专利说明:

The present invention relates to an analog watch comprising at least one watch case, a watch movement, display means and at least one decorative mobile rotating about an axis of rotation parallel to the axis of the movement and driven by means kinematically related to the watch movement, said decorative mobile comprising a support provided with means for fixing a decorative element such as a precious or semi-precious stone or a sculpture and a toothed wheel for driving in rotating said decorative mobile about said axis of rotation.
[0002] For several years, watchmakers and jewelers have introduced decorative decorative elements into watches. These mobiles turn in principle around an axis is parallel or perpendicular to the axis of the movement. The movement of these mobiles is either free and random depending on the movements imposed on the watch is controlled directly by the user by means of an organ, for example a pusher or a rod and crown, or by movement watchmaking.
The present invention relates to a watch with a decorative mobile whose rotation about an axis parallel to the axis of the watch movement is controlled by the latter. The inventors wish that the decorative element is a precious or semi-precious stone or a sculpture of a relatively large volume and weight and therefore the height of the decorative element is also relatively important. By accepting that for example, the table and the crown of a precious or semi-precious stone of about 5 grams may exceed the plane of the dial of the watch that is to say that the table is between the glass of the watch and the dial, the breech of the stone whose height is about twice the height of the crown must be housed under the plane of the dial. Therefore, the support of the stone located under the plane of the dial must also have a height corresponding at least to the height of the cylinder head and in addition to having an element to be able to drive it in rotation by means kinematically related to the movement of watchmaking. In addition the inventors wish that the decorative mobile replaces one of the hands of the watch, preferably but not exclusively that of the seconds that is to say it does a full revolution per minute. These objectives entail certain requirements for, on the one hand, being able to house the stone and its support which are bulky and heavy, and, on the other hand, to ensure the holding of the decorative element and the precision of its rotation. The unusual weight of this "needle" and the fact that a watch worn on the wrist is subject to unforeseen movements and shocks forced the inventors to seek a solution ensuring a solid attachment of the decorative mobile and to prevent a movement or shock blocks the watch movement because of the exceptional weight of the decorative mobile relative to the weight of a second hand. Incidentally, it is necessary that one can easily remove the decorative element to replace or polish without harming the mechanical part of the watch and more particularly to the rotating drive means of the decorative mobile.
The watch according to the invention is characterized in that a remote gear train meshes with the gear wheel, said gear wheel is a ratchet wheel to ensure the regulation of the rotation of the mobile, that the mobile decorative is located in a cylindrical recess with stages of the watch case, said means said ratchet wheel for rotating said decorative mobile are arranged arranged so that the decorative mobile provided with a marker performs a complete revolution around its axis of rotation so that the position of said marker is a time indication in one minute said decorative mobile thus replacing the needle one of the usual second hands of a watch and the decorative element is held on its support by means elastically deformable allowing its removal or replacement without harming the said gear train and the ratchet wheel.
The choice of inventors to use, for example, a large gemstone or semi precious requires them to have a deep decorative mobile and its rotation drive must be done by means located at the bottom of the mobile decorative so it is necessary that the watch movement transmits the driving torque to the bottom of the watch case.
According to a preferred embodiment, the timepiece is characterized in that said elastically deformable means are constituted by at least three claws mounted on the ratchet wheel extending towards the upper part of the watch case and dimensioned and configured to maintain and ensure that said decorative member in a fixed position relative to said support, that said ratchet is attached to the inner race of a ball bearing or similar device, that the outer race of said ball bearing rests in a first stage of the cylindrical hollow consisting of a first annular recess whose large and small diameters correspond respectively to the outer and inner diameters of said outer cage, and a bearing bridge is fixed on a second stage of the cylindrical recess consisting of a second annular hollow extending about 240 ° in diameter outside greater than the outside diameter of the first annular recess, that said bearing bridge has a lower bearing surface on the surface of the second stage extending over approximately 240 °, that the opposite face of said support bridge has an extra thickness provided with an annular projection towards the center of the support bridge, that said annular projection, extending for approximately 300 °, joins the two upper ends of the support bridge, leaving an annular sector, of the support bridge of about 60 ° without allowance, that a first gear meshes with a toothed wheel, located on the upper part of the watch movement, that said first gear meshes with the pinion of the axis by one second toothed wheel, located towards the bottom of the watch case, which in turn meshes with the ratchet wheel, of the decorative mobile support.
The proposed solution can accommodate in a watch case of usual size the clockwork which is juxtaposed with the decorative mobile with its support and a solid attachment and a gear train transmitting sufficient torque to drive in regular rotation and specifies the decorative mobile which is heavy and voluminous.
The invention will be described with the aid of the accompanying drawing.<tb> Fig. 1 <SEP> is a plan view of the watch case without the dial;<tb> Fig. 2 <SEP> is a sectional view along the line A-A of FIG. 1;<tb> Fig. 3 <SEP> is a perspective view of the decorative mobile;<tb> Fig. 4 <SEP> is a perspective view of the bearing bridge on the ball bearing; and<tb> Fig. 5 <SEP> is a bottom view of the bearing bridge on the ball bearing.
In FIG. 1 a round watch case 1 and the winding and setting rod 11 are shown. The screws 12 and 13 secure the fixing of the watch movement in the box 1. The axis for the hour and minute hands is shown at 14. In FIG. 2 partially shows the watch movement in 15. The decorative mobile 3 comprises a gemstone 31, claws 33 supporting and fixing the gemstone 31 on a ratchet wheel 32, the ratchet 35 being shown in FIG. 1, the ratchet being fixed to the box by a screw 36. The ratchet wheel 32 is fixed by four screws 34 to the inner race 51 (FIG 2) of a ball bearing or the like 5. A support bridge 4 for the ball bearing 5 (described later) is fixed in the box 1 by three screws 41.
The decorative mobile 3, shown in more detail in FIG. 3, comprises a gemstone 31 held by four claws 33 themselves attached to the face of a ratchet wheel 32. The ratchet wheel 32 is mounted by four screws 34 or other means on the upper face of the inner cage 51 a ball bearing 5. This assembly ensures a solid assembly that must be firmly fixed in the box 1.
To achieve this a support bridge 4 for the ball bearing 5 (Figures 4 and 5) has been designed. It must ensure a good holding of the ball bearing 5 in the box 1 while allowing one meshing of the ratchet wheel 32 of the support 3 with a second toothed wheel 8 (FIG 2) and allow the decorative mobile 3 is close of the clockwork movement 15 so as not to unnecessarily increase the dimensions of the box 1.
The rotation torque is transmitted to the decorative wheel 3 and more precisely to the toothed wheel 32 by a first toothed wheel 6 meshing with a toothed wheel 7 (FIG 2) located at the upper part of the clockwork movement 15. The first toothed wheel 6 transmits the rotational torque to the pinion 81 (FIG 2) of a second toothed wheel 8 situated at the height of the ratchet wheel 32 of the support of the decorative mobile 3. The second toothed wheel 8 meshes with the ratchet wheel 32 of the decorative mobile support 3. The upper ends of the axes of the toothed wheels 6, 7 and 8 are fixed on a bridge 9 fixed by three screws 91 on the box 1.
To house the decorative mobile 3 and especially the stone 31 which is high enough a cylindrical hollow 20 (FIG 2) has been provided in the box 1. It has a first stage formed of a first annular recess 30, the large diameter corresponds to the outside diameter of the ball bearing 5 while the small diameter is equal to the inside diameter of the outer race 52 of the ball bearing 5. The ball bearing 5 is placed in this annular recess 30. To be able to fix the bearing to 5 in this place and thus the decorative mobile 3 which it is secured, 'the support bridge 4 is disposed on a second stage formed by a second annular recess 40 extending over approximately 240 °.
The bearing bridge 4 (Figures 4 and 5) has an annular shape. It comprises a fairly wide bearing surface 46 extending over an annular segment ° ABC of about 240 °. This surface 46 bears on the corresponding surface of the second annular hollow 40 (FIG 2). Between one of the ends A of the annular surface ABC and an intermediate point D, an annular extra thickness 42 extends over approximately 300 °. This extra thickness 42 or ABD projects towards the center of the support bridge 4 over a length of about 180 ° (see 43) and a width corresponding to the flat surface of the outer race 52 of the ball bearing 5. In addition to the continuous annular projection on a segment 44 or AC of about 60 ° and joins the two ends A and C of the annular segment ABDC. At least three perforations 45 make it possible to fix the support bridge 4 in the second annular recess 40 by the screws 41.
Referring to FIG. 2 it can be seen that the bearing bridge 4 is supported on the surface of the outer race 52 of the ball bearing 5 over 300 °, which ensures excellent fixing and holding of the ball bearing 5 and of course the decorative wheel 3 in his outfit. The segment DC of the support bridge 4 devoid of excess thickness allows 1 meshing of the second toothed wheel 8 with the toothed wheel 32 of the decorative mobile 3.
The ratchet wheel 32, 35 regulates the rotation of the decorative element whose weight and movements and shocks suffered by the wristwatch could cause the mobile to turn in opposite directions or turn faster.
In reality, the invention makes it possible to propose a watch with a rotating piece of jewelery which contributes not only to the aesthetic appearance of the watch but also to a time indication by replacing the second hand. The ratios of the wheels 6, 7, 8, 32 will be chosen according to the time indication that it is desired to display by the rotation of the mini decorative element of a marker.
