“ORDER INFORMATION DETERMINATION METHOD AND ORDER INFORMATION DETERMINATION APPARATUS” Field of the invention [001] The present invention relates to the field of Internet technologies and, in particular, to a method and apparatus for determining information request.
Background to the Invention [002] After selecting goods at a conventional physical store, consumers need to queue at the payment counters to pay for the goods, and verification teams use computers to pay for the goods. However, this payment process is often inefficient and is likely to take a long time to wait. To improve payment efficiency, in existing technology, when a consumer selects and buys goods, a consumer selection and purchase process can be analyzed in real time based on a technology such as computer vision, to determine goods picked up by the consumer and goods returned by the consumer in order to modify and determine the order information, that is, a consumer invoice list. However, in the previous analysis process, there are many factors that can cause inaccurate determination, for example, inaccurate determination occurs when many people simultaneously take goods from a lower shelf, or an identification device is protected and takes an erroneous decision when the consumer places goods with an extremely high resemblance back to the wrong places. All of these factors can cause an inaccurate determination of order information and affect the payment of goods.
Brief Description of the Invention [003] In view of this, the present invention provides a

2/16 order information determination method and apparatus, to determine goods order information more quickly and accurately, so that a goods in an order is associated with a consumer.
[004] The present invention is achieved using the following technical solutions:
[005] According to a first aspect, a method for determining order information is provided, where the method is used to determine an association between a user and a commodity selected and purchased by the user and includes: performing human gesture recognition in a user to obtain user gesture data; position a merchandise to obtain merchandise location information; determine if a user's gesture is picking up the goods based on gesture data and location information; and add the goods to a user's order if the result of the determination is that the user has picked up the goods.
[006] According to a second aspect, an order information determination device is provided, and the device includes: a gesture recognition module, configured to perform human gesture recognition on a user to obtain user's gesture data ; a merchandise positioning module, configured to position a merchandise to obtain merchandise location information; an information processing module, configured to determine if a user gesture is picking up the goods based on the gesture data and location information; and an order processing module, configured to add the goods to a user's order, if the result of the determination is that the user has picked up the goods.
[007] In accordance with the method and apparatus for determining

3/16 order information in the present invention, a consumer's order information can be quickly and precisely determined and payment for an order is automatically completed. After completing the purchases, the consumer can leave directly without queuing at a cashier for payment, thus improving the efficiency of purchases and providing a good shopping experience.

Detailed Description of the Invention [013] In people's daily lives, shopping in supermarkets, malls, convenience stores, etc., is a common buying behavior. After selecting and purchasing goods, a customer must queue at a checkout counter at an outlet to pay for the goods, which is time-consuming and inconvenient. To improve the efficiency of purchases, a purchase management system can be used to

4/16 automatically identify the goods selected and purchased by a consumer during purchases, determine an association relationship between the consumer and the goods selected and purchased by the consumer and automatically send an invoice corresponding to the consumer for self-service payment. As such, the consumer does not need to queue at the exit to pay for the goods, thus improving the efficiency of the purchase.
[014] An important factor in implementing the previous method is to determine an association relationship between a consumer and goods selected and purchased by the consumer, and an invoice corresponding to the consumer can be obtained only after the association relationship has been determined. In the present invention, this association relationship can be referred to as "order information", that is, goods selected and purchased by a consumer. A method of determining order information provided in the present invention is intended to determine order information in a simple and accurate manner, to assist in quick payment.
[015] A process for processing the method of determining order information in the present invention is described below using an example that a consumer buys at a convenience store. However, the method can also be applied to another scenario, such as a scenario in which an association relationship between a person and an article needs to be determined, for example, shopping in a supermarket, shopping in a shopping center, monitoring the stock in a warehouse (which person took which product from the warehouse), and book management for the library (which user borrowed which book).
[016] Figure 1 illustrates a convenience store area layout. As shown in Figure 1, a convenience store (100)
Petition 870190062759, of 07/05/2019, p. 11/33
5/16 may include an entry area (101), a storage area (102) and an exit area (103). A consumer can enter the convenience store (100) from the entrance area (101), and select and purchase merchandise in the storage area (102). After completing the selection and purchase, the consumer leaves the convenience store through the exit area (103). The storage area (102) can store many goods. For example, (1021) to (1024) illustrated in Figure 1 are goods in the convenience store and can include fruits, drinks, milk, bread, etc. Figure 1 illustrates only part of the goods, and the storage area (102) can actually include more goods. The convenience store layout shown in Figure 1 is a functional area division and is not an actual physical area division. In one example, a plurality of entry areas (101), storage areas (102) and exit areas (103) can be arranged together by merging, instead of being organized separately.
[017] The convenience store (100) in Figure 1 can also include a purchase management system (104). The purchasing management system (104) can communicate and interact with the entry area (101), the storage area (102) and the exit area (103). Figure 2 illustrates the layout within the convenience store in more detail. For example, some facial recognition devices (201) can be placed in the entrance area (101) in the convenience store (100). When a consumer (202) enters the convenience store, the facial recognition device (201) can automatically collect consumer recognition data (202). For example, the facial recognition device (201) can collect images of the consumer in the entry area, search the image using a specific policy to determine whether the image includes a face and return a location, size and facial gesture if the image includes the face. In addition, the facial recognition device (201) can perform pre-processing and

6/16 the extraction of features in a facial image to obtain facial recognition data. Some shelves (203) can be placed in the storage area (102), and many goods can be placed on the shelves (203), for example, bananas (2031), and milk (2032) shown in Figure 2. For example, when select and buy a commodity, the consumer can hold the commodity with one hand or hold the commodity with one arm, that is, the consumer can carry the commodity using a body part. After completing purchases, the consumer can go to the convenience store exit area and exit the convenience store through an exit channel (204) without queuing for payment. Normally, only one person can pass through an output channel (204) in sequence.
[018] In one example, in this description, a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag can be attached to each commodity, for example, an RFID tag (205) attached to a commodity on the shelf (203) in Figure 2. The labels on different goods include different information and the labels include information identifying the goods.
[019] As shown in Figure 2, a plurality of readers configured to receive an RFID tag signal can still be installed on a wall, on a roof, etc. from the convenience store, for example, a reader (206) arranged in the entrance area, a reader (207) arranged in the storage area, and a reader (208) arranged in the exit area. The reader can transmit received RFID tag information to the purchase management system (104), and the purchase management system (104) can store and process the information. In addition, monitoring devices, such as cameras (209), can be discarded at the convenience store, and these monitoring devices can be configured to perform video monitoring at the store. The monitoring information can also be transmitted to the purchasing management system
Petition 870190062759, of 07/05/2019, p. 13/33
7/16 (104). The shopping management system (104) can transmit more information in the system to another device for display using a network device, such as a wireless antenna installed in the store. For example, the purchase management system (104) can transmit the information to a smartphone carried by the consumer, so that the consumer can conveniently check the information obtained by the purchase management system using the mobile phone.
[020] The purchasing management system (104) can be a local or remote server system and can include a plurality of computer processing devices. For example, two computer devices are illustrated in Figure 2, and there may be more computer devices in the actual implementation. As shown in Figure 3, a computer device can include a processor (301), an input / output interface (302), a network interface (303) and a memory (304). The processor (301), the input / output interface (302), the network interface (303) and the memory (304) can be connected and communicated with each other using a bus (305). Figure 3 illustrates only a few components, and an actual computer device may include more or less components. The memory (304) can also include a data management module (3041) and a purchase management module (3042). These modules can be in the form of hardware, software, etc., and can be programs executable by computer when they are in the form of software.
[021] For example, the computer device can receive, via the network interface (303), information transmitted by a device such as an RFID tag or the camera in the convenience store and process the information (which is described in detail in a subsequent example), for example, location information for a commodity obtained through positioning using the RFID tag or member ID information
Petition 870190062759, of 07/05/2019, p. 14/33
8/16 transmitted by the consumer. The processor (301) can process the information received by executing an instruction from the purchase management module (3042), to obtain some more recent data, for example, information about a new consumer entering the convenience store, merchandise location information , a user's gesture data, or requesting information from a consumer. In addition, the processor (301) can update the data to a database (305) by executing an instruction from the data management module (3041).
[022] In one example, the database (305) can store data, for example, the data can include user information, location information, order information and gesture data. User information can be member IDs of some users registered in the purchase management system, location information can be obtained by placing a merchandise described in a subsequent example, ordering information can be information about selected and purchased merchandise by a consumer and the gesture data can be obtained by performing dynamic human gesture recognition on a user which is described in a subsequent description. In addition, the computer device can update information based on the latest data received. For example, the computer device can update user information when there is a new registered user, can update merchandise location information during real-time positioning of the merchandise, and can further update the order information based on a change goods order. In addition, the computer device can send additional data to the database. For example, the computer device can extract the order information from the database and send the order information to another device, such as a consumer’s cell phone,
Petition 870190062759, of 07/05/2019, p. 15/33
9/16 so that the consumer can verify the information.
[023] Figure 4 illustrates a procedure for determining order information. When a consumer enters a convenience store to select and purchase merchandise, the consumer can enter the convenience store in the entrance area, select and purchase goods on the shelves during shopping, and can hold the merchandise with one hand or arm , and exit directly from the convenience store through the exit area after completing your selection and purchase. In this process, the purchasing management system can perform the procedure in Figure 4 to determine the order information, that is, determine the goods selected and purchased by the consumer at the convenience store.
[024] In step (401), when the consumer enters the convenience store to select and purchase merchandise, the consumer can enter a member ID in the entry area. For example, the user can generate a two-dimensional code identifying identity information using the shopping software installed on a smartphone. The purchasing software can be client software in the purchase management system and the user has entered the member ID registered with the client software on the cell phone. The member ID can be referred to as a user identifier. Alternatively, the user can enter the member ID via NFC using a smart device, such as a band, and the smart device has been associated with the member ID. The customer's software can further load the member ID obtained into the purchase management system.
[025] In addition, in the entrance area, the facial recognition device (201) can perform facial recognition on the user and transmit the facial recognition data obtained to the purchase management system. Thus, the purchasing management system can receive information about the link between the recognition data
Petition 870190062759, of 07/05/2019, p. 16/33
10/16 facial and the member ID used as the user identifier, which is equivalent to learning a member ID corresponding to a consumer with a facial feature and the purchasing management system can store the mapping relationship in the database (305).
[026] When the user enters the storage area to select and purchase merchandise, throughout the convenience store, an RFID tag attached to a merchandise can be located using the RFID reader (208), etc., installed in the store . For example, the reader (208) can receive a tag signal sent by the RFID tag on the merchandise. The label sign can include information about goods. For example, information about goods may include a merchandise code uniquely identifying the merchandise. In step (402), the reader (208) can transmit the tag signal to the purchase management system, and the purchase management system can perform positioning calculation based on the tag signal to obtain tag location information positioning in the merchandise. For example, with reference to Figure 3, the processor (301) on the computer device can execute executable code in the purchase management module (3042), perform positioning calculation based on the label signal and store the obtained location information by calculation in the database (305) by executing executable code on the data (3041). In the present step, positioning can be performed based on common RFID positioning technology. In addition, some facial recognition devices can be installed in a selection and purchase area at the convenience store. These devices can not only detect facial features, but can also locate people to obtain location information for consumers in the store.
[027] In step (403), the purchasing management system
Petition 870190062759, of 07/05/2019, p. 17/33
11/16 can determine, based on location information, that the goods and the user are in the exit area of the convenience store.
[028] In step (404), the purchasing management system can perform human gesture recognition on the user using the facial recognition device (210) is installed in the exit area, to obtain data from the user's gestures and position the tag of goods using the reader (208) in the exit area, to obtain location information of the goods. An input video can be analyzed to recognize a human gesture, for example, if a person puts his hands in front of his chest or hangs his hands or if the person holds his arms tightly. The user's gesture data is equivalent to a location relationship between all parts of a human body.
[029] In this example, whether a user gesture is picking up the goods can be determined based on the gesture data and location information. For example, whether the goods can be picked up using a gesture from a part of the user corresponding to the location information on the positioning tag can be determined based on the gesture data. Suppose that the part of the user corresponding to a location of the positioning tag is the user's chest, but the user's gesture data shows that there is nothing in front of the chest and the user releases hands, the goods are not held by the user . In an opposite example, assume that the part of the user corresponding to the location of the positioning tag is on the side of the user's thigh, and it is determined, based on the gesture data, that the user locks the user's hand and hand. it is also in this area, it can be determined that the user holds the goods by hand.
[030] In step (405), information about goods in the merchandise can be added to a user order if the result of the
Petition 870190062759, of 07/05/2019, p. 18/33
12/16 determination is that the user has picked up the goods. In addition, in the exit area, the facial recognition device retrieves facial recognition data, obtains a member ID corresponding to the data and adds the merchandise to the order corresponding to the member ID. If the corresponding member ID is not obtained through face recognition, another method can be tried to enter the member ID, for example, the member ID can be entered using a two-dimensional code or NFC. On merchandise detection, a merchandise label that does not belong to the convenience store can be excluded.
[031] During the determination of order information in the present invention, the user's gesture data is recognized and the merchandise positioned, and then an order to which the merchandise belongs is determined using a location relationship between a gesture and the merchandise . This method is more accurate in determining an order. For example, even if many people use goods simultaneously on a shelf, a location relationship between a commodity and a user gesture still needs to be determined, and an order is determined only when a commodity satisfies a gesture of picking up the merchandise. For another example, even if the user places goods with high similarity in the wrong places, there will be no effect on the determination of a final goods and a gesture by the user. This method can be more accurate when determining an order to which a commodity belongs without the effect of many misleading factors.
[032] A goods order property can be determined based on the distance between the goods and a cart at any time after the user enters the convenience store. In some cases, after member identification and associated facial recognition data is obtained in the entry area, recognition is not
Petition 870190062759, of 07/05/2019, p. 19/33
13/16 performed during the selection of goods and purchase in the storage area. Instead, a location relationship between a user gesture and the goods can be recognized in the exit area, in order to determine an order to which the goods belong.
[033] In addition, when adding the goods to the user's order, the purchasing management system can update the order information data in the database (305), that is, the goods selected and purchased in the user's order are updated. In addition, the purchase management system can send the order information to the user's smartphone. As shown in Figure 3, the client software installed on the user's smartphone can have a cart information interface, and the cart information interface can display a list of merchandise order information. The user can see the following information: “You have selected and purchased the following goods: bananas and apples”, so that the user can know a change in the order at any time. The cart information interface can also display a quantity of goods selected and purchased by the user, or it can display more other information about goods, such as production locations of the goods. The use of other auxiliary determination technologies is not excluded in the present invention to assist in determining order information, for example, a plurality of sensors can be used for assistance.
[034] After the order information is determined, the purchase management system can generate an account to be paid based on the order and send the account to be paid to the user. The user can pay the account in a funds account corresponding to the member ID. The user's funds account must have enough money or can be connected to another payment channel with enough money to pay for the order. Case
Petition 870190062759, of 07/05/2019, p. 20/33
14/16 otherwise, the user is possibly restricted to leave with a merchandise in addition to a payment capability or a warning device can be triggered to issue a warning.
[035] In the example of the present description, an RFID tag is attached to a commodity, and the commodity is positioned using the RFID tag. In specific embodiments, this is not limited to them, and the merchandise can be positioned in another positioning method. Another positioning tag can be attached to the merchandise and the merchandise is positioned using another corresponding positioning technology.
[036] In accordance with the method of the present invention, a consumer's order information can be quickly and precisely determined and payment for an order is automatically completed. After completing the purchases, the consumer can leave directly without queuing at a cashier for payment, thus improving the efficiency of purchases and providing a good shopping experience.
[037] The present invention further provides an order information determination apparatus. The device can be the purchase management module in Figure 3 or the purchase management system in Figure 1. As shown in Figure 5, the device can include a gesture recognition module (51), a goods positioning module (52), an information processing module (53) and an order processing module (54).
[038] The gesture recognition module (51) is configured to perform human gesture recognition on a user to obtain the user's gesture data.
[039] The merchandise positioning module (52) is configured to position a merchandise to obtain merchandise location information.

[041] The order processing module (54) is configured to add the goods to a user's order, if the result of the determination is that the user has picked up the goods.
[042] In one example, the information processing module (53) is configured to: position a positioning tag on the merchandise based on a tag signal sent by the positioning tag, to obtain positioning tag location information, wherein the label sign includes merchandise information for the merchandise; and determining, based on the user's gesture data, whether the goods can be picked up using a gesture from a part of the user corresponding to the location information on the positioning tag.
[043] In one example, the positioning tag is a radio frequency identification RFID tag.
[044] In one example, the information processing module (53) is configured to determine if the user's gesture is picking up the goods when it is determined that the goods and the user are in an exit area based on the location information of the merchandise and the user obtained through positioning.
[045] In one example, the order processing module (54) is further configured to: obtain, in an entry area, facial recognition data from the user who selects and buys the merchandise, where the facial recognition data corresponds to a user's user identifier; and get facial recognition data again to get a user identifier corresponding to the facial recognition data
