The latter are each arranged at the deflecting ends of the conveyor belt 4, with support rollers being possible between them. The above-mentioned object, the crop, for example, hay or emd to keep reliable on the conveyor belt 4 and to convey to the desired location, according to the invention accomplished by the crop is sucked onto the conveyor belt 4 and held there. For this purpose, at least one suction device is present. In the illustrated embodiment, this suction device has at least one suction fan 7, wherein as an example five suction fan 7 are shown. The latter could be designed in the form of a suction funnel to act on a larger portion of the conveying plane 8. Depending on the technical equipment of the agricultural vehicle on which the band rake is used, it would also be possible to use a compressed air device which is available at most. This could operate as a vacuum source serving suction. In the area below the conveying plane 8, in order to improve the suppression, at least one vacuum chamber can be formed. For this purpose, in this area corresponding, arranged in the strip running direction side walls and possibly also to provide transverse walls. Also conceivable are combinations of the aforementioned technical devices. The conveyor belt 4 is formed permeable to air at least in a middle band region of its conveying plane 8. That is, there are any openings in the conveying plane 8, which allow an air flow through which a crop can be sucked onto this conveying plane 8. In order to allow air flow through the conveying plane 8 through, holes or slots in the conveyor belt 4 may be present. Thanks to this construction, the crop, which is thrown by the relatively rapidly rotating tines 3 of the receiving device 1 in the direction of the conveyor belt 4, attracted by the delivery level 8 and held there. The crop, for example, light, dried hay or Emd, is thereby reliably transported from the conveyor belt 4 to where you want it. This can be, depending on the direction of the conveyor belt 4, either in the direction of travel left or right of the band raker. Alternatively, the collected crop could be fed by the present agricultural equipment directly to a loader wagon or the like.
