Modular system
The present invention relates to modular systems intended in particular for the arrangement of commercial or industrial spaces.
The modular systems for presenting and / or storing objects have been the subject of numerous developments in order to facilitate the mounting of a carrier frame and / or the positioning of elements carried by the chassis, such as trays. or sleepers.
There is a need for a modular system that is easy to assemble, practical to use and aesthetic. The invention aims to meet this need and it achieves this by proposing a modular system comprising: a carrier frame having openings at different heights, at least one element carried by the frame, including a plate or a cross, hooks for fixing said element on the frame at the desired height, these hooks comprising: - a U-shaped part for holding the element, - a hooking part to engage in an opening of the frame, comprising a substantially vertical upright connected to the attachment portion by a substantially horizontal connecting portion. The use of said hooks allows the mounting of the elements on the support frame without screws, which facilitates the assembly of the system and can also contribute to improving its aesthetics, the absence of screws that can result in the absence of screw head apparent on the assembled system. The use of said hooks also avoids the use of brackets that detract from the aesthetics, the hooks may be little or not visible on the assembled system.
The hooks are also suitable for the use of wooden building elements, particularly aesthetic.
In a particular embodiment, the frame comprises at least one upright provided at least on one face with bores defining said openings, the attachment portion of the hooks being configured to engage in the bores, the length of the connecting portion being greater than at the depth of a piercing.
Preferably, or the amounts are traveled on two opposite sides by holes for hooking hooks. This can make it possible to use the same amount to carry on both sides of it two elements, and thus to be able to constitute if necessary a long rack.
Advantageously, the or the amounts are each formed by the assembly of a grooved profile and a complementary piece, a cavity being formed between the two by the groove of the profile. The or the amounts are advantageously made of wood, which contributes to the aesthetics of the system. The vertical amount of the attachment portion of the hooks can engage in the groove of the profile. The groove is advantageously eccentric, that is to say that its longitudinal median plane is offset with respect to the longitudinal median plane of the upright. This can make it easier to attach a back panel, if necessary.
The system may comprise two adjacent lateral uprights each comprising a grooved profile, the grooves of the profiles of the two uprights being directed in opposite directions.
The element or elements carried by the frame may be formed by trays or crosspieces. The trays can be made of wood, especially glulam.
The hooks can be made in various ways, in particular depending on the shape of the frame and the elements carried by it.
The hooks may be formed by bending a metal rod, preferably of circular section.
The U-shaped holding portion may have its free end bent obliquely outwards, which may facilitate its engagement in the housing intended to receive it.
The substantially vertical amount of the assembly part may have its free end oriented in the opening direction of the U-shaped part. The invention may be better understood on reading the following detailed description of the invention. examples of non-limiting implementation thereof, and to the examination of the attached drawing, in which: FIG. 1 represents an example of a modular system according to the invention, in the assembled state, FIG. hook which can be used in the modular system of FIG. 1, FIG. 3 represents in isolation the lateral uprights of the system of FIG. 1, and the spacer which connects them to the top, FIG. 4 is a schematic and partial longitudinal section of the modular system. of Figure 1, showing the manner in which the hooks engage on the amounts, Figure 5 shows an alternative embodiment of an amount, Figure 6 shows a varian In the embodiment of the modular system, FIG. 7 shows a detail of FIG. 6, FIG. 8 is a section showing the manner in which the hook maintains an element on the support frame, FIG. 9 illustrates a variant in FIG. which the hooks maintain the support rails, and Figures 10 to 12 show alternative embodiments of hooks.
The modular system 1 according to the invention shown in Figure 1 comprises a frame 2 carrying elements 3 constituted in the example shown by trays, preferably wood.
The frame 2 is composed of four uprights 5 connected at their upper and lower ends by longitudinal and lateral spacers 6 and 7.
Each upright 5 is formed, as can be seen in particular in FIG. 3, by assembling a grooved section 8 and a complementary part 9 of the same width as the profile and closing off the groove 10 thereof. .
The profile 8 and the part 9 are advantageously made of wood, and are glued together.
Openings 11 open on the opposite faces of the upright 5, opening into the groove 10. These openings 11 are intended to receive hooks 20 intended to fix the elements 3 on the frame 2. Preferably, as illustrated, the groove 10 is eccentrically. The longitudinal median plane M of the groove 10 is for example located at one-third of the total width L of the profile, ie two-thirds from the outer edge 80. The groove 10 may be centered in the direction of the thickness of the upright 5, with an equal distance p on both sides to the faces where the holes 11 open.
In the example considered, each hook 20 comprises, as can be seen in FIG. 2, a U-shaped portion 21 for holding an element 3 and a hooking portion 22 for engaging in an opening 11 of the chassis, this attachment portion 22 having a substantially vertical upright 23 and a substantially horizontal connecting portion 24.
The hook 20 may be formed by bending a metal rod, preferably of circular section, so as to form a first right-angle bend 25 connecting the upright 23 to the connecting portion 24 and a second bend 26 at right angles connecting the portion 21 U-shaped portion to the connecting portion 24. The U-shaped portion 21 has two elbows 27 and 28 and one end 29 which is slightly bent obliquely outwardly.
As can be seen in particular in Figure 4, the connecting portion 24 has a length slightly greater than the depth of the opening 11, so that the first vertical leg 31 of the U-shaped portion 21, adjacent to the connecting portion 24, can extend along the upright 5 between the element 3 and the latter while the second leg 32 of the U-shaped portion 21, which has the end 29, can extend inside a housing 35 of the element 3. The latter may have a recess 40 to accommodate the leg 31 of the hook without moving the element 3 of the upright 5.
If necessary, a second hook 20 can be engaged in an opposite opening 11 of the upright 5, to accommodate another element 3 not shown.
In the embodiment of Figure 5, the openings 11 are formed by holes which open on the opposite faces of an amount 5. The element 3 can help immobilize the hook 20, the amount 23 comes to its contact. The amount 23 of the hook may remain partially apparent, as illustrated, above the element 3.
FIGS. 6 to 8 show the possibility for the hooks 20 to hook onto blades 50 extending between the uprights 5. Each hook 20 can engage in the gap between two adjacent blades 50. In this variant embodiment, the upright 23 is directed downwards and no longer upwards and the leg 31 of the U is longer, and in particular may have a length that corresponds substantially to the sum of the lengths of the leg 32 and the upright 23. The hook 20 has been shown in isolation in FIG.
There is shown in Figure 9 an alternative embodiment in which the element 3 which is supported by the hook 20 is a cross. It is also illustrated the use of a hook 20 such as that shown in Figure 12. The U-shaped portion 21 is wider than in the example of Figure 2.
There is shown in Figure 10 another embodiment of a hook 20, the upright 23 being directed downwardly with an end 55 which is bent slightly obliquely outwardly. The leg 31 is here particularly long, being of length for example greater than or equal to four times the height of the leg 32. The invention is not limited to the examples illustrated. For example, the shape of the amounts, the elements carried by the amounts and the hooks can be further modified.
