Description: [0001] The present invention finds its application in the field of watchmaking, and more particularly watches, generally constituted by a drive mechanism in movement of indicator hands moving in front of a dial indicating the time, this set being arranged in a housing and covered by a glass. The aforementioned mechanism is primarily intended to drive the hour and minute hands, but also, depending on the type of watch, to give other indications such as the date in an opening of the dial. The internal mechanism is in connection with an external member passing through a lateral side of the housing, which is intended to be actuated in rotation in its main winding function, but also, by moving axially, to act on other functions such as setting the time or date. In the latter case, the winding is actuated in rotation, but also in other axial positions. In order to facilitate the actuation of such a mechanism, it is well known to provide at the outer end thereof a crown often notched favoring gripping. It turned out that these crowns, prominent with respect to the housing, were often exposed to shocks and accidental maneuvers, hence the interest that there would be to protect them. It is precisely the object of the invention which concerns for this purpose a watch winding crown arranged to be associated, in axial displacement and in rotation, with a threaded shaft arranged to pass through a housing, via of a tube fixed thereto, and arranged to be connected, at the opposite end to the crown, with the rod of a drive mechanism of the different functions of the watch, characterized in that said ring is housed in a lateral external recess of the housing, of substantially corresponding shape, and arranged to retract or be extracted manually by telescopic translation means. The present invention also relates to the features which will emerge in the course of the description which follows and which should be considered in isolation or in all their possible technical combinations without departing from the scope of the appended claims. This description given by way of non-limiting example, will better understand how the invention can be made with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Fig. 1 represents, on an enlarged scale, an axial sectional view of a winding watch crown assembly with telescopic effect according to the invention, in the retracted position in the housing. Fig. 2 represents the same view as that of FIG. 1, but on a smaller scale and comparative with successive views. Fig. 3 shows an axial sectional view of the crown assembly according to FIG. 2, after extraction thereof from its housing, allowing access to a first function, winding for example. Fig. 4 shows an axial sectional view of the crown assembly according to FIG. 3, after drawing on the crown overtravel, allowing access to a second function, for example, time setting. Fig. 5 shows an axial sectional view of the crown assembly according to FIG. 4, after pushing the crown in the course of catching play of the telescopic function, before repelling the movement. Fig. 6 shows an axial sectional view of the crown assembly according to FIG. 5, after complete adjustment of the game of the telescopic function, and before total retraction of the crown in the housing housing. Fig. 7 shows an axial sectional view of the crown assembly according to FIG. 6, after total retraction of the crown. The figures show an assembly 1 of crown 2 watch winding arranged to be associated, in axial displacement and in rotation, with a threaded shaft 3 arranged to pass through a housing 4, through a fixed tube 5 on it, and arranged to be connected, at the opposite end to the ring 2, with a rod 6 of a drive mechanism (not shown) of the various functions of the watch. According to the invention, said ring 2 is housed in a lateral external recess 7 of the casing 4, of substantially corresponding shape, and is arranged to retract or be extracted manually by translation means to telescopic effect.

Claims (3) [1] 1. Set (1) crown (2) winding for a watch of a drive mechanism and a movement, the ring being associated, in axial displacement and in rotation, with a threaded pin (3) arranged to cross the housing (4), via a tube (5) arranged to be fixed thereto, and arranged to be connected, at the opposite end to the ring (2), with the rod (6) the driving mechanism of the different functions of the watch, said ring (2) being intended to be housed in a lateral external recess (7) of the casing (4), of substantially corresponding shape, and is arranged to retract or being extracted manually, by translation means, characterized in that these translational means of the ring (2) are telescopic and are constituted by a crown tube (8), integral with the ring (2) and arranged to be driven by it in rotation and in axial translation of in the tube (5), said crown tube (8) being itself connected to the threaded pin (3), through an auxiliary tube (9) in the bore of which is formed a first peripheral central groove (10), corresponding to a first position, said retracted position of the crown (2), and the groove being arranged to accommodate at least one ball (11,12), arranged in a corresponding housing (13) radially formed in said threaded shaft (3) and acting initially on the auxiliary tube (9) by the thrust of a spring (14), according to a predetermined force, a second peripheral groove (15), arranged to house the at least one ball ( 11, 12), being produced near the lower end opposite to the crown (8b) of the crown tube (8), corresponding to a second position, called the first extraction position of the crown (2), allowing the execution of a first function of the movement, in which a internal peripheral shoulder (16) of end (8b) of the crown tube (8) is in contact with a corresponding peripheral shoulder (17) of the threaded axle (3), to drive it axially in an overtravel (I ), corresponding to a third position, said second extraction position, allowing the execution of a second function of the movement. An assembly according to claim 1, characterized in that the thrust force of the spring (14) on the balls (11, 12) is less than the manual pushing force on the ring (2) necessary to move the axis threaded shaft (3), so that the threaded axis (3) remains stationary when the ring (2) is pushed back to its first position, said retracted position, by catching the clearance (J) of the telescopic function.
