When assembling large vertically arranged components, such as housings of turbo machines, difficulties arise during assembly and disassembly due to the size of the individual components. In order to be able to create a permanent connection between the individual components, the housing halves in particular are separated into the lower and upper parts by a horizontal parting line and are then permanently attached by means of screw connections.
Usually, the screws are screwed from below through a bore from the lower housing half into the upper housing half, so that the lower free end of the screws is available for screwing with a screw nut.
Through this screw-nut connection, the components are frictionally fixed to one another, in that the screw and nut are screwed together while elongating the screw. According to the law of materials, this elongation causes a preload in the screw, which applies the normal force required for the frictional connection of the component to the components.
In particular, to connect the components of turbo machines, it is advantageous to use hydraulic clamping devices. These first lengthen the screw hydraulically before the nut of the screw connection is then tightened. When the longitudinal hydraulic pressure is removed, the screw is then supported in the nut, which maintains the elongation of the screw and thus the desired preload. Conversely, to loosen the screw connection, the nut can be relieved and then loosened by renewed hydraulic length of the screw.
As already explained at the beginning, it is common for large turbomachines that their housings are divided horizontally and the two housing halves are connected with screws of, for example, 65 kg and nuts of, for example, 25 kg.
Due to the predetermined arrangement of the screws, the screwing of the nut must often be done overhead by hand, because due to the tight space on the base frame of a turbo machine and due to the surrounding supply lines for the turbo machine, the assembly or disassembly of the nuts is using a pallet truck or other auxiliary equipment is usually not possible.
The foregoing also applies to the assembly or disassembly of the pretensioning device, which is sometimes still a greater weight 90 kg and more unwieldy than the nut of the screw connection for the housing parts to be connected.
According to previous assembly methods, the assembly or disassembly was carried out with two people overhead, which was not optimal in terms of ergonomics and occupational safety.
The invention is therefore based on the object of providing a device with which on the one hand the nut of the screw connection for the components to be connected and on the other hand the fastening nut of the pretensioning device in overhead mounting in an optimal position for fastening to the screw of the screw connection for the to be connected Components is brought.
