. This is typically accomplished by a cut in the rafters or by adjusting the scraping floor between the rafters. Both of these methods are somewhat demanding, but have the distinct advantage of allowing the undercarriage to be led directly into the bulkhead gutter, without any level difference, where an adhesive joint between the undercarriage and the shutter / inlay assembly is made.
Another embodiment is that of a more traditional solution that has been used for many years and this solution is apparently still preferred by many of the artisans who have to do the job. This solution, as the first, also consists of a solid substrate of either plywood or a wide board. The difference, however, is that the solid support is mounted on top of the rafters in the longitudinal direction of the shoe trend. Along the outside edge of this board, a lamppost is typically mounted, and is sometimes brought into this structure and fixed along the lamppost with id emlister.
On top of the solid substrate in both types of scaffolding constructions is mounted partly a web of roofing, roofing or the like and then the actual covering profile.
The part of a scooter that is extremely and thus in contact with the weather, namely the '' scooter look ', is typically made of aluminum or zinc, or some other suitable material. The known types of 'scraping tin' are typically made in pieces of one meter length, which is why there will of course always be a number of joints across a scooter with the associated risk of water ingress. Therefore, underneath this outer part, the scooter gaze, a continuous web, from the roof foot to the chewing, is usually placed of the same material as the roof or of a bitumen-based roofing material as also mentioned above. The reason for using this layer is to ensure that if water should penetrate under the outermost part of the shutter, it can be discharged on top of this underlying layer.
Regardless of which of the known solutions are used, it is the case that the bulkhead is made up of several layers / parts and that the outermost part of the bulkhead is assembled longitudinally and fixed with nails or screws to the solid support. These nails or screws cannot be mounted without breaking the underlying web, thus increasing the risk of unwanted water entering the roof structure itself. If water enters the roof structure, water damage can occur and in the long run the woodwork will rot, but what is more serious is the risk of mold forming, which has a direct health-damaging effect on those using the building.
The purpose of the invention
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the invention to provide a scooter and a method for establishing a scooter, which provides a quick and easy assembly and at the same time provides a safe construction with a very limited risk of accidental water ingress into the structure. At the same time, the purpose is to specify a solution where no joints are to be made in the longitudinal direction of the shoe trend.
Description of the Invention
The invention relates, as mentioned initially, to a method of establishing a shutter gutter wherein the shutter gutter is of the type used to divert water from roofs and gutters on roof structures, typically between two roof surfaces, the shutter gutter comprising at least one side and is constructed with a plate-shaped solid substrate and that on said fixed plate-shaped substrate a first layer of a continuous waterproof web material having a first width and a first length is arranged.
The new feature of a scooter according to the invention is that the method comprises at least the following steps: that a second layer, namely a wear layer, for example a metal layer, is arranged on top of said first layer, and wherein the second layer is substantially the same length as said first layer; that both the first and second layers are laid out from a rolled-up state and along said solid plate-shaped substrate.
Thus, with a method according to the invention, a scooter can be constructed with a traditional solid plate-shaped substrate and the other layers, namely a longitudinal waterproof layer and a wear layer, possibly of metal, can subsequently be rolled out and fixed on the solid substrate. In this way, the clear advantage is obtained that the shoe trend can be established in long lengths in most cases in one long length without transverse joints, as has been known so far. Advantageously, the first layer may be a bitumen based cardboard known from the roofing industry and the wear layer may advantageously be made of aluminum or other suitable metal alloy.
In a variant of a method for establishing a scooter according to the invention, the method may comprise; that the first layer and the second layer are laid out at one and the same time from a rolled-up state, the respective layers being joined prior to laying.
By joining the first and second layers prior to mounting on the solid substrate, this operation can be carried out under orderly and controllable conditions in suitable production premises. The said web materials, ie both the first and second layers, can thus be joined together from, for example, each roll and subsequently rolled into metered standard lengths or lengths with special dimensions. When the web materials are joined together and wound up, they can advantageously be packed in a suitable package, for example in a cardboard tube with a carrying handle. Thus, a building craftsman can carry a rolled-up scooter up to a roof ridge, and either unpack and roll out the individual or joined layers down the solid plate-shaped support. After this, it is only necessary to fix the laid webs of material to the substrate. The shoe trend is thus established in an unprecedentedly fast, simple and not least in a much better way, since there are no joints across the wear layer, as there have been so far. These transverse joints are due to the wear layer being made of sheet metal, with a relatively short length of one or two meters. According to the invention, the wear layer can be made of, for example, aluminum of a suitable thickness, which is readily rollable with a suitable diameter.
In a variant of a method for establishing a scooter according to the invention, the method may comprise; said roof structure being joined together with said first layer on protruding flanges, said flanges being formed in that the first layer is wider than the second layer, and thus extends longitudinally of the shutter edge.
Said protruding flanges may be of any width, but if they have a width of, for example, 15 centimeters, then a good and safe joint is obtained between the lower roof and the first layer of the shutter. When the shutter gutter, or more precisely, the part of the shutter gutter that is rolled out of the first layer of flanges and with the second layer is rolled out, it is simply to fix this and to join the undercarriage with said flanges and then to mount the other parts in the roof structure. .
In a method of establishing a bulkhead according to the invention, it is preferred that fixation of the first layer to the fixed plate-shaped support is carried out by mechanical fixation, for example with nails or staples, in protruding flanges longitudinally of the bulkhead.
By doing the fixing in these flanges, it is ensured that the shoe trough is fixed, but also that the fixing is done in a material that can follow the movements of the structure due to temperature and due to wind effects and more. At the same time, the fixings themselves are covered by the roof when placed over the flanges. This minimizes the risk of penetrating water.
In a method of establishing a scooter according to the invention, it is preferred that the underlay be fixed to the part of the first layer on the side of the scoop trending away from the solid planar substrate, and wherein the first layer is wider than the second layer and is self-adhesive.
By fixing the undercarriage directly to the shoe trend by using the self-adhesive of the shoe trend, a lot of time and work is done in assembling the shoe trend, as the craftsmen do not have to remember a lot of additional materials such as tape, paper stitching or the like, like tools such as hammer, razor , scissors or equivalent are unnecessary for attaching the ceiling.
As mentioned initially, the invention also relates to a shutter for carrying out a method as described above, wherein the shutter gutter is of the type used to divert water from roofs and roofs to roof structures, typically between two roof surfaces, where the shutter gutter is at least one side thereof. the smallest comprises and is constructed with a plate-shaped solid support and a first layer of a continuous waterproof web material having a first width and a first length, wherein the shoe trend further comprises at least a second layer of a second width and a second length, wherein the two layers have a longitudinal extension substantially coincident with the width of the first layer being greater than the width of the second layer, and wherein the second layer is also a waterproof web material.
The new feature of a shovel according to the invention is that the shovel gutter further comprises that the second layer further constitutes a wear layer of metal and / or plastic, the first layer of the side facing the solid planar substrate comprising an adhesive, and wherein the portion of the first layer of the side facing away from the solid planar substrate, which is wider than the second layer, is self-adhesive.
Thus, the two layers follow each other, as there are no joints across the shoe trough and thus no risk of water entering. For the portion of the first layer of the side facing away from the solid planar substrate which is wider than the second layer and which is self-adhesive can be fixedly fixed, and a bird grating can also be mounted on this self-adhesive flange.
By means of grout, for example, is meant a rollable list on which one or more rows or staggered needles are spaced, long enough to reach from the mounting site on the bulkhead and up to the bottom of the roof, which may be made of bricks. concrete brick, steel roof, etmittag or any other type of roofing.
In some types of roofing, a scooter according to the invention can be used with grout without also using roofing.
A scooter according to the invention can advantageously comprise the first layer being joined to the second layer, for example via bonding, and where the first and second layers prior to assembly are delivered together and coiled and for a given length. This provides the opportunity to install a one-piece scooter in a fast and efficient manner. If the first layer is a bitumen-based material, this may advantageously be applied to one adhesive on one side prior to joining with the napkin itself, namely the second layer, which is covered with a protective foil. In connection with joining the first and second layers, this protective film and the second layer are removed quite simply on the first layer and shortened to a suitable length. However, it is also possible to apply an appropriate adhesive to either or both of the two topical layers prior to joining. The function of the scooter increases the way it works does not depend on the joint between the two layers, provided that the joint is carried out in an appropriate manner.
An auger according to the invention may advantageously be designed such that the first layer is joined to the second layer, for example via bonding, and wherein the first layer has a width greater than the width of the second layer, the first layer thus being forming a protruding flange longitudinally and at least one side relative to the second layer. Such a flange may be covered with protective foil and thus be self-adhesive, thereby making it easy to fix the underwear to the flange / shutter. Such a protective foil may be removed immediately prior to fixing the undercarriage to the flange.
A scooter according to the invention may also comprise that the first layer, on the side facing the solid planar substrate, comprises an adhesive. In the meantime, the shoe trot is easily and precisely fixed to the flat surface of the locking structure itself. This adhesive may be an adhesive similar to the adhesive mentioned above and which is between the first and second layers, but it may also be a different type of adhesive. Furthermore, it may be an adhesive covered by a protective film as also mentioned above. However, it is also possible to apply the lid on the flat surface itself prior to mounting the bucket on it.
In order for a scooter according to the invention to be even easier to mount, the scooter can be designed so that the second layer on the side facing away from both the solid planar substrate and the first layer comprises a bending line in the form of an embossing or some other form of instruction for said bending line. By carrying out such embossing or instruction longitudinally of the scooter look, it will act as a bending line, and when the scoop is rolled out, the instruction will ensure that the scoop gutter is formed after the planar solid support as soon as it is rolled out. In fact, if the first and second layers are joined together and a longitudinal or imprinting of the second layer is made, these layers automatically form with respect to the solid planar substrate as soon as they are rolled out . Such an instruction can in principle be a modest scratch done with a pointed object.
Production of a scooter according to the invention can advantageously be effected from a roll with the first layer and a roll with the second layer, where these layers are joined together and subsequently rolled up as a finished and shortened scooter. During or in conjunction with joining a first layer and a second layer, both of which may advantageously be on each roll prior to joining, such instruction or embossing may be readily accomplished with a suitable tool during roll-out, between roll-out and roll-up, or Immediately 1 connection with the reel of the shutter. In the event that the second layer - the shoe-trending look - is made of aluminum with a thickness of, for example, 0.5 and 1 millimeter, typically 0.6 millimeter, such marking / instructions need only be quite modest, but the intended effect as described above could occur.
A scooter according to the invention may also advantageously have the bend line to comprise at least one upright bend on the side of the second layer facing away from both the solid planar substrate and the first layer. As mentioned before, the advantage of the embossing is that the scraping trough is formed on the flat solid substrate as soon as it is rolled out.
A scooter according to the invention may advantageously be a so-called double-sided scooter. Thus, a scooter arranged / constructed for use between two adjacent angled roof surfaces. It can be, for example, on a roof of an angular house or between a roof surface of the house itself and on a twig.
A scooter according to the invention can further benefit from the fact that the second layer further comprises roof footprints. The purpose of this is to mount this area of the bucket gutter where the bucket gutter breaks up against the gutter at the eaves, whereby for this transition between the bucket gutter and the eaves can be obtained the same advantages as the bucket gutter in its other area of application, namely a quick and easy installation, and where at the same time a safe construction is obtained with a very limited risk of unintentional penetration of water into the structure. At the same time, the purpose is to specify a solution where no joints are to be made in the longitudinal direction of the shoe trend and thus also not for the part of the shoe trend that includes the roof foot.
Advantageously, a scooter according to the invention may have the eaves to extend in the direction from the bend line of the second layer and towards the second layer at least one side edge. The embossing can advantageously be straight lines, which will be an obvious opportunity for traditional construction, but should other conditions speak for it, the embossing can also take a different form.
In addition, a scooter according to the invention may advantageously have roof footprints with a spacing greater than the second layer at least one side edge than the spacing between the second layer's bending line. Since a shovel is usually mounted such that the cross-section of the shovel gutter assumes a V-shape, and since the transition from the shovel gutter to the roof foot causes a crack in the direction of the pointed end of the V-shape, then the part of the material of the shoe gutter which is furthest from the V-shape tip, should be turned off most. With such roof footprints, the material can be more easily pressed / cut and thus find "in place" 5 without the use of multiple parts and joints in the material.
The invention relates in principle to a scooter in meter dimensions, which can be mounted in one workflow and full length. The liner can comprise a support layer - a first layer, typically a layer of bitumen board and a further top layer - a second layer of metal, for example aluminum. The bulkhead can be delivered rolled and is typically rolled from the roof ridge and down along the prepared surface of the rafter structure, but can also be mounted from the roof base and rolled upwards on the flat, firm ground - depending on the respective conditions in connection with the current shutter. For example, the bucket trend is fixed by seaming the long edge, where there is only bitumen board, since the wear layer / aluminum layer does not extend all the way to the edge. Likewise, this edge may be made of adhesive so that the bottom can be fixed directly to the edge of the shoe trend. At the ends of the shoe gutter, there may also be a given length of bitumen cardboard / carrier layer which can be mounted over the roof ridge and / or down to the gutter to ensure perfect tightness. For example, such an overlap of the first layer may be 30 to 80 centimeters, but it can of course be adjusted as needed or even ordered to exactly the desired dimensions.
A complete scooter according to the invention typically weighs under 20 kg and can thus be handled without the hassle of advanced lifting tools and above all it is without joints and thus without the risk of leaks. It is also faster to assemble than the usual ones that are made up of several parts in the longitudinal direction.
