专利说明:

Children's bicycle seat.
The present invention relates to a bicycle seat for children.
There are many types of bicycle seats, one more sophisticated than the other.
During the design of all these known types of bicycle seats, only the transport of the child has been taken into account and should be done in the most comfortable and safe way.
In practice, however, such a bicycle seat is often used by parents who bring their child to school by bicycle or who want to take a trip during leisure time.
This usually does not only involve transporting the child, but also items such as a bookbag, a handbag, groceries, provisions, toys, a repair kit with a bicycle pump and stickers and so on.
For the transport of such objects, for example, there are bicycle bags, but these existing bicycle bags are generally not compatible with a bicycle seat and therefore cannot usually be mounted on the bicycle together with the bicycle seat.
Additional objects are therefore often hung in bags on the handlebars, which leads to a rather unstable driving behavior with all the consequences for the safety of both the driver of the bicycle and the child.
In the exceptional cases where the bicycle bags can be mounted on the bicycle together with the bicycle seat, this installation is often very inconvenient.
Usually a certain sequence must be observed during assembly, whereby the bicycle bags are first hung on a luggage carrier and the bicycle seat can then be mounted afterwards.
Moreover, removing the bicycle bags is usually not possible without first removing the bicycle seat, and removing the bicycle bags per se is also far from handy.
The present invention therefore has for its object to provide a solution to the aforementioned and / or other disadvantages.
To this end, the present invention relates to a bicycle seat for children, wherein the bicycle seat is provided with at least one storage space intended for transporting objects such as a bicycle helmet, handbag or groceries with a bicycle, the at least one storage space being an integral part of the bicycle seat or wherein releasable attachment means are provided on the bicycle seat with which the at least one storage space can be directly attached to the bicycle seat and can be disconnected from the bicycle seat.
A major advantage of such a bicycle seat according to the invention is that the bicycle seat itself is provided with a storage space which is either an integral part of the bicycle seat or which can be attached to the bicycle seat, so that no problems with regard to the compatibility of the storage space and the bicycle seat are possible. is.
If the storage space is an integral part of the bicycle seat, it is sufficient to mount the bicycle seat on the bicycle and therefore no further assembly is required for the storage space.
In the case that the storage space can be attached to and removed from the bicycle seat, it is of course the intention to make these operations as simple as possible, as will be further demonstrated, so that a user can easily adjust the storage space to the bicycle seat or as desired. back from the bicycle seat.
According to a preferred embodiment of a bicycle seat according to the invention, the at least one storage space is designed as a backpack, bag or bicycle bag that can be attached to the bicycle seat with the attachment means.
This embodiment of a bicycle seat according to the invention is extremely useful since the backpack, bag or bicycle bag can be used as the cover in which the objects can be carried, for example as a handbag during shopping or as a backpack during a trip and so on Lake.
In yet another interesting embodiment of a bicycle seat according to the invention, the at least one storage space also comprises shielding means which can be stored in the storage space and which can be deployed or unfolded into a shield over a child seated in the bicycle seat in order to shield it against weather influences , such as wind, rain, sun and so on.
Such screening means can simply consist of a rain cap that can be removed from the storage space, but in a more developed embodiment it can be a whole housing that can be unfolded around the child as a sort of tent, the housing possibly being provided with transparent surfaces. that can serve as a window.
The advantages of such a bicycle seat according to the invention are obvious, wherein a permanent presence of the screening means in the storage space offers an additional security for the transport of a child by bicycle.
In yet another embodiment of a bicycle seat according to the invention, at least two storage spaces are provided which are arranged or can be arranged on either side of the bicycle seat.
Such an embodiment of a bicycle seat according to the invention offers numerous advantages, of course because a large volume is available for storing objects, but also for realizing screening means as has already been provided above.
With the insight to better demonstrate the characteristics of the invention, a few preferred embodiments of a bicycle seat according to the invention are described below as an example without any limiting character, with reference to the accompanying figures, in which: figure 1 shows a perspective view of a bicycle on which a bicycle seat is mounted according to the invention; figure 2 represents a view according to arrow F2 in perspective and on a larger scale of the bicycle seat of figure 1; figure 3 schematically represents a side view according to arrow F3 of the bicycle seat of figure 2 and this in a closed condition of the storage space; figure 4 represents the bicycle seat in a similar way as in figure 3 with the storage space open; figures 5 and 6 show a rear view, respectively, according to arrows F5 and F6 on the bicycle seat in its condition as in figures 3 and 4; figure 7 represents a section through the bicycle seat on a plane indicated by the arrows VII-VII 'in figure 5; figure 8 represents a cross-section comparable to figure 7 of another embodiment of a bicycle seat according to the invention, wherein in particular the storage space is removable; figure 9 represents the same bicycle seat in cross-section as this time in figure 8 in a state where the storage space has been removed from the bicycle seat; figure 10 represents in side view as in figure 3 another embodiment of a bicycle seat according to the invention, in which this time the storage space is designed as a backpack that can be attached to the backrest of the bicycle seat; figure 11 shows the same bicycle seat from figure 10, this time after the backpack has been removed from the backrest; figures 12 and 13 on a larger scale represent the parts indicated by F12 and F13 in figures 10 and 11 respectively; figures 14 and 15 represent side views similar to the side view of figure 10 for another embodiment of a bicycle seat according to the invention, wherein in particular screening means are provided which are respectively stored and deployed in the storage space; figures 14 and 15 schematically show an alternative embodiment of a bicycle seat according to the invention in cross section as in figure 8, wherein different screening means were used than in figures 14 and 15; figure 18 represents a side view as in figure 3 on yet another embodiment of a bicycle seat according to the invention, wherein this time two detachable storage spaces are provided on either side of the bicycle seat; figure 19 represents a rear view according to arrow F19 on the bicycle seat of figure 18, illustrating that the two storage spaces are removable.
Figure 1 shows a bicycle 1 on which a bicycle seat 2 according to the invention is mounted and in which a child 3 is seated.
The bicycle seat 2 is special because it is provided with a storage space 4 with which all kinds of objects can be transported that are often transported with a bicycle 1, such as for example a handbag, a rain cover, groceries, school books and so on.
In the embodiment of figures 2 to 7, the storage space 4 is directly connected to the bicycle seat 2, the storage space 4 being designed as a container 5 which forms an integral part of the bicycle seat 2.
The part 6 of the bicycle seat 2 that serves as a seat 7 or seat 7 for the child 3 is designed like the usual bicycle seats.
This part 6 is herein provided with safety belts 8 and footrests 9.
Safety straps 10 are also provided on the footrests 9 with which the feet 11 of the child 3 can be secured in the footrests 9 for a safe ride.
The bicycle seat 2 is also provided with mounting means 12 for mounting the bicycle seat 2 on the seat tube 13.
In other embodiments, similar mounting means 12 can be used for mounting on a luggage carrier 14 of the bicycle 1 or on a handlebar rod 15 of the bicycle 1, for example in the case of a similar bicycle seat 2 according to the invention at the front of the handlebar 16 of the bicycle 1. being mounted.
In the embodiment of figures 1 to 7 of the bicycle seat 2 according to the invention, the tray 5 is arranged behind the backrest 17 of the seat 7.
The tray 5 is here bounded by a wall 18 formed by the backrest 17 of the seat 7, an opposite wall 19 and two side walls 20 extending in line with the walls 21 forming the handrails 22 of the seat 7.
The tray 5 furthermore has a bottom 23 which extends in line with the bottom 24 of the part 6 that forms the seat 7 of the bicycle seat 2.
In order to be able to close the tray 5, the tray 5 is also provided with a cover 25 which is connected to the backrest 16 via a hinged connection 26.
This cover 25 partially encloses the opposite wall 18 and the side walls 20 and is provided with a closure 27, as is usual for storage spaces 4.
Figures 3 and 5 show the bicycle seat 2, with the lid 25 closing off the tray 5, while in figures 4 and 6 the open condition of the tray 5 is shown, the cover 25 being folded open using the hinged connection 26 and the closure 27.
In order to provide rigidity to the portion 6, as well as to the tray 5, in the shown example of Figures 1 to 7, these portions are made of a sprayed plastic 28, while also leaving large cavities 29 in the portion 6 in order to reduce the weight of the keep bicycle seat 2 as small as possible.
The lid 25 can be manufactured in the same way, but in this case it has been decided to manufacture the lid 25 from a somewhat more flexible material 30, for example from a more flexible plastic or a fabric or the like, in order to open and close the lid. to facilitate container 5.
The seat 7 is upholstered with soft materials, as is usual with the well-known bicycle seats.
The materials used must of course be rainproof.
In figures 8 and 9 an alternative embodiment is illustrated in which this time the bicycle seat 2 according to the invention is provided with a storage space 4 in the form of a bicycle bag or bag 31 which with the aid of releasable attachment means 32 (not shown in detail in this embodiment) can be attached to the bicycle seat 2, which is shown in Figure 8, and can be detached from it again, which is shown in Figure 9.
More specifically, the bag 31 is secured with its rear wall 33 against the rear wall 34 of the backrest 17 of the bicycle seat.
The bag 31 is provided with a handle 35 at the top so that the bag 31 can be easily carried by hand for transporting objects, for example for shopping with the bag 31.
The entire bag 31 is in this case made of a more flexible material 30, while the seat 7 is of identical design as in the previous embodiment.
The releasable attachment means 32 can take various forms.
For example, the bicycle seat 2 can be provided with a. releasable click system with which the storage space 4 can be clicked onto the bicycle seat 2 and can be detached back from the bicycle seat 2.
In other embodiments, it is not excluded, for example, to use buckles and straps or Velcro.
The releasable attachment means 32 can also consist of hooks provided on the bicycle seat 2 which can cooperate with eyelets on the storage space 4.
In yet another embodiment, for example, a bag-shaped part of textile can be provided on a bicycle bag 31 which can be attached over a part of the bicycle seat 2.
There are endless possibilities.
Figures 10 to 13 show yet another embodiment of a bicycle seat 2 according to the invention, wherein the storage space 4 is this time designed as a backpack 36 which can be attached to the backrest 17 of the bicycle seat 2 with releasable attachment means 32, which in In this case, a zipper 37 surrounds the back wall 38 of the backpack 36.
The backpack 36 can be coupled to the bicycle seat 2 by closing the zipper 37, as shown in figures 10 and 12, and by opening the zipper 37 the backpack 36 can be released from the backrest 17 of the bicycle seat, as shown in Figures 11 and 13.
At the top of the backpack 36 a handle 35 is again provided, but in this case the backpack 36 is also provided with carrying straps 38 with which the backpack 36 can be carried on the back.
Figures 14 and 15 show yet another embodiment of bicycle seat 2 according to the invention, which has many similarities with the previous embodiment of Figures 10 to 13, since the storage space 4 is again formed by a backpack 36 which, with the aid of a zipper 37 can be attached to the rear of the backrest 17.
The backpack 36 is in this case slightly higher, with a compartment 39 being provided in the backpack 36 which can for instance be closed with a zipper and which is located behind the head 40 of a child 3 who is seated in the bicycle seat.
In this compartment 39, the backpack 36 is provided with shielding means 41.
These shielding means 41 can be stored in the compartment 39, as is shown in Figure 14, but they can also be deployed or unfolded to form a shield over the child 3 seated in the bicycle seat 2 in order to shield it against weather influences, such as wind, rain, sun and so on, which is shown in Figure 15 by way of example.
In this case the screening means 41 are designed as a rain cap 42 which can be pulled over the head 40 of the child 3.
The storage space 4 can, for example, also be used to fit an airbag in it with the intention of protecting a child 3 seated in the bicycle seat 2 against injuries during an accident with the bicycle 1. To this end, the storage space 4 can be placed at a suitable place on the bicycle seat 2 are provided.
Figures 16 and 17 illustrate yet another embodiment of a bicycle seat 2 according to the invention, this time the storage space 4 is again designed as a rigid container 5 that forms an integral part of the bicycle seat, as was the case in the embodiment of Figures 1 to 7.
In this embodiment of figures 16 and 17, however, shielding means 41 are provided which are designed entirely differently than in the previous embodiment.
In particular, the screening means 41 are designed as a series of shelves 43 which together form the lid 25 of the tray 5 and which are hinged to each other via hinge connections 44.
The boards 43 can hereby be hinged towards each other until they together form the cover 25 to cover the tray 5, which is schematically shown in Figure 16.
On the other hand, the boards 43 can also be hinged apart to form a screen consisting of a roof 45 above the head 40 of a child 3 seated in the bicycle seat 2.
This situation is shown schematically in Figure 17.
It's clear that. this is only a primitive representation of the possibilities for providing screening means 41 on the bicycle seat 2 and that in other embodiments other foldable elements can be used, for instance manufactured from textile, which can be folded into a whole that to a greater or lesser extent forms a cover or shield around the child 3.
Finally, in figures 18 and 19, a final embodiment of a bicycle seat 2 according to the invention is shown, wherein two storage spaces 4 are provided, designed as detachable bicycle bags 46 which are arranged on either side 47 of the bicycle seat 2 or can be arranged against the side edges 21 of the seat 7.
The two bicycle bags 46 are furthermore provided on either side 47 of the bicycle seat 2 under the seat surface 24 of the bicycle seat 2 and adjacent to the footrests 9, but other embodiments with different dimensions and in which the storage spaces 4 are attached to the bicycle seat 2 at other places, are of course not excluded from the invention.
The releasable attachment means 32 in this case consist of rotatable knobs 48 mounted on the walls 21 of the bicycle seat 2 which can interact with holes 49 which are provided with flaps 50 extending from the rear wall 33 of the bicycle bags 46.
Every bicycle bag. 46 is provided in this case with a pair of such flaps 50. "
By turning the knobs 48, the bicycle bags 46 can be locked on the bicycle seat 2 in order to prevent the detachment of the bicycle bags 46, or alternatively a bicycle bag 46 can be correctly unlocked by turning the knobs 48 to the correct position with the intention to disconnect the bicycle bag 46 from the bicycle seat 2.
The invention is in no way limited to the embodiments of a bicycle seat 2 according to the invention described by way of example and illustrated with reference to the figures, but such bicycle seat 2 can be realized in a variety of other ways without departing from the scope of the invention.
