Description Technical Field The present invention relates to a protective cover, and more particularly to a protective cover for a book or electronic device.
Background Art [0002] It is common for users to surround a book or electronic device with a protective cover to protect it from soiling and damage. But with the ever-increasing pace of everyday life, modern people can read virtually anywhere, anytime. Readers often encounter situations where reading can not continue due to inadequate light or inadequate performance of their electronic devices. In a place where there is no lighting or in dark premises, a conventional protective cover would not be able to provide the reader with a power supply or light source. Unfortunately, the reader would need a separate power supply or lighting source for the lighting. In that regard, it would be quite annoying for the reader to carry a book or electronic device, a separate power supply, and a separate light source at the same time.
SUMMARY
The present invention provides a protective housing in which the protective housing for a book or for an electronic device is used. It is intended to provide a protective housing with integrated lighting and charging.
The protective cover according to the present invention comprises a housing. The protective case further includes a mobile power supply embedded in the protective case, and the mobile power supply has a power output interface and a power input interface.
The protective cover further comprises a light source, and the light source is arranged on the housing and electrically connected to the mobile power supply.
The light source is an LED light source.
Furthermore, the orientation of the light source is adjustable.
Alternatively, the light source is removable.
Furthermore, the current output interface is a USB interface.
The power input interface is a USB interface or a mini-USB interface.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
The present invention will be further explained below with reference to the accompanying drawings and embodiments.
Fig. 1 shows a schematic representation of a protective cover according to an embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in FIG. 1, the protective cover comprises a housing, and further comprises a mobile power supply 11 embedded in the protective cover. The mobile power supply 11 is provided with a current output interface 13 and a mini USB power input interface 15. The mobile power supply 11 can be used to charge any electronic device that is housed in the protective cover, for example a tablet computer, and can also be used to charge any external electronic device, such as a mobile phone.
As shown in FIG. 1, the power output interface 13 may be directly connected to an external electronic device to charge the external electronic device using the mobile power supply 11. The mini-USB power input interface 15 is embedded in the housing and a connection cable can be plugged directly into the mini-USB power input interface to charge the mobile power supply 11 in the protective case.
The protective cover is further provided with a battery indicator light 16 and an on / off button 17. When the mobile power supply 11 is being charged in the housing, the battery indicator light 16 may indicate a charging progress. When an external electronic device is being charged, the battery indicator light 16 may indicate a discharge progress and a remaining battery state of charge of the mobile power supply 11 in the housing. The on / off button 17 may control the mobile power supply 11 to operate or stop its operation.
The housing has a receiving area. A user may place an electronic device such as an iPad or a Kindle in the recording area.
Fig. 2 shows a schematic representation of a protective cover according to another embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in FIG. 2, the protective cover comprises a housing and further includes a mobile power supply 21 embedded in the protective cover. The mobile power supply 21 is equipped with a current output interface 23 and a mini USB power input interface 25. The mobile power supply 21 may be used to charge any electronic device placed in the protective cover, such as a tablet computer, and may also be used to charge any external electronic device, such as a mobile phone.
As shown in FIG. 2, the power output interface 23 may be connected directly to an external electronic device to charge the external electronic device using the mobile power supply 21. The mini-USB power input interface 25 is embedded in the housing, and a connection cable can be directly plugged into the mini-USB power input interface to charge the mobile power supply 21 in the protective case.
The protective cover is further provided with a light source 22 which can be used to provide illumination to a reader in a dark environment. The light source 22 may be disposed within the housing and powered by the mobile power supply 21. In the folded state, the light source 22 can be folded to a position close to the housing.
Preferably, the light source may be an LED light source. An LED light source has as advantages low power consumption, high brightness, low heat and others.
Preferably, an orientation of the light source 22 in the protective cover can be adjustable. Using the light source 22, a user may bend them in a desired direction. After use, the user may flip the light source 22 to a position near the housing.
The protective cover is further provided with a battery indicator light 26 and an on / off button 27. When the mobile power supply 11 is being charged in the housing, the battery indicator light 26 may indicate a charging progress. When an external electronic device is being charged, the battery indicator light 26 may indicate a discharge progress and a remaining battery state of charge of the mobile power supply 11 in the housing. The on / off button 27 may control the mobile power supply 21 to operate or stop the operation.
The housing has a receiving area. A user may place an electronic device such as an iPad or a Kindle in the recording area.
FIGS. 3 to 6 show schematic representations of a protective cover according to a still further embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in Figs. 3 to 6, the protective cover comprises a housing, and further comprises a mobile power supply 31 embedded in the protective cover. The mobile power supply 31 is provided with a power output interface 33 and a USB power input interface 34 or a mini USB power input interface 35.
As shown in Fig. 3, the mobile power supply 31 can be used for charging any electronic apparatus embedded in the case of the protective cover, including a light source 32, and also for charging any external electronic device, for example a mobile phone.
As shown in Fig. 3, the protective cover with a battery indicator light 36 and an on / off button 37 is provided. When the mobile power supply 31 is being charged in the housing, the battery indicator light 36 may indicate a charging progress. When an external electronic device is being charged, the battery indicator light 36 may indicate a discharge progress and a remaining battery state of charge of the mobile power supply 31 in the housing. The on / off button 37 may control the mobile power supply 31 to operate or stop its operation.
As shown in Figure 4, the protective cover is further provided with a light source 32 which may be used to provide illumination to a reader in a dark environment. The light source 32 may be detachably connected to the protective cover via a USB interface and powered by the mobile power supply 31. In the folded state, the light source 32 can be folded to a position close to the housing. Using the light source 32, a user can adjust it in a desired direction. After use, the user may flip the light source 22 to a position near the housing.
Preferably, the light source is an LED light source. An LED light source has as advantages low power consumption, high brightness, low heat and others.
As shown in Fig. 5, an external electronic device may be connected to the power output interface 33 via a connection cable to charge the external electronic device. The USB power input interface 34 may be directly connected to a power supply or a USB interface socket to charge the mobile power supply 31 in the protective case.
Preferably, one side of the protective case may be provided with a storage compartment, and the power output interface 33 and the USB power input interface 34 may be held in the storage compartment.
Preferably, the housing is further equipped with an inner pocket into which a user can put a book.
Alternatively, the protective cover may be further provided with the current output interface 33 and a mini-USB power input interface 35 as shown in FIG.
One of ordinary skill in the art can appreciate that what has been described above are merely preferred embodiments of the present invention and are not intended to limit the present invention. Although the present invention has been described in detail with reference to the above-described embodiments, one of ordinary skill in the art may still modify the technical solutions set forth in the above-described embodiments or make equivalent substitutions for some technical features.
