RELATED REQUESTS [001] This application is related to the co-pending serial number 29/493,694, filed together, the contents of which are incorporated herein by reference. DECLARATION REGARDING THE RESEARCH SPONSORED BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT [002] Not applicable FUNDAMENTALS OF THE INVENTION [003] The present invention generally relates to liquid storage containers with a dispensing spout. More particularly, the invention relates to a container for receiving a liquid and/or granular material, such as a powder, with a spout and a splash-proof lid. This container will have a spout and a cap for opening and closing the spout, the cap including a splash guide to cause any content residue (liquid or powder) in the cap to be directed to the spout when the cap is opened to do with that the drops on the lid go into the container; that is, avoid unwanted splashing on the container. Additionally, the invention relates to a food mixer with separate measuring devices for measuring two liquid and/or granular materials. [004] The invention further includes a mixing device including two separate mixing devices combined as a unit that can be used to measure volumes of liquids and granular material such as powder. [005] Container with spouts are well known, and it is also well known to provide a lid to close the spout. Examples include liquid laundry detergent containers, pancake syrup containers or bottles, oil containers (cooking, lubricant, etc.), sauce bottles (such as soy sauce), dry powder seasoning containers, etc. While the present invention may have application in any such use, it will be described in the scenario of a mixer. Mixers, such as food mixers and mixing devices, are known. Measuring devices are known in general. Known food mixers include a container into which a user pours both a liquid and a powder, which the user has measured using a separate device, or powder pack, for example. Such known devices all have drawbacks, such as difficulty in use, cleanliness and lack of versatility. Some known mixers include parts to assist in mixing the liquid and powder, such as one or more mixing balls that move around the closed mixer to improve the mixing process. There are known mixers in which a base is provided only to measure a liquid volume of a liquid put into the base by a user. Some mixers include a base on which there are indicative lines indicating different volumes of liquid. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION [006] An objective of the present invention is to provide a container with a splash proof lid, such as a food mixer, which overcomes the drawbacks of the prior technology. [007] Another objective of the present invention is to provide a container, such as a food mixer, which is easier to use, has a base and a cover, the container suitable for receiving and measuring a liquid or powder, and a cover particularly suitable for receiving and measuring a liquid or granular material such as a powder. [008] A further objective of the present invention is to provide a container with a splash-proof lid, such as a food mixer, for mixing liquids and powders and which reduces unwanted splashing on the outside of the food mixer, or on a food mixer surface. food preparation. [009] Also another objective of the present invention is to provide a food mixer that is suitable for measuring and beating liquids and granular materials such as powders, and with multiple measuring devices for measuring such liquids and powders. [0010] Another object of the invention is to provide a measuring device that includes two separate measuring components, particularly suitable for measuring a liquid and/or granular material, respectively. [0011] These and other goals are achieved by a container with a splash proof lid and a measuring device that provide improved features. [0012] Briefly, the invention is directed to a container with a splash-proof lid to prevent uncontrolled splashing of a liquid and to direct residue in a lid back to the container when the lid is open. [0013] The invention similarly includes a measuring device for measuring two or more liquid or dry ingredients, such as providing volume measuring indicators on a cover for a container, as well as on the base. The measuring device can be a simple measuring device that measures two or more liquids or dry materials, and which can be configured to mix the measured materials together in the same measuring device. [0014] Relative terms such as left, right, up and down are for convenience only, and should not be limiting. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS [0015] The objects and features of the invention noted above are explained in more detail with reference to the drawings, in which like reference numbers denote like elements, and in which: [0016] FIG. 1 is a top front perspective view of the container in accordance with the present invention in the operative configuration. [0017] FIG. 2 is an exploded view of the container of FIG. 1. [0018] FIG. 3 is a top plan view of the container of FIG. 1. [0019] FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view taken along line 44 of FIG. 3 showing the lid in its closed position. [0020] FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view similar to FIG. 4 showing the lid in its open position. [0021] FIG. 6 is a detailed view of the closed position of the lid of FIG. 4. [0022] FIG. 7 is a detailed view of the open position of the lid of FIG. 5. [0023] FIG. 8 is an enlarged cross-sectional view taken along line 8-8 of FIG. 4. [0024] FIG. 9 is a perspective view showing the cover in an operative position to measure a material. [0025] FIG. 10 is a top perspective view showing a liquid in the lid being directed by the guide device into the container. [0026] FIG. 11 is a cross-sectional view showing the container in a storage position. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [0027] FIGS. 1-11 illustrate an embodiment of a container with a splash proof lid 10 that includes a spout 30 for discharging the contents of the container. The contents can be liquid, granular, powder or a mixture of these, but they must certainly be fluid in such a way that dispensing by flow through the nozzle is possible. [0028] The container 10 includes a lid 40 provided for the nozzle 30, the lid 40 pivoting (typically manually) between a closed position 44, in which the lid prevents material from being dumped by the nozzle 30, and an open position 48, in the which a material can be discharged from the container 10 by the spout. [0029] There is similarly a guide device 50 provided on an inner face 42 of the cap 40. As best shown in FIG. 4, the guide device 50 is placed on the inner face 42 so as to be received within the spout 30 when the cap is in the closed position 44. Additionally, the outer face of the guide device 50 is dimensioned and shaped to comfortably fit the inner walls of the spout 30, and seal against them, when in this same closed position 44. As can be seen, if the container 10 is tilted, the contents that can flow onto the spout will actually flow onto the guide device 50 and then against the inner face 42 of the cap 40 (within the limits of the guide device 50). As such, when the container is brought upright again, any residual liquid (or powder) content 55 present on the inner face 42 will remain and will only be present within the confines of the guide device 50. The guide device 50 is configured to guide a or more drops 51 and 53 of the residual liquid (or powder) 55 in the lid to the nozzle 30 and thence to the container 20 when the lid 40 is in the open position 48. [0030] The guide device 50 may include an extension 54 with an angled portion 58 to concentrate the liquid directed from the inner face 42 to the nozzle 30. In particular, the free edge of the extension 54 will be located above, and on the periphery, of the nozzle 30 when cap 40 is in the open position 48. As best seen with reference to FIGS. 5 and 10, the angled part 58 further guides and directs liquid 55 into the container 10. Part of the liquid 55 will drip out of the guide device 50 in the form of drops 51, 53, as shown in FIG. 5. [0031] The container 10 can be a single unit, or it can be formed in several pieces. In the blender mode shown, the container 10 is formed with a cup-shaped base 20 having an open top 60, extensions 64 and 66 and lower end 70, along with a cover 80 that can be attached to the open top 60, and cover the same, as will be readily understood, to keep the liquid in the container 10 during use, without loss of the liquid from the container 10 during mixing, such as by shaking the container 10, and pouring the liquid through the nozzle 30 into an additional receptacle, such as a user cup. Cover 80 can be securely attached and sealed to base 20 on open top 60, as is well known. Permanent welding, removable screw connections, and a resilient notch seal are all examples that can be used to secure the cover. [0032] It is further contemplated that the nozzle 30 may be located on the cover 80, as shown, for ease of use and cleaning, as will be explained in detail below. [0033] To increase the versatility of the container 10 as a mixer, a series of metering indicators 104 can be provided on the base 20 so that a user can measure a desired volume of a liquid, or, indeed, a granular material, such as as a powder to be mixed with a liquid. As a further feature of the present invention, the cover 80 may be formed in a dome shape, and may include metering indicators 108. These metering indicators 108 are inverted such that they are operative when the cover 80 itself is inverted. In that case, the user would close cap 40 to seal and close spout 30, remove cap 80 from base 20, turn cap 80 over, as shown in FIG. 9, and then measure a desired volume of material, such as a powder, using additional gauge gauges 108. Gauge gauges can be marked in ounces (oz.), millimeters (mL), or both, as shown. Measuring indicators 108 and/or 108 may be formed on the inside (preferred if the container 10 is formed of an opaque material) or outside (if the container is translucent or transparent). [0034] A mixing device 90 with numerous pallets 92, and openings 96, 98 can be provided to improve mixing of liquids and solids in use. Mixing device 90 can be seated on extensions 64 and 66, in use, as will be readily understood. It is understood that the mixing device 90 can be inverted and used to improve the preparation of juices from pieces of fruit, such as lemon or orange. A separate juice apparatus for the purpose may similarly be provided. [0035] It is further contemplated that the nozzle 30 may be located on the cover 80 for ease of use and cleaning, as shown. [0036] A handle 114 in the form of a tab may be provided on the cover 80 to assist in the removal of the cover 80 from the base 20. [0037] As noted, in the open position 48, the free edge of the extension 54 will be located above and on the periphery of the nozzle 30. For manually pivoted covers 40, it is desirable to assist the user in obtaining this proper open position (and avoid overflowing -rotation). A stop 120 to stop the rotation of the lid 40 in its open position 48 can be provided for this purpose. In addition to merely preventing further rotation of the lid 40 beyond the proper open position, this stop 120 may also act to hold the lid in the open position 48, against unintended movement back to the closed position to maintain the lid 40 in its open position 48 so that it does not interfere with the discharge of a liquid from container 10 through spout 30 in use. Stop 102 is shown in detail in FIGS. 5-8, for example. Stop 120 may include a female part 124, in the form of a trunnion, for example, and a male part 128, in the form of a pin or shaft. Trunnion 124 may include a pin receiving portion shaped with a surface 132 to mate with an outer surface 136 of the pin 124. The outer surface 136 may include a chamfered face 138 which impinges on a corresponding angled portion 148 of the surface 132. shown in FIGS. 4 and 6, the stop 120 is in its closed position and secured in its closed position by the extension 54 with one or more extension portions 162 and 164 that can be configured to match and secure the cap 40 in its closed position on the spout 30, such as by the engaging parts 172 and 174 of the nozzle 30, respectively. Other arrangements that provide the same effect could also be employed. [0038] FIG. 7 shows the lid 40 in its open stop position of FIG. 5, in which the angled or chamfered face 138 has abutted the face 148 of the pin 124. A stop 184 in the form of an extension or pin 124 may be provided to support and engage a recess 194 in the trunnion 124, as best seen in FIGS. 5 and 7, for example. The engagement between extension 184 and recess 194 assists in stopping and retaining cover 40 in its desired open position 48. Again, other arrangements that provide the same effect could be employed. [0039] From the foregoing, it is clear that this invention is well adapted to achieve all the purposes and objectives presented here along with other advantages that are inherent in its structure. [0040] It is understood that certain features and subcombinations are useful and may be employed without reference to other features and subcombinations. This is covered by the claims and is within its scope. [0041] Since many possible embodiments of the invention can be made without departing from its scope, it should be understood that all matter presented here from what is shown in the attached drawings should be interpreted as illustrative, and not in a limiting sense.
