Description
TECHNICAL FIELD [0001] The present invention relates to the field of flexible bracelets, in particular for the production of watch bracelets. It relates, more particularly, a flexible bracelet including a watch comprising a flexible central element and decorative elements adapted to be secured to said flexible central element.
STATE OF THE ART [0002] In the field of wristwatches, it is well known so-called wire mesh bracelets. Such bracelets are described in particular in documents CH 604 594 and CH 661 184.
Document CH 604 594 describes an articulated bracelet composed of links and connecting elements. The links comprise a plane portion which connects two semi-cylindrical surfaces of the same radius, a convex surface and a concave surface, said links being connected by a connecting element comprising at each of its ends a hook cooperating respectively with two adjacent links.
[0004] Document CH 661 184 describes an articulated link watch bracelet. Each link consists of an upper shell and a lower shell formed by stamping with a junction surface. The two shells are joined according to their joining surfaces by brazing or welding, the joint junction surface extending to the ends of the links across the width of the links at the location of the flanges. Blind holes formed two imprints stamped in each portion of flanges allow the mounting of bars that retain the connecting flanges.
However, the realization and assembly of these watch straps are expensive. Indeed, it is necessary to weld loop connectors and end fittings. In addition, these bracelets can be decorated or adorned only by a limited range of motifs and decorative accessories.
To overcome these disadvantages, we have already imagined flexible watchbands with a flexible central element, usually made of rubber, and decorative elements secured to said central element. This is particularly the case of the French patent FR 2 199 955 and the European patent EP 0 723 750.
French Patent FR 2 199 955 describes a bracelet component consisting of a plastic strip, longitudinally flexible, whose upper face is substantially united and whose lower face comprises a succession of substantially parallel transverse grooves separating one from the other. others a substantially equivalent number of projections. The lower face and the sides of each of the projections are covered respectively by the bottom wall and the substantially parallel side walls of a lower liner or yoke connected to an upper liner whose upper wall is applied to the upper upper face of said strip. The succession of upper and lower seals thus conceal substantially the plastic strip while leaving said component longitudinal flexibility.
EP 0 723 750 discloses a watch strap with decorative elements which are carried by a first flexible, elastic and extensible central element, and which are spaced from each other by spacers which are made of one piece on the flexible central element. Said flexible and elastic central element has a channel through which extends a second central element that is also flexible but less extensible. The decorative elements surround, as one-piece socket body, the flexible and resilient central element, said less extensible central element being disposed in an open U-channel.
[0009] Although interesting, this type of device has the disadvantage of requiring a long and difficult assembly. In addition, the upper and lower seals have the disadvantage of dissociating over time and / or damage to the flexible strip on which they are directly mounted.
The present invention aims to overcome, at least partially, the aforementioned drawbacks.
Disclosure of the invention [0011] More specifically, the invention relates to a flexible bracelet, especially for a watch, comprising at least one band obtained in a flexible material and facing elements capable of being secured to the upper face of said flexible strip, wherein said flexible strip has on its lateral edges holes, said holes extending transversely to the flexible strip and coaxially in pairs on either side of said flexible strip and each hole opening on a side edge and on the upper face of said flexible strip, in at least part of which extend tenons having at one of its ends retaining means, said retaining means opening on the side edge and the upper face of the flexible strip without protruding, and facing elements having retaining means adapted to cooperate with the retaining means of the tenons.
It is understood that, unlike bracelets of the prior art, the facing elements are not mounted directly on the flexible band thus avoiding deterioration. Moreover, the assembly of the facing elements is particularly simple and fast. In addition, the bracelet according to the invention allows the mounting of different facing elements.
Preferably, each hole consists of a blind hole to avoid reducing the strength of the flexible band.
Moreover, each hole has a polygonal section, and preferably quadrilateral such as square or rectangular, for example. Such a polygonal shape makes it possible to avoid rotation of the tenon inside the hole.
Preferably, each post comprises a body having a cross section of the same shape as the cross section of the holes and a head comprising retaining means and each post comprises a body having a quadrilateral cross section.
Said retaining means consist of a U-shaped clip whose concavity is oriented towards the opening of the hole on the upper face of the flexible band, a first said proximal branch is integral with the body of the tenon and a second distal branch has at its free end a hook extending outwardly.
Furthermore, each facing element consists of a substantially rectangular plate and two side walls, the inner face of the two side walls respectively comprising complementary retaining means. Said complementary retention means consist of a lug adapted to cooperate with the hook of a tenon.
In addition, the flexible bracelet according to the invention also comprises a clasp comprising a male portion secured to a first end of the flexible strip and a female portion secured to the opposite end of said flexible strip.
The male part and the female part of the clasp comprise respectively two side walls adapted to cap the lateral edges of the flexible band and respectively comprise at least one hole adapted to receive a screw.
Furthermore, it comprises so-called clasp tenons, capable of being introduced into the holes extending near the free ends of the flexible band, and constituted respectively of a body having a cross section of the same shape as the cross section of the holes and a threaded hole at one of its ends, said threaded hole being adapted to receive the fixing screw of the male or female part of the clasp.
To allow the reception of an electronic box, the flexible bracelet according to the invention advantageously comprises in its central part a substantially parallelepipedal housing, hollow and open at its upper and lower ends.
Furthermore, it comprises a removable cover adapted to close the lower opening of said housing.
Said housing comprises two longitudinal grooves extending along the longitudinal side walls of said housing, near its upper opening.
In addition, it comprises a so-called interface element consisting of a substantially rectangular plate and having two longitudinal side walls whose free ends are folded inwards to form respectively a tongue adapted to be introduced into the grooves. for providing attachment of said interface member to the housing.
The longitudinal side walls of the interface element comprise recesses made at regular intervals on the outer face of said interface element, each recess forming a hook adapted to cooperate with a lug of the facing elements to provide fixation. facing elements on the interface element.

Embodiment of the Invention [0028] A flexible bracelet for an electronic box adapted to transmit and receive information from a smartphone, a tablet or the like will be described below; however, it is obvious that the flexible bracelet according to the invention can find many applications and, in particular, can be adapted for wearing a watch, for example.
With reference to FIGS. 1 and 2, the flexible bracelet 1 according to the invention comprises a band 2 obtained in a flexible material and facing elements 3 adapted to be secured to the upper face of said flexible band 2. Said flexible band 2 has on its side edges holes 3, said holes 3 extending transversely to the flexible strip 2 and coaxially in pairs on either side of said flexible strip 2 and each hole 3 opening on a lateral edge and on the upper face of said flexible strip 2 Thus, the flexible strip 2 has at regular intervals holes 3 extending parallel to the upper and lower faces of the flexible strip 2 and perpendicular to the lateral edges of said flexible strip 2, the holes 3 opening on a first lateral edge of the flexible strip 2 extending coaxially with the holes 3 opening on the opposite lateral edge of the flexible strip 2. It will be observed that the term "lower surface" the surface the flexible band that will bear on the skin of the person who will wear the bracelet and, by "upper surface", the opposite surface.
[0030] Incidentally, the lower surface of the flexible strip 2 has grooves 4 extending transversely from one side edge to the other of the flexible strip, between two consecutive holes 3, to improve the flexibility of the strip. flexible 2. Note that said flexible strip 2 can be obtained in any synthetic or natural plastic material, flexible, and elastic, such as, for example, rubber or a thermoplastic elastomer said TPE according to the acronym "ThermoPlastic Elastomers Well known to those skilled in the art.
Moreover, with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3, the flexible bracelet according to the invention comprises tenons inserted in the holes 3. Each tenon 5 comprises at one of its ends retaining means 6, said retaining means 6 opening on the side edge and the upper face of the flexible band 2 without protruding.
In this particular embodiment, each hole 3 consists of a blind hole to avoid reducing the strength of the flexible strip 2. Moreover, each hole 3 has a polygonal section, and preferably quadrilateral such that square or rectangular for example. Such a polygonal shape avoids the rotation of the tenon inside the hole 3 as will be detailed later.
Each stud 5 comprises a body 7 having a cross section of the same shape as the cross section of the holes 3, ie in this particular example a polygonal shape and preferably quadrilateral such as square or rectangular for example, and a head 8 comprising retaining means 9. It is well understood that the quadrilateral shape of the body 7 of the pins 5 prevents said tenons from pivoting about their longitudinal axis in the holes 3.
Said retaining means 9 consist of a U-shaped clip whose concavity is oriented towards the opening of the hole 3 on the upper face of the flexible band 2, a first said proximal leg 10 is integral with the body 7 stud 5 and a second said distal arm 11 has at its free end a hook 12 extending outwardly.
Moreover, with reference to FIGS. 1 and 4, the bracelet according to the invention comprises facing elements 13 comprising complementary retaining means 14 able to cooperate with the retaining means 9 of the tenons 5. Each facing element 13 consists of a plate substantially rectangular 15 and two side walls 16, the inner face of the two side walls 16 respectively comprising complementary retaining means 14. Said complementary retaining means 14 consist of a lug 17 adapted to cooperate with the hook 12 of a tenon 5. The side walls 16 have a decreasing width from the rectangular plate 15 to their free end so that each side wall 16 has a trapezoidal shape. Such a shape prevents the said walls from overlapping when the bracelet is folded inwards.
Thus, it is understood that, unlike the bracelets of the prior art, the facing elements 13 are not mounted directly on the flexible strip 2 thus avoiding deterioration. Furthermore, the mounting of the facing elements 13 is particularly simple and fast. In addition, the bracelet according to the invention allows the mounting of different facing elements.
It goes without saying that the retaining means 9 and the complementary retaining means 14 may be substituted by any other retaining means and additional retaining means well known to those skilled in the art without departing from the scope of the present invention. 'invention.
[0038] Furthermore, with reference to FIG. 1, the flexible bracelet according to the invention also comprises a clasp 18 comprising a male portion 18a secured to a first end of the flexible band 2 and a female portion 18b secured to the opposite end of said flexible band 2.
The male portion 18a and the female portion 18b of the clasp 18 respectively comprise two side walls 19 adapted to cap the lateral edges of the flexible band 12 and respectively comprise at least one hole 20 adapted to receive a screw, not shown on the fig. 1.
In order to allow the fixing of the male 18a and female 18b parts at the ends of the flexible band 2, the bracelet according to the invention also comprises so-called clasp fasteners 21, able to be introduced into the holes 3 extending to proximity of the free ends of the flexible strip 2. Each clasp lug 21 consists of a body 22 having a cross section of the same shape as the cross section of the holes 3, that is to say a quadrilateral shape, and a threaded hole 23 at one of its ends, said tapped hole 23 being adapted to receive the fixing screw of the male portion 18a or female 18b of the clasp 18.
Note that the bracelet according to the invention allows easy adjustment of the length of the bracelet. Indeed, to do this, simply cut the ends of the bracelet along the grooves 4, to the desired length, to place the clasp ten 21 in the holes 3 extending near the free ends of the flexible band, then finally to fix the male parts 18a and female 18b at the ends of the flexible band by means of screws.
Moreover, it is obvious that the clasp 18 may consist of any clasp well known to those skilled in the art without departing from the scope of the invention.
In order to allow the reception of an electronic box, not shown in the figures, the flexible bracelet according to the invention advantageously comprises, with reference to FIGS. 1.5 and 7, in its central part a substantially parallelepipedal housing 24, hollow and open at its upper and lower ends. Furthermore, it comprises a removable cover 25 adapted to close the lower opening of said housing 24.
Said housing 24 further comprises two longitudinal grooves 26 extending along the longitudinal side walls of said housing 24, near its upper opening.
In addition, it comprises a so-called interface element 27 consisting of a substantially rectangular plate 28 and having two longitudinal side walls 29 whose free ends are folded inwards to form a tongue 30 adapted to s' respectively. introduce in the grooves 26 to provide attachment of said interface member 27 to the housing. It will be observed that this interface element 27, in addition to its function of receiving the facing elements 13, makes it possible to stiffen the housing 24.
The longitudinal side walls 29 of the interface element 27 comprise, with reference to FIGS. 6 and 7, recesses 31 made at regular intervals on the outer face of said interface member 27, each recess 31 forming a hook 32 adapted to cooperate with a lug 17 of the facing elements 13 to provide the attachment of said facing elements 13 on the interface element 27.
