    The present invention relates to a watch case having a screwed bottom whose alignment can be adjusted relative to said watch case for example with respect to its vertical axis 12 o'clock-6 o'clock.
    Such watch cases are known from the documents EP 1 890 203 and EP 1 927 037 which comprise one or more intermediate elements between the bottom and the box comprising either screw threads of opposite directions or springs and stops, this leads to complicated achievements because for their proper operation it is necessary to achieve different screwing torques between the middle and the intermediate element and between this intermediate element and the bottom.
    The present invention aims to achieve a watch case whose angular position of the bottom is adjustable with few parts and whose proper operation does not depend on the tightening torque of the bottom on the middle part.
    The present invention relates to a watch case having a screwed bottom whose angular position is adjusted relative to the 12 o'clock-6 o'clock axis of the box which is distinguished by the features listed in claim 1.

    The watch case according to the invention comprises a middle part 1 fixed on a bezel 2 on which is fixed a mirror 3. The middle 1 and the bezel 2 can be in one piece and form a middle-bezel.
    This watch case still has a bottom 4.
    In the first embodiment of the watch case illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 3 the box further comprises a ring 5 arranged so as to be fixed on the middle part 1 in a plurality of different angular positions and comprises a thread intended to be screwed into a corresponding tapping of the bottom 4.
    In the second embodiment of the watch case illustrated in FIGS. 4 to 9 the box further comprises a ring 5 arranged so as to be fixed on the bottom 4 in a plurality of different angular positions and comprises a thread intended to be screwed into a corresponding thread of the middle part 1.
    The watch case according to the invention therefore comprises a ring adapted to be fixed on the middle part respectively on the bottom in a plurality of angular positions, this ring having a thread adapted to be screwed into a corresponding thread of the bottom respectively of the build.
    The first embodiment of the watch case comprises a caseband 1 provided with an annular lower face 1.1 having in the illustrated example three groups of two tapped holes 6, 7, 8 angularly offset by 120 ° each. compared to others.
    The ring 5 comprises an annular wall provided with a 5.1 thread. This ring also comprises a flange provided in the illustrated example with sixty fixing holes 9 uniformly distributed on the flange 7.
    The tapped holes 6, 7, 8 of the same group are separated by an angular distance corresponding to <1> / 2or an odd multiple of Va times the angular distance between two fixing holes 9 adjacent to the ring.
    Thus, by making three fixing holes 9 of the ring coincide with one or the other of the two tapped holes 6, 7, 8 of each group, the ring 5 can be fixed on the middle part 1 in one hundred and twenty angular positions. different which allows an angular adjustment of a pitch of 3 ° between the middle part 1 and the ring 5.
    Fastening screws 10 allow the assembly of the ring 5 on the middle part 1.
    The bottom 4 of the watch case comprises a tapping 11 corresponding to the 5.1 thread of the ring 5 and on its outer face a formation for its screwing, here a polygonal shape 12.
    Once the ring 5 assembled to the middle 1 the bottom 4 is screwed on the ring 5 at its bottom end edge abutting against the flange of the ring 5 with a predetermined force.
    If the bottom is not properly indexed on the watch case, it measures the difference between the position obtained and the desired position and then separates the bottom 4 of the middle part 1 by unscrewing.
    Unscrewing the fixing screws 10 of the ring 5 on the middle part 1 and rotates the ring 5 relative to the middle part 1 of the value of the difference in the measured bottom position and then sets the ring 5 in its new angular position on middle part 1 with fixing screws 10.
    It then screws the bottom 4 with the desired predetermined force and thus obtains a screwed bottom indexed correctly with respect to the watch case.
    This adjustment operation of the angular position of the bottom screwed on the middle takes place only the first time the box is closed. Then after sales services can be unscrewed and screw back the bottom which in service position on the box is still indexed correctly.
    This device has great advantages, the box is simple, only one additional piece is needed and especially the bottom once adjusted is screwed on the middle part like any screwed bottom. There is no more adjustment to make by sliding parts on each other as in existing devices.
    The second embodiment of the watch case illustrated in FIGS. 4 to 10 comprises, as previously described, a window 2 carrying a window 3 fixed to a middle part 1, a bottom 4 and a threaded ring 5.
    In this embodiment the lower part of the caseband 1 comprises a thread 20 corresponding to a thread 5.1 of the ring 5.
    This ring 5 is slotted so as to be elastically deformable, it comprises a heel 21 which can be housed in a lateral groove 22 of the bottom 4, thereby making the ring 5 "is fixed axially relative to the bottom.
    The bottom further comprises a groove 23 extending under the ring 5 and having on its internal lateral face a toothing or indexing formation 24.
    One or more pins 25 are driven into the ring 5 and emerge from its underside. By elastically discarding the ring 5 it is possible to disengage the pin or pins 25 of the indexing teeth 24 of the bottom and change the angular position of the ring 5 relative to the bottom.
    The threaded ring 5 is therefore able to be fixed on the bottom in a plurality of different angular positions with respect to a bottom 4.
    Once the threaded ring 5 assembled at the bottom 4 (Figure 7) this bottom is screwed on the middle part 1 as any conventional screw bottom.
    If once screwed the bottom is not properly indexed with respect to the middle part, the distance of its angular position from the desired angular position is measured, then the bottom 4 is unscrewed and angularly offset the threaded ring 5 a value corresponding to this distance from the bottom 4. Then it is sufficient to screw the bottom on the middle as a classic screwed bottom and it is indexed correctly relative to the rest of the watch case.
    In variants or the pins 25 may be replaced by a toothing of the ring 5 * corresponding to the indexing teeth 24 of the bottom. This or these pins and indexing teeth of the ring constitute an indexing formation of the ring.
    The described watch case is simple, it has only one piece more than a conventional box, the ring 5 or 5. It does not involve complicated machining and makes it possible once and for all to index the bottom in relation to the rest of the box at the factory. Then after-sales services the bottom is fixed like a conventional screw bottom without any additional manipulation and without the risk of inadvertent deindexing.
