Description TECHNICAL FIELD [0001] The present invention relates to the field of watchmaking. It relates, more particularly, to a timepiece comprising a tourbillon mechanism comprising: a first fixed wheel fixedly mounted on a frame in a plane parallel to the plane of the frame; a first cage intended to be driven by a source of energy and mounted rotatably on said frame, according to a first axis perpendicular to the plane of the frame, said first cage carrying a second fixed wheel, - a second cage pivotally mounted on the first cage along a second axis, via a pinion engaged with the first fixed wheel, said second cage carrying an escapement mechanism pivoted on at least one cage bridge and comprising in particular a rocker arm and an escape pinion engaged with the second fixed wheel.
State of the art [0002] Since the invention of the vortex by Breguet, intended to average the errors due to the influence of gravity on the course of a conventional exhaust, and to occupy the latter successive positions, according to A rotation around a given axis, this complication has caused many adaptations, particularly in recent years.
The rotation around an axis is not sufficient to actually offer a walk almost independent of Earth's gravity, it has sought to make vortices rotating around two or three axes. A large number of mechanism variants have already been implemented, but some have not yet been proposed. The object of the present invention is to propose a new two-axis tourbillon alternative.
Disclosure of the invention [0004] More specifically, the invention relates to a timepiece as defined in the claims.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Further details of the invention will appear more clearly on reading the description which follows, made with reference to FIG. 1 attached, representing the essential elements of a timepiece according to the invention.
Embodiment of the Invention [0006] FIG. 1 a tourbillon mechanism of a timepiece according to the invention. Other elements that are not part of the vortex are conventional and do not need to be represented or described.
The vortex thus comprises a first fixed wheel 8 mounted fixed on a frame in a plane parallel to the plane of the frame. The first fixed wheel 8 has a toothing in the field, projecting from the plane of the fixed wheel.
The vortex further comprises a first cage 10 to be driven by a power source and rotatably mounted on the frame, according to a first axis perpendicular to the plane of the frame. In other words, the bridges forming the first cage 10 are located in planes substantially parallel to the plane of the frame. The first cage 10 carries a second fixed wheel 12 whose role will appear later. The first cage 10 is integral with a not shown cage gear, kinematically connected to the barrel of the timepiece.
The vortex further comprises a second cage 14 pivotally mounted on the first cage 10 along a second axis. To do this, two shafts 16, aligned along the second axis, are pivoted respectively in two bearings arranged in two bridges 18 integral with the first cage 10 and projecting with respect to the general plane of the first cage 10. The second fixed wheel 12 is fixedly mounted on one of the bridges 18, in a plane perpendicular to the plane of the frame. The second cage 14 is pivoted via a pinion engaged with the first fixed wheel, integral with one of the shafts 16. It could also be imagined that the second cage is mounted flying, that is to say that it is not pivoted only on a pivoting means, cantilevered.
The second cage 14 carries an escapement mechanism pivoted on at least one cage bridge 22 and comprising in particular a rocker 24 and an exhaust pinion 26 engaged with the second fixed wheel 12.
According to a particular aspect of the invention, the first axis and the second axis are perpendicular. In addition, the rocker is pivoted along an axis inclined relative to the pivot axis of the exhaust pinion. In other words, the balance is pivoted along an axis inclined relative to the general plane of the bridge of the second cage. The exhaust pinion can be pivoted along an axis perpendicular to the bridge of the second cage or along an axis between, typically 80 and 100 ° relative to the bridge of the second cage.
The axis of the balance 24 and the pivot axis of the exhaust pinion typically form an angle between 5 and 45 ° preferably between 5 and 15 °, without these values being limiting.
The axis of the second fixed wheel is perpendicular to the axis of the exhaust pinion.

Claims (6)
[1]
Preferably, the first cage 10 is mounted flying on the frame of the timepiece, that is to say that it is pivoted either on one side or by means of guiding or lateral pivoting. There is therefore no bearing masking the exhaust, at least on the side of the dial of the timepiece, or on both sides if the first cage 10 is laterally pivoted. Those skilled in the art can choose the gear ratios of the different elements of the vortex so that the first and second cage 14 rotate at different speeds around their respective axis, for example at the rate of 1 turn in 10 minutes for the first cage 10 and 1 turn in 60 seconds for the second cage 14. [0016] Thus, in operation, the first cage 10 is rotated by the cylinder, along the first axis. In its rotation, it causes the pivoting of the second cage 14 along the second axis, by meshing of the pinion with the first fixed wheel. The rotation of the second cage 14 generates the rotation of the escapement mobile by meshing of the exhaust pinion 26 with the second fixed wheel 12 and thus brings a torque to the exhaust, to maintain the pendulum oscillations 24.
