Setting device for a grindstone of a grinder of a chopper and method for setting a grindstone
The invention relates to a setting device for a grindstone of a grinding device of a chaff and a shredder with such an adjustment. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for setting a grindstone of a grinding device of a chopper with such an adjustment.
From DE 41 28 483 C2 a grinding device for chopping a chopping unit of an agricultural harvester is known. The known from this prior art grinding device has a grinding carriage which is displaceable along a housing-fixed guide parallel to a rotation axis of the chopping blade carrying chopper drum of the chopper, which is rotatably mounted on a housing of Häckselwerks. On the grinding carriage, a grindstone is releasably fixed in a grinding stone bushing. The grindstone is about a likewise mounted on the grinding carriage spindle and a likewise mounted on the grinding carriage and cooperating with the spindle ratchet wheel radially to the axis of rotation of the cutter on the chopping blades of Häckseltrommel adjustable, in conjunction with mounted on the housing wall of the housing of the chaff, attacks, which interact with the ratchet wheel mounted on the carriage. Then, when the grinding carriage moves in its movement along the housing-fixed guide parallel to the axis of rotation of the cutterhead towards a housing-fixed stop, such a stop comes into engagement with the ratchet, whereby the ratchet wheel and thus the cooperating with the ratchet spindle is rotated. The rotational movement of the ratchet wheel and the spindle is converted by the spindle into a linear movement of the grindstone bushing and the grindstone in the radial direction of the chopper drum, so as ultimately to set the grindstone radially to the axis of rotation of the chopper drum on the chopping blades.
This automatic adjustment of the grindstone by the known from the prior art interaction of the respective housing fixed stop with the ratchet wheel mounted on the grinding carriage and also mounted on the grinding carriage and cooperating with the grindstone bushing and thus with the grindstone spindle has its limits. The grindstone bush can only be relocated to a limited extent. Therefore, it is necessary to reset or reset the grinding stone bushing in defined maintenance intervals and thus to align the grindstone again on the chopping blades or the chopper drum of the chopper plant. This is also necessary when a grindstone needs to be changed or when the chopper drum is loaded with new or other knives.
In practice, aligning a grindstone to the chopper drum or to the chopper blades of the chopper drum is particularly troublesome when returning the grindstone bushing. So far, no practicable, simple and reliable alignment of a grindstone to the chopper drum of a chopper knife when returning the grindstone bushing is possible.
On this basis, the present invention has the object, a novel setting device for a grindstone of a grinder of a chopper, which allows a more accurate adjustment of the grindstone in particular when resetting the Schleifsteinbuchse, and a method for adjusting a grindstone a grinding device of a chopping unit with such an adjustment to create.
This object is achieved by an adjusting device according to claim 1.
The adjusting device according to the invention has a guide sleeve, via a guided in a recess of the guide sleeve via co-operating screw adjusting screw, which is engageable with a recorded in the grindstone socket grindstone end facing the grindstone.
According to a further development, a plunger guided in a recess of the adjusting screw is provided, which can be pressed against the grindstone via a spring element likewise guided in the recess of the adjusting screw with an end protruding from the adjusting screw and facing the grindstone.
The invention allows a practicable, simple and reliable alignment of a grindstone on chopper blades of a chopper drum, in particular when resetting the grindstone bush, as e.g. when installing new blades is required. Incorrect settings are prevented, which reduces the susceptibility to wear. In particular, by avoiding incorrect settings of the grindstone, a collision of the chopper blades with the grindstone and a related risk of damage to the chopper blades and the grindstone are avoided. The adjustment device according to the invention enables accurate adjustment and alignment of the grindstone to the chopper blades, so that ultimately fewer grinding cycles are required until the grindstone again has contact with the chopper blades.
Preferably, an internal thread is formed in the recess of the guide sleeve, which cooperates with an external thread of a guided in the recess of the guide sleeve portion of the adjusting screw. This allows a particularly advantageous adjusting the set screw to the grindstone.
According to a development, a stop is formed in the recess of the adjusting screw, which limits the displaceability of the guided in the recess of the guide sleeve plunger in the direction of the grindstone. In this way, a defined distance between the engageable with the grindstone end of the screw and the engageable with the grindstone end of the plunger can be adjusted, whereby a particularly vorteilhaf te setting and thus alignment of the grindstone can be made.
According to a further development, a stop for basic adjustment of the adjusting device is formed on a change of chopping blades of the chopper work on an outer portion of the screw. This stop is particularly advantageous when new chopping blades are installed on the chopper drum, which lead to a predetermined outer diameter of the chopper drum. As a result, a defined basic setting of the grindstone to new chopping knives can be guaranteed.
The inventive method for adjusting a grindstone of a grinding device of a chopper with an adjustment is defined in claim 6.
A chopping plant with such a setting device is defined in claim 8.

A shredder of an agricultural harvester has a chopper drum with chopping knives. The chopping blades of the chopper drum must be reground during operation, for which the chopper has a grinding device.
The grinding device has a grindstone. The grindstone must be aligned with the chopping knives of the chopper drum. The invention relates to a setting device for the grindstone of a grinding device of a chaff.
Fig. 1 shows a section of a chopper 10 of an agricultural harvester in the field of a chopper drum 11 and a grinding device 12. The chopper drum 11 is rotatably mounted on a housing 13 of the chopper 10, via shaft portions 14 of the chopper drum 11. Radial on the outside carries Chopping drum 11 Chopping blade 15. The chopping blades 15 of the chopper drum 11 are used for the comminution of crops.
The chopping blades 15 of the chopper drum 11 of the chopper 10 must be reground during operation, to which the grinding device 12 is used. The grinding device 12 has a grinding carriage 16 which receives a grindstone 17, namely a grindstone bushing 38 in which the grindstone 17 is releasably fixed, the grindstone 17 via the grinding carriage 16 for grinding the chopper blades 15 parallel to a rotation axis 18 of the chopper drum 11 can be displaced along a guide 19.
When grinding the chopping blade 15 of the cutterhead 11, the chopper drum 11 is driven in rotation and the grindstone 17 parallel to
Rotary axis 18 along the guide 19 from the grinding carriage 16 moves. By grinding the chopping blades 15, the distance between the chopping blades 15 and the grindstone 17 changes during grinding.
To compensate for this, it is already known from the practice during the grinding process by cooperating with the grinding carriage 16, fixed to the housing stops (not shown) to automatically set the grindstone 17 on the Schleifsteinbuchse 38 with respect to the chopper 15. In this case, the housing-fixed stops typically interact with a ratchet wheel (not shown) and a spindle (not shown) which are mounted together with the grindstone 17 on the grinding carriage 16. This automatic adjustment is known in principle from the prior art and not the subject of the present invention.
The known from the prior art automatic adjustment of the grindstone 17 relative to the chopper blades 15 of the cutterhead 11 during the grinding process has limits.
It is therefore necessary to reset the grindstone bushing 38 in defined maintenance intervals and then align the grindstone 17 with respect to the chopper drum 11 or the chopper knives 15 of the chopper drum 11 in order to always accurately regrind the chopper knives 15 within a short time without risk of damage to the chopper knives 15 and 15 to allow the grindstone 17.
The present invention relates to an adjustment device 20, by means of which the grindstone 17 outside a grinding operation of the chopper 15 practical, simple and reliable with respect to the chopper drum 11 and the chopper 15 can be aligned to either after a defined number of grinding operations at Reaching the limit of the automatic readjustment or even when changing the grindstone 17 or when changing knives the grindstone 17 realign.
The adjusting device 20 preferably has a holder 21 fastened to the housing 13 of the chopper unit 10. The actual adjusting device 20 is mounted on the housing 13 of the chopper unit 10 via the holder 21.
Furthermore, the adjusting device 20 has a guide sleeve 22 fastened to the holder 21. In addition, the adjusting device 12 has a guided in a recess 23 of the guide sleeve 22 adjusting screw 24 which can be made with a grinding stone 17 facing the end 25 of the grindstone 17. The grindstone 17 is detachably mounted in the grindstone bushing 38 of the grinding carriage 16.
As already stated, the adjusting screw 24 is displaceably guided in the recess 23 of the sleeve 22, wherein in the recess 23 of the sleeve 22, an internal thread 26 and the adjusting screw 24, an external thread 27 is formed, and wherein the internal thread 26 of the guide sleeve 22 with the External thread 27 of the adjusting screw 24 cooperates. By turning the adjusting screw 24 in the guide sleeve 22, the adjusting screw 24 with the grinding stone 17 facing the end 25 depending on the direction of rotation either further hired on the grindstone 17 or be turned off by the grindstone 17.
In addition, the adjusting device 12 has a plunger 28 which is guided in a recess 29 of the adjusting screw 24, wherein in the recess 29 of the adjusting screw 24 not only the plunger 28, but beyond a spring element 30 is received. The guided in the screw 24 plunger 28 can be pressed via the spring element 30 with a grinding stone 17 facing the end 31 against the grindstone 17. The spring element 30 pushes the end 31 of the plunger 28 out of the recess 29 of the adjusting screw 24.
The spring element 30 of the adjusting device 20 is supported on the one hand on the plunger 28 and on the other hand on a likewise sectionally projecting into the recess 29 of the adjusting screw 24 support member 32, wherein the support member 32 at a remote from the grindstone 17 end 33 of the adjusting screw 24 in the recess 29 thereof is screwed in sections. For this purpose, an internal thread 34, which is formed in sections on the recess 29 of the adjusting screw 24, cooperates with an external thread 35 of the supporting element 32.
In the region of the recess 29 of the adjusting screw 24, in which the spring element 30 and in particular also the plunger 28 is positioned, no such internal thread is formed. The plunger 28 is linearly displaceable over the spring element 30, namely such that the spring force of the spring element 30 pushes out the plunger with the grindstone 17 facing end 31 of the recess 29 of the adjusting screw 24, and wherein this end 31 of the plunger 28 against the spring force of the spring element 30 into the recess 29 of the screw 24 is hineindrückbar.
In the region of the recess 29 of the adjusting screw 24, a stop 36 is formed in a region facing the grindstone 17 which limits the displaceability of the plunger 28 in the direction of the grindstone 17. Then, when the adjusting device 12 according to the invention, as shown in Fig. 2 and 7, is not employed on the grindstone 17, and the spring element 30 pushes the plunger 28 against the stop 36, is a defined distance Δχ between the end facing the grindstone 25th set the adjusting screw 24 and the grinding stone 17 facing the end 31 of the plunger 28.
In order to precisely align a grinding stone 17 with the setting device 20 according to the invention, the procedure is such that the setting device 20 is first transferred from the position shown in FIG. 2 into the position shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, to which the adjusting screw 24 relative to the guide sleeve 22 twisted and with the end 25, which faces the grindstone 17, is brought into abutment against the grindstone 17, in which case the plunger 28 is displaced against the spring force of the spring element 30 in the recess 29 of the adjusting screw 24, so far until the two ends 25 and 31 of adjusting screw 24 and plunger 28 are flush with each other and flush with the grindstone 17 abut.
Subsequently, the grindstone 17 is released in the grindstone bush 38, wherein in particular after a reset or resetting the grindstone bushing 38 the same grindstone or a new grindstone in the grindstone bushing 38 is aligned such that although the grindstone 17 facing the end 21 of the plunger 28 of the adjustment 20 but not the grindstone 17 facing the end 25 of the adjusting screw 24 of the adjusting device 20 abuts the grindstone 17. This relative position of grindstone 17, plunger 28 and adjusting screw 24 are shown in FIGS. 5 and 6.
When inserting or aligning the grindstone 17 with dissolved grinding stone bushing 38 thus forms a defined gap between the grindstone 17 and the grinding stone 17 facing the end 25 of the adjusting screw 24. The gap corresponds to the dimension shown in Fig. 7 Δχ, ie the distance between the grinding stone 17 facing the end 25 of the adjusting screw 24 and the grindstone 17 facing end 31 of the plunger 28, via the spring force of the spring member 30 against the grindstone 17 and against the stopper 36 presses.
Subsequently, the grindstone 17 is clamped in the grindstone bushing 38, wherein when closing this clamping the grindstone 17 in the grindstone bush 38 is displaced by the dimension Δχ towards the end 25 of the adjusting screw 24. The dimension of the dimension Δχ depends on the grindstone bushing 38, the grindstone 17 and / or tolerances. About the holder 21 guide sleeve 23, screw 24, plunger 28 and spring element 30 are held and permanently attached to the housing 13 of the chopper 10. About the screw 24, the actual position of a grindstone 17 can be removed before loosening the Schleifsteinbuchse 38, in such a way that the screw 24 is displaced in the direction of the grindstone 17 that the ends 25 and 31 of screw 24 and plunger 28 both lie flush against the grindstone 17. Subsequently, the grindstone bushing 38 is released and reset the same. Subsequently, the grindstone 17 is aligned defined, in such a way that the grindstone 17 at the end 31 of the plunger 28 comes to rest, but not at the end 25 of the screw 24. Then the grindstone socket 38 is closed again and the grindstone clamped in the Schleifsteinbuchse 38 become. Subsequently, the adjusting device 20 is displaced into the position shown in Fig. 2, namely, characterized in that the adjusting screw 24 is turned off by the grindstone 17.
When using Schleifsteinbuchsen 38, which cause no displacement of the grindstone 17 when closing the clamp, can be dispensed with the plunger 28. In this case, the position of the grindstone 17 before repositioning or replacement - as before - by turning the screw 24 until the end 25 comes to the grindstone 17 comes to rest. Subsequently, the grindstone 17 is released in the grindstone bushing 38, wherein after resetting or resetting the grindstone bushing 38, the same grindstone 17 or a new grindstone 17 is aligned in the grindstone bush 38 so that the grindstone 17 facing end 25 of the adjusting screw 24 of the adjustment 20 abuts the grindstone 17. Finally, the grindstone 17 is clamped in the grindstone bush 38 by activating the clamp.
On the adjusting screw 24, a stop 37 is formed radially outwardly according to FIG. 7 on a region remote from the grinding stone 17. This stop 37 serves the basic orientation of the setting device 20 for the installation of new chopping blades 15 on the cutterhead 11. About this stop 37, the adjusting device 20 can be aligned to the axis of rotation 15 of the cutterhead 11 aligned.
Before the removal of knives, which are to be re-installed later, the position of the grindstone by turning the screw 24 until the end 25 comes to the grindstone 17 comes to rest or determined. In order for the adjusting screw 24 to be adjusted again later, a relative dimension of the adjusting screw 24 with respect to the grinding stone bush 38 or e.g. the distance between the stop 37 and the guide sleeve 22 are measured and noted.
