The disadvantage of this known construction is that it is not well protected against burglary. The support profiles and the profiles of the frame can be bent in a relatively simple manner because they are only single-walled and therefore have a relatively low bending and torsional rigidity. As soon as one succeeds in bending or otherwise forcing the profiles, the slats can be removed. The underlying space is therefore not well protected against unauthorized access. In another known grid, steel inserts are included in the slats themselves. The object of the invention is to provide a grid that offers better protection against forcing and burglary attempts. The grid according to the invention has profiles which have a cavity closed in the circumferential direction, whereby the bending stiffness and the torsional stiffness of these profiles are relatively high. Such a greater rigidity and strength offers a first protection against forcing, because it becomes more difficult to deform the relevant profiles. This has also made it more difficult to remove the slats. A further protection against forcing is obtained by the fact that there is a reinforcement in those closed cavities.
