专利说明:
CONNECTION IMG SYSTEM CONTAINING A PLASTIC ELEMENT AND A PLASTIC TUBE TO BE FITTED ON THEM The invention relates to a connecting system comprising a plastic element and a plastic tube to be arranged transversely thereto, wherein a round opening is formed in the wall of the plastic element which corresponds to a diameter of the plastic tube, and wherein the plastic tube the opening can be fixed. The invention also relates to a method for establishing a connection between a plastic element and a plastic pipe to be arranged transversely thereto, wherein a round opening is formed in a wall of the plastic element corresponding to a diameter of the plastic tube, and wherein the plastic tube is secured in the opening. It is noted that in the context of the invention "round" is understood to mean any non-angular shape, in particular circular (with a connection at 90 °) or elliptical (with a connection at an acute / blunt angle). Such a connection system and such a method which are used, for example, in the expansion of a pipe system, such as a sewer system which is usually situated underground, are generally known. The plastic element then forms a first plastic tube, while the plastic tube to be arranged transversely thereto forms a second plastic tube with a smaller diameter. When such a tube system is expanded and a second plastic tube of small diameter is connected to a first plastic tube of that system, in practice the first plastic tube is first dug out and a round hole is then sawn in the wall of the first tube. The second plastic pipe is then clamped in the hole of the first plastic pipe with the aid of special clamping pieces. These clamping pieces are first arranged around the first plastic pipe in order to exert a force directed towards the axis thereof on the second plastic pipe. The known connecting system has the drawback that, if a sewer system already present in the ground is expanded, the first plastic pipe must be dug out over a considerable part thereof and around it, which requires a considerable amount of time and manpower and / or the use of relatively expensive excavators. This applies to a greater extent if the first plastic pipe to be exposed lies deep in the ground. The known connection system also has the drawback that additional clamping pieces are used. The present invention has for its object to improve the state of the art, i.e. in particular a connection system and method for providing high-quality and with sufficient mechanical strength connection of plastic elements, in particular plastic pipes, which are less cumbersome , time-consuming and expensive. To this end, the connection system according to the invention is characterized in that a wall of the plastic pipe comprises an upstanding peripheral edge on its outer surface which, when the plastic pipe is pressed, engages in the opening of the plastic element behind the wall of the plastic element. The upright peripheral edge is a flange or collar which extends continuously along the outer surface of the wall of the plastic pipe and which, in operating condition, falls behind an inner surface of a wall of the plastic element. The plastic pipe is herein elastically deformed locally, namely at the location of the peripheral edge, so that the plastic element and the plastic pipe are mutually connected by means of a snap or click connection. A strong mechanical snap connection has thus been realized. The plastic element and the synthetic pipe are made from, if not multi-layered, PVC, for example PVC U3 recycled material. The present snap system is a two-part system consisting of the plastic element and the plastic tube, wherein both plastic parts are directly connected to each other without using separate connecting members, such as a sleeve and the like. In a preferred embodiment of a connection system according to the invention, the upright peripheral edge is formed by a local widening of the diameter of the plastic pipe. In particular, the plastic pipe has the same wall thickness over its entire wall. The peripheral edge is then formed, as it were, by a local, circular protrusion of the wall of the plastic pipe. In a further preferred embodiment of a connection system according to the invention, the upright peripheral edge is formed at an insertion end of the plastic pipe. As a result, the plastic tube protrudes only to a very small extent into the opening of the plastic element, so that a space behind the plastic element is not affected thereby. In particular, the upright peripheral edge comprises an inclined abutment surface that rejuvenates towards the insertion end of the plastic pipe. The pressing of the plastic tube into the opening of the plastic element can then take place with relatively less force. In a preferred embodiment of a connection system according to the invention, the wall of the plastic pipe comprises on its outer surface a radial stop surface which, when the plastic pipe is pressed in the opening of the plastic element, faces an outer surface of the wall of the plastic element. Preferably, a sealing ring is provided which, when the plastic pipe is pressed, is clamped in the opening of the plastic element under tension between the stop surface of the plastic pipe and an outer surface of the wall of the plastic element. In the operating condition, the sealing ring is elastically deformed by the impression. In a preferred variant, the plastic element is formed by a first plastic tube with a larger diameter than the second plastic tube to be arranged transversely thereto. In another preferred variant, the plastic element is formed by a plastic plate. In both cases the plastic tube can be fixed in the opening of the plastic element, in particular at an angle of 90 ° with respect to the plastic element. As stated, the invention also relates to a method for establishing a connection between a plastic element and a plastic pipe to be arranged transversely thereto, wherein a round opening is formed in a wall of the plastic element corresponding to a diameter of the plastic tube, and wherein the second tube is fixed in the opening, characterized in that the plastic tube is pressed into the opening of the plastic element, with an upright peripheral edge on an outer surface of a wall of the plastic tube behind the wall of the plastic element, and wherein the peripheral edge is elastically deformed in a radially inward direction. The invention will be further elucidated with reference to figures shown in a drawing, wherein figures 1 and 2 show two views, schematically and in perspective, of two mutually connected plastic pipes; figure 3 shows a schematic side view of figure 1, wherein one of the tubes is partially drawn; Figure 4 offers a schematic and perspective view of three interconnected plastic pipes; and figures 5 and 6 correspond to figures 1 and 3, but now relate to the interconnection of a flat plastic plate and a plastic tube. In figures 1 and 2 a connection system 1 according to a preferred variant of the invention is distinguished, wherein a first plastic tube 2 and a second plastic tube 3 of a smaller diameter than the first plastic tube 2 are connected thereto. The first plastic tube 2 here functions as the main tube, while the second plastic tube 3 serves as a branch. In order to be able to connect the first and the second plastic tubes 2,3 to each other, a round opening 5 is sawn in a wall 4 of the first plastic tube 2, a diameter of which is identical to a diameter of the second plastic tube 2. As drawn , a wall 6 of the second plastic tube 3 has an upright peripheral edge 7 on its outer surface 7. When the second plastic tube 3 is pressed into the opening 5 of the first plastic tube 2 in the direction of the arrow 8, this peripheral edge 7 engages behind the wall 4 of the first plastic tube 2, wherein the second plastic tube 3 is fixed in the opening 5, with elastic deformation of the peripheral edge 7. The upright peripheral edge 7 is therefore a continuous along the outer surface of the wall 6 of the second plastic tube 3 extending flange or collar which, in operating condition, falls behind an inner surface of a wall 4 of the first plastic tube 2. As shown in Figs. 2 and 3, the wall 6 of the second plastic pipe 3 has a radial stop surface 9 on its outer surface, which surface when pressed into the second plastic pipe 3 in the opening 5 of the first plastic pipe 2 towards an outer surface of the wall 4 of the first plastic tube is turned. A rubber sealing ring 10 is thereby clamped under tension between the radial stop surface 9 of the second plastic pipe 3 and the outer surface of the wall 4 of the first plastic pipe 2. The upright peripheral edge 7 is formed by a local widening of the diameter of the second plastic pipe 3, while the second plastic pipe 3 has the same wall thickness over its entire wall 6. The peripheral edge 7 is then formed, as it were, by a local, circular, hollow bulge of the wall 6 of the second plastic tube 3. The upright circumferential edge 7 forms an insertion end of the second plastic tube 3, so that this insertion end does not protrude, or hardly so, into the first plastic tube 1, and thus cannot or hardly come into contact with liquid flows in the first plastic tube 2. To facilitate pressing in the direction of the arrow 8, the upstanding peripheral edge 7 has a sloping contact surface 11. This contact surface 11 rejuvenates towards the insertion end of the second plastic pipe 3. Figure 4 is a schematic and perspective view of three interconnected plastic tubes 12, 13, 14, the tube 12 being a main tube and the tubes 13, 14 forming taps. As shown, when attaching the tube 13 to the tube 12 no use is made of a radial stop surface 9 and a sealing ring 10. This is the case with the tube 14. Figures 5 and 6 correspond to figures 1 and 3, corresponding parts being designated with the same reference numerals. A plastic element in the form of a flat plastic plate 2 has a wall 4 with an opening 5. Just as with the interconnection of the plastic pipes 2 and 3 of figures 1 to 4, as described above, a plastic pipe becomes 3 is pressed into the opening 5 (in the direction of the arrow 8), the plastic tube 3 being elastically deformed. An upright peripheral edge 7 of the plastic tube 3 is ultimately located behind the wall 4 of the plastic plate 2. Again, there is a radial stop surface 9 and a seal 10. The invention is not limited to the embodiments shown, but also extends to other preferred variants that fall within the scope of the appended claims.
