Description: The invention relates to a frame construction for a window or a door.
In construction windows and doors are known from time immemorial.
The windows in use today generally include a frame in which a glazing is enclosed. In order to enable the ventilation of the corresponding building space, such windows usually comprise at least one window sash, which contains a sash and the glazing enclosed therein, and a built-in masonry of the building window frame, with which the sash is pivotally connected. The glazing is usually a heat and sound insulating, double or triple glass pane is used, which is held by a glazing bead cover of the casement form-fitting.
In addition to the windows described are (glass) doors with a corresponding door frame and door well known and used in building standard.
Wing frame and window frame can be made in principle of wood. However, since the outside of windows or doors is exposed to the weather, there is a relatively high maintenance requirements for such structures, because unprotected wood weathered. Usually exposed to the weather wood parts are therefore protected with a coat of paint, which is cumbersome and time-consuming, because the paint must be renewed regularly, depending on exposure every 2 to 3 years. For this reason, the exposed parts are often made of aluminum or plastic.
In this regard, a window or door construction is proposed approximately in DE 20 211 702 U1, which includes a wooden frame, which is provided on the outside with a shell of pressed rigid polyurethane foam recycling material. Reference is further made to DE 20 200 472 U1, which relates to a frame construction for windows and doors, which has a frame which is provided on the outside with cover profiles of a polymer-bound solid surface material, in particular a mineral material based on aluminum hydroxide.
Despite these alternatives in terms of the material of the outer parts but in many cases, for reasons of design wood is nonetheless preferred or comes at all only as the only possible material in question. This is e.g. there the case, where for reasons of monument protection a metal or plastic construction is rejected.
However, in the current wooden window constructions of the high maintenance described above is additionally increased by the fact that when replacing an insulating glazing (due to a cloudiness or damage to the glass) often the entire sash must be made new.
In view of the prior art drawbacks of conventional wooden window constructions, the object of the present invention is to provide a frame structure for a window or a door which, even if the frame on its outside Wood is made, is completely maintenance free. In particular, the frame construction should also ensure easy replacement of the glazing used in the frame.
The invention is solved by the frame construction according to claim 1. Preferred embodiments are given in the dependent claims.
According to claim 1, the inventive frame construction comprises a frame which is intended to enclose a glazing of the window or the door. The frame comprises a casement base body having an inner side intended to face the building interior and an outer side opposite the inner side. As a rule, the sash frame base body is at least partially made of wood, and in principle all types of wood common to window or door construction come into question.
The frame also includes a frame panel, which is arranged on the outside of the casement base body and releasably connected thereto. According to the invention, the frame panel consists at least partially of acetylated wood, at least on its side facing away from the casement base body.
It has surprisingly been found that windows or doors can be obtained by the inventive use of acetylated wood, which hardly show weathering even with a very long period of use. In particular, the window is almost completely resistant to fungus infestation, has a reduced water absorption capacity and does not distort. In addition to the thermally modified woods, the acetylated wood used according to the invention also has no loss of strength; rather, the strength over the base wood is still increased by the acetylation. Also, the acetylated wood has no reduced gluing and paintability, as is often the case with thermally modified woods.
Thus, wooden windows or wooden doors can be provided, which are extremely low maintenance or even completely maintenance-free, without having to be compromised in terms of artistic freedom and the achievable optical result. In particular, so-called. Wood / wood windows or wood / wood doors can be obtained with the said advantages. As wood / wood windows or wood / wood doors while windows or doors are referred to, in which both the inside components and the outside components made of wood.
According to the invention, "acetylated wood" means any wood which has been chemically modified with acetic anhydride. The methods for this are known to the person skilled in the art. As an example of an acetylated wood preferred for the purposes of the invention, mention may be made of Accoya®. Also contemplated or preferred for the purposes of the present invention is Tricoya MDF made from Accoya® wood.
Although it is sufficient to achieve the inventive purpose that the frame panel on its side facing away from the sash frame base body made of acetylated wood, preferably the entire frame panel is made of acetylated wood.
The frame is formed according to a particularly preferred embodiment of the present invention in the form of a sash, which is pivotally connected to a window frame or door frame of the frame structure. It is preferred that the frame construction has a window frame panel or a door frame panel which is connected to the window frame or door frame. Thus, the window frame or door frame is formed on its outside at least partially made of acetylated wood. Typically, the area of the window frame or door frame which is covered by the window frame cover or door frame panel is at least that part which is not embedded in the masonry.
Thus, in this embodiment, all weathered components consist of a weather-resistant material.
In general, the frame panel of the inventive frame construction is rectangular in plan view and has four sides of the rectangle corresponding trim strips. In this case, all of these trim strips are preferably made of acetylated wood.
Further, in this embodiment, it is preferred that at least a part of the cover strips comprises an inner part connected to the sash frame base body via a connecting means, in particular via a screw connection or by gluing, and an outer part connected to the inner part, wherein the outer part in the assembled state Access to the connecting means blocked. This is preferably true for all four shutter bars, i. for all four rectangle sides of the frame. As explained in detail in connection with the description of the figures, a very simple assembly and disassembly of the frame panel and the glazing is thereby made possible. On the inside of the casement, the glazing is usually connected with an adhesive, which at the same time a high dimensional stability and burglar resistance can be ensured.
Preferably, in the described embodiment, in which the cover strips comprise an inner part and an outer part connected to the inner part, the connection between inner part and outer part accomplished by either the inner part or the outer part has a projection which in a in each case another part of the trained groove is inserted. It is particularly preferred that the outer part has the projection which is inserted for connection in the groove formed in the inner part. For the projection and the groove diverse configurations are conceivable.
With regard to the projection / groove connection is further preferred that the groove extends in the depth direction substantially parallel to the plane of the glazing. By inserting the projection is thus between the frame panel and the sash base body in the direction away from the glazing ensures a positive connection, which makes it impossible to remove the frame panel in the direction and thus increases the burglary security in addition. Typically, the groove extends along the inner circumference of the frame or the inner part or the outer part of the frame panel.
Alternatively to the projection / groove connection may also be present a clip connection. This is preferably designed such that the plugging takes place in the direction perpendicular to the plane of the glazing.
In the event that a gap is formed between the frame panel and the glazing, it is preferably filled with a sealant, e.g. a cementation. Thus, removal of the frame bezel is difficult for unauthorized persons. In particular, with reference to the corresponding preferred embodiment described above, separation of the connection between the outer part and the inner part of the trim strip is made more difficult and the security against burglary as a whole is increased.
The invention will be illustrated with reference to the accompanying figures.
It shows: [0026]
1 shows a cross section through an inventive frame construction comprising a present in the form of a sash frame, as provided in the upper part and on the sides of the frame construction, and framed in the frame glazing, of which only a part is shown; and
2 shows a cross section through a frame construction according to the invention comprising a frame in the form of a casement, as provided in the lower part of the frame construction, and a glazing enclosed in the frame, of which only a part is shown.
According to FIG. 1, the frame construction 10 shown comprises a frame 12 in the form of a sash frame 121, in which a glazing 14 is enclosed. The frame structure 10 also includes a window frame or door frame 16, which is installed in the masonry 18 of a building. With this window frame or door frame 16 of the sash 121 is pivotally connected.
The casement 121 comprises a casement base body 20, which has an inner side facing the building interior 22 and an inner side 22 opposite the outer side 24. The casement base body 20 is usually formed of wood, which in principle come all common for the window or door construction types of wood in question.
The wing frame 121 also includes a frame panel 26 which is disposed on the outside of the sash base body 20 and releasably connected thereto in a manner specified below.
Specifically, in the illustrated embodiment, the frame bezel 26 is rectangular in plan view (i.e., in the direction parallel to the cross-sectional plane), with the sides of the rectangle formed by one bezel 28, respectively. Of these, in Fig. 1, the upper baffle bar 28a or - when viewed as a cross section through one of the lateral parts of the frame construction - one of the two side panel strips shown, while in Fig. 2, the lower panel strip 28b is shown.
In the embodiment shown in the figures, the cover strip 28 each have an outer part 30 and an inner part 32. In this case, the outer part 30 is formed substantially J-shaped with a base bar 34 and two on the longitudinal sides of the base bar at right angles projecting from webs 36, of which a first web 36a projects less far from the base segment as a second web 36b.
The first web 36a forms a projection 361, which is designed to fit a groove 37 which is formed in the inner part 32 of the frame panel 26 and extends along the inner periphery of the inner part 32 and thus of the sash 121.
In the embodiment shown, the inner part 32 of the frame panel 26 is connected to the casement base body 20 by means of a connecting means 38 in the form of a screw 381 and serves as a glazing fixing.
The installation of the window or the door is such that the space provided in the space provided receptacle 40 of the sash base body 20 glazing 14 by means of the inner part 32 of the respective cover strip 28a and 28b is fixed by gluing with this or the screw 381 is tightened until the stop side 42 of the inner part 32 rests fully on the glazing 14.
The outer part 30 is then connected to the inner part 32 by the projection 361 is inserted into the extending along the inner circumference groove 37. The insertion takes place in the direction of the plane of the glazing 14, which ensures a positive fit in the direction away from the glazing and thus a removal of the frame panel 26 is made difficult in said direction. In addition, the inner part 32 is covered on the outside by the second web 36b of the outer part 30, so that access to the screw 381, an alternatively provided glue or clip connection locks and unwanted disassembly is made impossible for unauthorized persons.
In the embodiment shown, a gap 44 is formed between the frame panel and the glazing 14, which is filled with a filling material 46, wherein in concrete case a cement joint is formed. Thus, a pulling out of the outer part 30 from the inner part 32 of the cover strip 28 is more difficult and the burglary security increased overall.
Both the inner part 32 and the outer part 30 of the frame panel 26 and the cover strip 28 are made of acetylated wood.
Furthermore, a Fensterrahmenblende or door frame panel 17 made of acetylated wood is disposed on the outside of the not embedded in the masonry 18 part of the window frame or door frame 16 which is inextricably linked to the window frame or door frame 16. Thus, all exposed to the weather components of the inventive frame construction 10 made of a weather-resistant material, which wooden windows or doors are made possible wood, which are virtually completely maintenance-free, the glazing can be easily replaced and nonetheless are burglar resistant.
