    Description Field of the invention [0001] The invention refers to the field of cycling sports suits. The invention refers in particular to a cycling suit comprising a back in the horse area, and a back to make a cycling suit.
    Prior art [0002] A known technique consists in providing cycling suits with a bottom for better protection and comfort of the parts of the body in contact with the saddle of the bicycle.
    [0003] The bottom may comprise a part of soft fabric, which is also called a cover, and a padding. The padding is normally formed by two or more shaped bearings fixed to said cover or less frequently to the cycling suit. The cover is fixed to the suit, for example by sewing, gluing or welding or other technique. The covering can have a multilayer structure, for example comprising a layer of soft foam material sandwiched between two layers of fabric. The layer in contact with the skin is commonly referred to as the first layer.
    [0004] Cycling suits comprising a bottom are disclosed for example in EP-A-1 972 216 and EP-A-2 494 878.
    [0005] CH 702 218 discloses a breathable composite garment for the low parts of sportswear comprising a perforated layer of soft foam covered with two breathable layers.
    Summary of the invention [0006] The purpose of the invention is to further improve the comfort of the back of cycling suits, with the aim of improving performance in the case of intensive use. The invention is envisaged in particular as an improvement of the multilayer roof of the bottom.
    [0007] These objects are obtained with a cycling suit comprising a bottom arranged in the area of the suit horse, in which: the bottom comprises a covering formed by a piece of soft shaped fabric fixed to the cycling suit, said cover having a multilayer structure comprising at least a first layer, facing inside the suit so as to be in contact with the skin when the suit is worn, and an outer layer opposite to said first layer, characterized in that said outer layer is perforated.
    [0008] Preferably, said cover comprises one or more intermediate layers between said first layer and the outer layer.
    [0009] The bottom can comprise a padding. Said padding can be fixed (for example sewn) to the cover or to the cycling suit.
    [0010] In a preferred embodiment, said covering has a three-layer structure comprising a third layer which is sandwiched between the first layer and the outer layer. More preferably, said third layer is formed from soft foam material. Preferably, said intermediate layer is formed by a synthetic foam rubber, such as for example Moltoprene. More preferably, the intermediate layer is also perforated.
    [0011] The first layer in contact with the skin is continuous, ie not perforated.
    [0012] The perforated outer layer comprises a dense array of holes, having a diameter which is preferably about 2 to 15 mm, more preferably 7-8 mm.
    [0013] The advantages of the invention include lower weight and better transpiration, thanks to the combination of a first breathable layer, a soft intermediate layer and a perforated outer layer. This is in contrast to established practice whereby the outer layer is always a continuous, non-perforated layer.
    [0014] Another aspect of the invention consists of a caseback for a cycling suit. Said base comprises a part of soft shaped fabric, or cover, to be fixed to said cycling suit, and may comprise a padding fixed to said cover. The cover has a multilayer structure comprising at least a first layer which comes into contact with the skin during use, and an outer layer opposite to said first layer, and said outer layer is perforated.
    [0015] It should be noted that the definition of cycling suit in the present description and in the appended claims comprises various articles including at least a part of the shorts with an area of the horse, such as a bodysuit, a pair of shorts and the like.

Detailed description [0018] Fig. 1 shows a cycling suit 1 comprising a bottom 2 in the horse area. The cycling suit 1 is formed by a suitable elastic fabric, such as Lycra, and can have different shapes, such as that of a bodysuit, a pair of shorts, and others, according to the different forms of the invention and the intended use, to winter or summer example, for men or women, etc. [0019] The bottom 2 is better illustrated in figs. 2 and 3. Said base 2 comprises a soft part of fabric to form a covering 3. Said cover 3 is fixed (for example sewn) inside the crotch area of the cycling suit 1. The bottom 2 also comprises a suitable padding which for example it includes a pair of cushions 4. [0020] Fig. 2 shows a typical shape of a pad; said bottom 2 may have a concave shell at the front and / or rear. In some embodiments, the bottom 2 can be fixed to the suit 1 along a front fastening region and a rear fastening region, leaving a free central part for better comfort, according to EP 2 494 878. [0021] The cover 3 has a multilayer structure, which in this example comprises three layers; a first layer 5, an intermediate soft layer 6, and an outer layer 7. The structure is shown in fig. 3, note that the thickness of the layers is not shown in scale. [0022] The first layer 5, during use, is normally in contact with the skin. The outer layer 7 is opposite to the first layer 5 and faces the suit 1. [0023] Fig. 4 shows a portion of fabric which can be used for the outer layer 7. Said outer layer 7 is perforated as shown in the figure, comprising a plurality of holes 8 arranged according to a suitable dense scheme and having a diameter of for example about 7-8 mm. [0024] The cycling suit 1 is preferably formed by an elastic or braided fabric and the bottom 2 is preferably formed from a soft material and more preferably from a soft material which is elastic in all directions. [0025] In a more preferred embodiment, the first layer and the outer layer are formed in part by an elastomer (for example polyamide PA and elastomer) and the intermediate layer is formed by a synthetic foam rubber. [0026] The invention achieves the aforementioned purposes, with a reduced weight and a better breathability of the bottom, with respect to the prior art. claims

Cycling suit (1) comprising a bottom (2) arranged in the area of the suit horse, in which: said bottom (2) comprises a cover (3) formed by a part of soft shaped fabric fixed to the cycling suit (1), said cover (3) has a multilayer structure comprising at least a first layer (5), facing the inside of the suit so that it is in contact with the skin when the suit is worn, and an outer layer (7 ), opposite to said first layer, characterized in that said outer layer (7) is perforated.

    2. Cycling suit according to claim 1, wherein said cover (3) of said bottom (2) comprises one or more intermediate layers between said first layer and the outer layer.

Bottom (2) for a cycling suit (1), in which: said bottom (2) comprises a cover (3) formed by a part of soft shaped fabric, which can be fixed to said cycling suit (1), called cover (3) has a multilayer structure comprising at least a first layer (5) for contact with the skin during use, and an outer layer (7) opposite to said first layer, characterized in that said outer layer (7) is perforated.
