专利说明:

Description [0001] The present invention relates to a safety harness belt with tool-holder rings, said rings being able to be hooked to said belt in a switchable position.
[0002] One of the examples of a safety harness, mostly used in climbing and mountaineering activities, is the so-called "low harness". The low harness includes a belt and two leg straps. The latter are joined at the front of the belt by a connecting element known in the art as a "service ring", and are joined at the rear to said belt by a pair of belts.
[0003] The belt is often equipped with rings, known in the sector with the expression "gear loop" in English, which can be used for attaching necessary tools, for the activity being carried out. In the case of climbing, these tools are, for example, carabiners, catches, and cams, used for the self-insurance of the user during the stop and during rope maneuvers.
[0004] In the current state of the art, belts with tool-holder rings, also known as "material-carrying rings" are, mainly, of two types. The first of these comprises belts with only one, or at most, two tool-holder rings, metal or plastic, each attached laterally to the belt, by means of a fabric webbing. The rings of this type are usually of sufficient width to be able to hook all the material necessary for the entire climbing. When the rings are two in number, said rings are fixed in an opposite position with respect to one another, that is, in correspondence with the right and left sides of the user wearing the belt. The second type of belt with tool-holder rings comprises belts provided with a plurality of fabric rings, said rings being irreversibly fixed to said belts. In fact, said rings are either sewn directly to the fabric forming the belt, or are connected to the latter, by means of metal connecting elements. Said connecting elements are in turn connected to the belt by means of strips of fabric sewn onto the belt itself, and, inside which, said connecting elements are made to pass.
[0005] The most obvious disadvantage of state-of-the-art belts and, in particular those of the second type mentioned above, is that of not being able to vary the position of said rings according to the needs and habits of the user, as well as to depending on the size of these. Not all practitioners of a particular sport or who carry out a specific work activity have, in fact, the same abilities, nor do they adopt the same methods of execution as that particular sporting activity. Consequently, not all of them have the same preferences as to what the positioning of the tools should be along the circumference of the belt. Furthermore, the differences in body size, in particular those relating to the circumference of the waist, as well as to the length of the arms, can have a considerable influence on the ease of access of the user to the tools attached to the belt. Therefore, depending on the size of the user's body, the positioning of the tools and therefore of the tool-holder rings will be different, which turns out to be more convenient for that user.
[0006] Therefore, the need arises to have available harness belts that are equipped with tool-holder rings, whose position along the belt circumference can be changed as required by the user. In this way, the user will have at hand, in a short time, and without particularly difficult maneuvers, the various tools that are useful for the exercise of his activities.
[0007] An attempt to meet this need may be found in a variant, now known, of the first type of belts mentioned above, i.e. those equipped with one or two metal rings connected to the belt by means of a fabric webbing. In this variant, instead of being fastened to the belt by sewing or other systems, the fabric web is movable relative to said belt. To this end, the webbing is configured as a closed surface, like a cylindrical surface, inside which passes the tool-holding ring and the belt itself. The webbing is, moreover, sized in such a way that the same, and, therefore, the ring attached to it, can be made to slide along the circumference of the belt.
[0008] Such a solution, while ensuring the possibility of varying the positioning of the tool-holder rings along the circumference of the belt, has the disadvantage of not being perfectly stable, since the webbing that serves as a connection between the tool-holder ring and the belt, can slide along the belt, following the movements of the user, during his activities. This can result in the hooking position of the tool-holder rings being unwanted. Furthermore, the rings of the first type belts are large in order to minimize these unwanted movements. Consequently, belts of this type comprise a small number of rings (one or at most two), on which the user must be able to hook all the tools he needs. Consequently, all the load of the tools is concentrated in a single point with the risk that this could be, disadvantageous for the balance of the user.
[0009] The aim of the present invention is, therefore, to provide a safety harness belt, equipped with tool-holder rings, whose position along the circumference of the belt can be varied as desired by the user, without, in the at the same time, there is the danger of undesired variations of this position during the use of the belt.
[0010] A second object of the present invention is, moreover, to provide a safety harness belt, equipped with a number of tool-holding rings such that said tools can possibly be distributed over the entire length of the belt, without there is a need to concentrate them at one point.
[0011] These objects are achieved by the present invention, which consists of a belt for safety harnesses comprising a plurality of tool-holding rings, preferably made of fabric, each of said tool-holding rings being connected to said belt by two elements connection, preferably metal. Said connection elements are shaped so as to allow the coupling and attachment of the ends of the tool-holder rings to said connecting elements, as well as the reversible coupling of said connecting elements and therefore of said tool-holding rings to said belt. Said belt is, in fact, provided with a plurality of fabric slots for hooking said connecting elements, which can be hooked or unhooked from said slots, so as to vary the position, number and width of said tool-holder rings. By a ring's breadth, of course, the distance between its two ends.
[0012] These and further features will be made clearer by reading the following detailed description, to be considered by way of example and not limitative of the more general concepts claimed.
[0013] In the following description reference is made to the attached drawings in which: fig. 1 is a rear view of a harness comprising the belt which constitutes the present invention; fig. 2 is a side view of a harness comprising the belt which constitutes the present invention; fig. 3a is a front view of a detail of the present invention consisting of a tool-holding ring and of the two connecting elements to which said ring is fixed; fig. 3b is a front view of a detail of the present invention consisting of a connecting element.
[0014] With reference to figs 1 and 2, the belt for safety harnesses, object of the present description, comprises: - a band (1) of fabric; - a plurality of slots (2a, 2c, 2d, 2e, 2g, 2I, 2m, 3a, 3d, 3f, 3i) of fabric, said slots (2a, 2c, 2d, 2e, 2g, 2I, 2m, 3a, 3d, 3f, 3i) being fixed on said belt (1), preferably by sewing; - at least one tool-holding ring (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d); - two connection elements (6a, 6b, 7a, 7b, Sa, 8b) for each ring (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d) tool carrier, said connection elements (6a, 6b, 7a, 7b, Sa, 8b ) being able to connect said at least one tool-holding ring (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d) with said slots (2a, 2c, 2d, 2e, 2g, 2I, 2m, 3a, 3d, 3f, 3i).
[0015] Said slots (2a, 2c, 2d, 2e, 2g, 2I, 2m, 3a, 3d, 3f, 3i) are organized in a first row (2) and a second row (3), called first row (2 ) being arranged along the upper circumference of the belt, and said second row (3) being arranged along the lower circumference of the belt.
[0016] Said at least one tool-holding ring is preferably made of fabric and said connecting elements (6a, 8b, 7a, 7b, 8a, 8b) are preferably made of metal.
[0017] With reference to figs 3a and 3b, each connecting element (6a, 6b) comprises a central portion (11) and two lateral peripheral portions (12) and (12 '). Said central portion (11) is provided with two eyelets (11 a) and (11 b) of preferably rectangular shape, for the passage of the ends (10a, 10b) of the tool-holding ring (5a). The terminal part of said lateral peripheral portions (12, 12 ') is shaped like a hook, said hook being suitable for fixing the tool-holding ring (5a) to the slots (2a, 2c, 2d, 2e, 2g, 2I , 2m, 3a, 3d, 3f, 3i) of the belt (1). Said tool-holding ring (5a) is fixed to said connecting elements (9a, 9b), folding each end (10a, 10b) of the ring (5a) onto itself, and at the same time passing it inside the eyelets (11 a) and (11 b). The terminal part of said end (10a, 10b) is then sewn onto the remaining part of the tool-holding ring (5a).
[0018] With reference to figs 1,2, 3a and 3b, the assembly formed by a tool-holding ring (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d) and two connecting elements (6a, 6b) can be coupled to any pair of slots (2a, 2c, 2d, 2e, 2g, 2I, 2m, 3a, 3d, 3f, 31) of the belt. In order to be able to carry out this coupling, it is necessary to insert said two connecting elements (6a, 6b) into two slots (2a, 2b) of said belt, passing them, with a first vertical movement from the bottom upwards, inside the slots (2a, 2b) of the belt, and then, by means of a second vertical movement from top to bottom, fitting each of said two elements (6a, 6b) in the corresponding sunshade (2a, 2b), by positioning the peripheral portions side (12, 12 ') of the two elements (6a, 6b) outside the slot (2a, 2b) itself. The stability of the coupling of said at least one tool-holding ring (5a) to the slots (2a, 2b) of the belt is further guaranteed by the hook-shaped conformation of the end parts of the lateral peripheral portions (12, 12 ') of said two connecting elements (6a, 6b). Said hooked shape prevents, in fact, the vertical movement from the bottom upwards of said connecting elements (6a, 6b), and the consequent possible exit of said connecting elements (6a, 6b) from said slots (2a, 2b ).
[0019] The pairs of the connecting elements (8a, 6b), (7a, 7b), (8a, 8b) and, therefore, the tool-holding rings (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d) whose ends are fastened said pairs of connecting elements (6a, 6b), (7a, 7b), (8a, 8b), can be coupled to any pair of slots in the belt, said pair being formed by slots not necessarily adjacent (eg (2g, 2I) ) and not necessarily belonging to the same row (eg (2m, 3i)). The only limit is obviously given by the length of the tool-holder rings (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d). Said limit is overcome by the fact that the present invention provides that tool-holding rings (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d) of different length can be supplied with the belt, so as to be able to use the maximum number of combinations of slots (2a , 2c, 2d, 2e, 2g, 2I, 2m, 3a, 3d, 3f, 3i) possible.
