专利说明:
[001] The present invention relates to a device for filling and closing disposable bags suitable for containing paper documents, in particular bank notes. [002] Such a device is designed to be used in machines to store banknotes normally present in banks, supermarkets, commercial centers ("shopping centers"), or the like. [003] Devices of this type, characterized by a structure comprising an upper container to temporarily house one or more banknotes (equipped with an opening at the bottom for the controlled output of banknotes) and a lower element with a plane to support the bag designed to be filled with banknotes, placed below the opening in the bottom of the upper container, are described, for example, in Italian Patent Application numbers M2013A000753 of M2013A000751 to the same Applicant. [004] The lower plane, to support the bag containing the banknotes, is movable vertically against the action of compression or traction springs, so as to progressively lower when the number of banknotes penetrating the bag increases, due to the thickness of banknotes. In such devices, the controlled transfer of banknotes from the upper container to the bag supported on the lower mobile plane takes place thanks to the thrust of a vertically movable piston within the upper container to push the banknotes downwardly. to force them through the opening at the bottom of the container. Once the passage has taken place and the banknotes have been introduced into the bag, the thrust of the piston contributes to lowering the lower mobile plane. [005] Once the bag is full, it is closed by means of a pair of sealing bars arranged between the bottom of the upper container and the lower mobile plane, after having retracted the piston taking it back to its position top so as not to interfere with the blades themselves. [006] Following piston retraction, however, the compression force of the compression or traction springs (now only balanced by the weight of the banknotes, but no longer by the piston thrust) causes the lower moving plane to lift until the banknotes rest (with the bag interposed) against the lower surface of plates or other suitable protective elements of the sealing bars, which are usually provided to prevent direct contact between the bag and the bar's moving mechanisms. [007] In this situation, with the bank notes compressed (with interposition of the bag) against the aforementioned protective elements, the action of the sealing bars causes traction of the bag, making it move in the area adjacent to the bars themselves. [008] This movement of the bag causes a movement of bank notes present in the upper portion of the stack, which are in contact with the bag itself and immediately adjacent to it. [009] Depending on the bag's coefficient of friction (thus based on the physical and mechanical properties of the bag), the behavior of banknotes may be different. For example, if the bags have a low coefficient of friction and are not very stiff, the displacement of banknotes due to movement of the sealing bars may be minimal, and thus negligible. [0010] On the contrary, in the case of bags with a high coefficient of friction or with a higher degree of rigidity, the movement of the sealing bars can produce a significant displacement of the banknotes, which tend to move as a whole with themselves bars. In this case, banknotes can become compressed between the bars or, in the worst case, even out of the bag. It is clear that in these cases a correct sealing of the bag cannot be achieved, as a bank note is interposed between the bars, thus preventing the two edges of the bag from being joined. [0011] To avoid this problem, the action of the springs that push the lower mobile plane to support the bag must be canceled during the sealing process and, at the same time, the bank notes must be kept away from the protective plates of the bars sealing, so that the bars can advance without the banknotes moving along with the bag which, on the other hand, is free to move along with the bars. [0012] In the prior art, solutions to prevent movement of the lower moving plane can provide the use of electric motors, clutches, solenoids, etc. All of these solutions, however, involve remarkable mechanical or electronic complexity. For example, the application and use of an electric motor or a clutch requires a lot of space, and its administration can prove complex and difficult, at the same time for effective control of the actuation steps and to obtain adequate precision in the positioning of the support plane. [0013] The use of a solenoid, on the other hand, can cause problems connected with the reliability of keeping the support plane in a locked position, which is continuously deformed by the action of the pushing spring. [0014] The general purpose of the present invention is to avoid the aforementioned disadvantages, providing device for filling and closing bags to contain paper documents such as bank notes and the like, in which it is possible, in a simple manner, effective in cost and reliable, canceling the upward thrust that the bag's lower support plane normally receives from the contrast springs before starting the step of closing and sealing the bag, thus preventing the banknotes present in the upper portion of the bag from being pulled towards the mouth of the bag, when the sealing bars are actuated. [0015] In view of this purpose, it was envisioned to make, according to the invention, a device for filling and closing disposable bags to contain banknotes, comprising an upper container for temporarily housing one or more banknotes, provided a bottom with an opening for exiting said one or more banknotes from the container, a piston for pushing said one or more banknotes towards the opening at the bottom of the container, a bag made of flexible plastic film designed to be filled with the banknotes temporarily housed in the container, and exiting through said opening, a support for the bag containing the banknotes, movable vertically through a controlled lowering device, and placed below the container, and bars seals arranged between the upper container and the mobile support and designed to seal the mouth of the bag once filling is complete, characterized in that it comprises nder an electromagnetic stop element that can be controlled to lock the movable support in relation to the sealing bars, said electromagnetic stop element consisting of an electromagnet applied to the movable support and a fixed element made of ferromagnetic material, adapted to face the electromagnet in operational condition . [0016] To make the explanation of the innovative principles of the present invention and its advantages over the prior art clearer, hereafter, with the help of the attached drawings, we will describe a possible modality that applies such principles. In the drawings: [0017] Figure 1 illustrates a schematic partially sectioned view of a device for filling and closing bags according to the invention, represented in an initial step of the bag filling operation. [0018] Figure 2 represents a view of the device of Figure 1 after all banknotes have been introduced into the bag. [0019] Figures 3 to 8 represent the device according to the invention in successive operating positions during the step of closing and sealing the bag. [0020] Figure 9 shows a detailed view of the system for locking the banknote holder plane in the device according to the invention, shown in non-operational condition. [0021] Figure 10 shows a detailed view of the locking system of Figure 9 in operational locking condition. [0022] With reference to Figures 1 - 8, the device 10 for filling and closing bags to contain banknotes consists essentially of an upper container 11 in which banknotes 12 designed to be inserted in a bag 13 are housed in a manner temporary, of a piston 14 for pushing the banknotes towards the bottom 15 of the container 11, of a holder 16 of the banknotes once inserted in the bag, which is placed below the container 11 and is vertically movable by means of controlled lowering device 17 (advantageously compression springs), and sealing bars 18 disposed between the container 11 and the movable support 16 and designed to seal the mouth of the bag once filling is complete. [0023] The bag 13 is advantageously of the disposable type, made of flexible plastic film. [0024] The device is designed to be contained in known machines (not shown in the drawings attached here) for storing banknotes normally present in banks, supermarkets and shopping centers ("shopping centers"), or the like. For the sake of simplicity of verbiage, reference is made here to banknotes, but the device according to the invention can also be used to process and manipulate other paper documents in sheet form. [0025] The bottom 15 of the container 11 is provided with an opening 19 aligned with the piston 14 for the passage of banknotes from the interior space 20 of the upper container 11 to the movable support 16. The opening 19 has a section of passage smaller than the surface of the bank cells, so that the bank cells not pushed by the piston 14 are held in the interior space 20 of the container 11, resting their peripheral portions on the sides of the opening 19. [0026] The mobile support 16 may advantageously have an upper plane 21 for resting the stacked banknotes introduced in the bag with interposition of the bag itself, and side walls 22 that extend below said upper plane 21. [0027] In the mode illustrated in the Figures, the mobile support 16 has, in the upper plane 21, a central slot 23 open at the top towards the container 11, and which extends vertically through the support body 16, in which the empty bag , which hangs above the container 11, is inserted with its "tail" 24 (i.e. the portion close to its closed bottom) as seen in Figure 1. Advantageously, the slit 23 is a hollow slit, which also opens at the bottom to allow easy insertion of bags, regardless of their length. [0028] The bag 13 can, for example, be restrained with the edges of its mouth to fastening pins 25 arranged laterally to the container 11 in proximity to the opening 19 in its bottom 15. The bag, however, could also be supported by the container 11, rolled up on the outside of its side walls with a plurality of folds, which constitute a reserve for stretching and opening the bag during successive steps of filling with banknotes, progressively when the banknotes themselves are introduced in the bag, and the lower support 16 lowers against the action of the springs 17. According to the invention, the device 10 is provided with an electromagnetic stop element 26 for locking the mobile support 16 of the banknotes with respect to the fixed structure of the machine and, in particular, in relation to the sealing bars. [0029] As can be seen in detail in Figures 9 and 10, the electromagnetic stop element 26 consists of an electromagnet 27 applied to the mobile support 16 for banknotes, and a fixed element 28 made of ferromagnetic material, adapted to face the electromagnet 27 in operational condition. Advantageously, the ferromagnetic element 28 consists of a plane or a strip that extends vertically along the section operated by the movable element 16, as can be seen in the Figures. [0030] The electromagnet 27 is housed in a seat 29 defined by a support 30 fixed to the mobile support 16 on a side wall 22 thereof. The seat 29 is open towards the outside of the mobile support 16, in the direction of the plane made of material ferromagnetic 28. [0031] The electromagnet 27 is fixed to the support 16 by means of a pin 31, passing through a hole 32 in the support 30, to be movable relative to the support 16 in the direction of the plane made of ferromagnetic material 28. [0032] In particular, according to the configuration illustrated here, the electromagnet 27 with its pin 31 are movable horizontally with respect to the support 30 and the support 16 and fixedly connected, in the vertical direction, with respect to a fixed slide 33a to the support 16 and able to slide vertically on a guide 33b fixedly connected to the fixed frame of the machine (and therefore fixed relative to the plane made of ferromagnetic material 28). [0033] A compression spring 34 is disposed on the pin 31 between its head 35 and the surface of the support around the hole 32 to normally, in non-operational condition, keep the electromagnet 27 retracted inside the seat 29, as shown in Figure 9. [0034] A suitable electrical connection 36 connects the electromagnet 27 with a control unit 37 to supply the electromagnet when it is required to lock the movable holder 16 of the banknotes. [0035] In particular, when it is required to lock the mobile holder 16 of the banknotes, the control unit 37 supplies electrical energy to the electromagnet 27. The magnetic field that is thus generated produces an attractive force between the electromagnet 27 and the plane Fixture made of ferromagnetic material 28 that faces the electromagnet. This force, being greater than the force of the contrast spring 34, causes the movement of the electromagnet 27 towards the fixed plane 28, as shown in Figure 10. [0036] In this operational condition, the electromagnet 27 and the ferromagnetic plane 28 are reciprocally attracted by a force directed perpendicularly to the respective contact surfaces and, therefore, perpendicularly to the vertical movement direction of the mobile holder 16 of the banknotes. The friction between the surfaces of the electromagnet and the ferromagnetic plane consequently generates a locking force directed parallel to the surfaces themselves and thus parallel to the aforementioned direction of vertical movement of the mobile holder 16 of banknotes. [0037] The intensity of the excitation current of the electromagnet should naturally be selected so that the locking force is greater than the force of the spring 17 that tends to lift the support 16 in any condition of loading the bag. In this way, the support 16, and in particular the plane 21 on which the bag containing the bank notes rests, can remain immobile in the desired position. [0038] Once the electromagnet 27 has its power supply disconnected, the attraction force with the ferromagnetic plane 28 ceases and the spring 34 pulls the electromagnet back into the seat 29, in the position of Figure 9, and the support 16 you are now free to move vertically again. [0039] With the help of the attached Figures, an operational sequence of loading the banknotes into the bag and closing the bag itself will now be briefly described. [0040] In Figure 1, the device for filling and closing bags according to the invention is illustrated at the moment when the piston 14 exerts a downward pressure on a bundle of banknotes 12, such as to push the banknotes themselves to insert with a central portion thereof in the opening 19 of the bottom 15 of the container 11 until they come into contact with the upper plane 21 of the mobile support 16 with interposition of the plastic film that forms the bag. In this step, the banknotes deform as illustrated in the Figure, to be able to exit the container 11 through the opening 19, and the bag widens through the action of the buoyancy exerted by the banknotes. [0041] After a plurality of operations like that illustrated in Figure 1, all banknotes are introduced in the bag 13 to the desired capacity supported by the plane 21 of the support 16 which, meanwhile, has lowered against the action of the pushing springs 17. [0042] In the specific mode of support 16 illustrated here, the enlargement of the bag due to the increase in the number of banknotes contained therein also causes a shrinkage of it in relation to the original condition that is evidenced in a rise of its tail 24 at the same time in absolute terms with respect to the fixed parts of the device, and in relative terms with respect to the mobile support 16. [0043] In this condition, the mobile support 16 is pushed up by the springs 17 and the bag banknotes 11 are kept compacted between the plane 21 of the mobile support 16 and the protective plates 38 of the sealing bars 18 (Figure 2) . [0044] At this point, once filling of the bag is completed, the closing step can begin. The piston 14 is lowered as illustrated in Figure 3, so as to withdraw the banknotes from the protective plates 38 of the sealing bars with a corresponding lowering of the movable support 16 against the action of the springs 17. [0045] Advantageously, a first partial advance of the sealing bars can also be performed (Figure 4) in order to "recover" some of the plastic material that forms the bag, to reduce the tension of the film in the subsequent sealing step . [0046] The movable support 16 is at a height that allows the banknotes in the upper portion of the bag to be sufficiently spaced from the protective plates of the sealing bars. The control unit 37 now supplies the electromagnet 27 through the electrical connection 36. The magnetic field thus generated produces an attractive force between the electromagnet 27 and the fixed plane made of ferromagnetic material 28, causing the electromagnet to move against the spring action of contrast 34 in the direction of the fixed plane 28, as shown in Figure 5. [0047] In this condition, the movable support 16 is locked at the desired height, and the piston 14 can be lifted (Figure 6) to move away from the sealing area, still keeping the bank notes in the upper portion of the bag sufficiently spaced from the protective plates of the sealing bars. [0048] At this point, the sealing bars 18 are partially closed (as illustrated in Figure 7, leaving a distance of a few millimeters between the two bars), advantageously, with alternating partial advances of the right bar and the left bar , in order to "recover" even more of the plastic material that makes up the bag, reducing the deformation of the film: sealing plastic bags that are thin with a very tight film could, in fact, cause it to break immediately . [0049] Thanks to the fact that the banknotes in the upper portion of the bag are spaced apart from the protective plates of the sealing bars, and also thanks to the provision to partially advance the two bars alternately, the movement of the bars is prevented from pulling the top banknotes between the bars, or even making them come out of the top of the bag. [0050] The electromagnet 27 can now have its power supply disconnected, so that the movable support 16 rises, compacting the banknotes in the bag against the protective plates 38 (Figure 8) while the sealing bars 18 are completely closed and electrically supplied to carry out the final sealing of the bag. [0051] At this point, it is clear how the device for filling and closing bags according to the invention is able to achieve the stated purposes. At least partially closing the sealing bars while keeping the banknotes in the upper portion of the bag spaced apart from the protective plates of the sealing bars, in fact, effectively makes it possible to prevent the first banknotes in the stack from being pulled between the bars themselves by its forward movement. [0052] The use of an electromagnetic stop element to lock the banknote support plane in the bag at the desired height before closing the sealing bars makes it possible to obtain this machine functionality in a simple, cost-effective manner It is reliable, with no expensive and bulky moving mechanical parts, and makes it possible to achieve fully automated management of the various stages of the bag filling and closing process directly from the control unit. [0053] Of course, the above description of an embodiment that applies the innovative principles of the present invention is provided only as an example of such innovative principles and therefore should not be taken to limit the scope of protection claimed here. [0054] For example, if so desired, the device can have other sealing elements 39, arranged below in the slot 23 in the mobile support body 16 to perform sealing in proximity to the tail 24 of the bag, to optimize the internal space available for the introduction of bank notes. The actuation of these other sealing elements can take place at an appropriate time in the bag filling process. For example, in the illustrated Figures, the performance of these sealing elements is shown in the step of Figure 2. [0055] Of course, it is also possible to provide a simpler structure of the support device of the bag containing the banknotes, for example, without the slot 23 or even with a simple upper support plane in the plane 21, directly pushed by the springs 17 In this case, the support plane could be equipped with a side wall or attachment that extends below it to support the electromagnet. [0056] Finally, springs 17, illustrated here as compression springs, could also be tension springs.
