专利说明:

The invention relates to a machine for manufacturing brushes with a multiple magazine which has, to bring tufts of hair from different stock of hair to a receiving region of a tuft separator having a notch for separating a filling tool, a plurality of feed channels which have discharge ends, which are limited by lateral guides and in which feed means engage for the stock of bristles therein, wherein fork-shaped retainers on which the stock of bristles in question and which can be positioned between a closed position and a discharge position are provided in the region of the discharge ends and in which at least the brought from the multiple magazine can be tilted together and their discharge ends can be selectively activated and In this case, it may be associated with the region of reception of the tuft separator.
Brush making machines with multiple magazines are already known in various embodiments. The transfer of the pile material from the magazine discharge location to a downstream packing tool is effected by the tuft separator which switches between a receiving position near the magazine and a discharge position near the packing tool. .
DE 44 652 A1 discloses such a multiple magazine which has a tilting portion with a plurality of feed channels which can be selectively associated with their discharge ends to the taper separator receiving region.
The discharge ends are closed by a movable retaining finger and a fixed retaining element thereafter, the retaining finger can be brought into a discharge position in which the receiving section of the separation notch remains free to receive a tuft of bristles from one of the supply channels. During the operation of the tilting portion, the supply channels are caused to tilt in the region of the retaining element whereby the filaments of the packing material are guided in the transfer region to the retaining member along a point of the retaining element. In this case, the risk exists that filaments are damaged, pushed obliquely or even divided and that, subsequently, malfunctions occur.
Also known from DE 197 45 024 A1 is a multiple magazine which has several feed channels which are associated with an intermediate transport device formed by a rotating circular disc. The circular disk has as supports for tufts of hair one or more receiving notches to be able to carry tufts of bristles from one of the supply channels to the tuft separator. The supply channels have retainers that can be moved between a closed position and a discharge position. The multiple shifting of the bristle material from the feed channels to the tuft separator takes time and has increased susceptibility to disturbances.
The problem underlying the invention consists in providing a multi-magazine brush making machine which has an improved operational safety even at high alternation speeds and thus allows a safe alternating supply of material of the bristles from one of the supply channels to the tuft separator. Rapid alternating movements of the supply channels should not entangle the filaments therein.
To solve this problem, it is proposed to provide a stationary counter-support element which holds in the closed position the retaining elements of the deactivated supply channels, thus being out of order, and which releases the retaining element of the channel. supplying member associated with the receiving region of the tuft separator and providing a detent for moving the retaining element in the discharge position into at least the closed position prior to tilting of the supply channels.
By pushing the retaining element of the supply channel which has just been activated and thus the bristles contained therein, it is ensured that, when the supply ducts of the multiple magazine are tilted, no hair is located in the transfer region between the discharge ends and a fixed closure piece so that disturbances due to pinched bristles are excluded and the operational safety is thereby improved.
It is particularly advantageous for the retaining elements in the closed position to be shifted backwards in the feed ducts by a pushing distance and for the pushing distance to be, for example, a few millimeters, preferably about two to three times. millimeters. The packing material is thus not only brought out of the tuft separator action region but is pushed a little further into the feed channel so compaction of the pile material takes place. As a result, the individual filaments better support each other so that tilting during the maneuvering process due to acceleration and deceleration occurring in this case is avoided. This is particularly advantageous in the case of very thin or pointed packing material.
The material is lined by the action of the pusher serving as a means of advancing the supplied side, so that the packing material is retained on the side supplied by the pusher and the discharge side by the retaining elements.
One embodiment provides that the stationary counter-support element is constructed as a bearing abutment for the retainers and extends along the discharge ends of the delivery channels and is provided to release the retaining element associated with the supply channel being in the discharge position an interruption of its abutment side.
Upon tilting of the magazine, one of the retaining elements arrives in the region of the interruption so that the retaining element is moved to the discharge position, in particular by the action of a spring and or under the effect of gravity.
During a subsequent tilting of the magazine, the retaining element in the discharge position, engaging in the interruption is subjected to the action of the foil, is raised out of the interruption and is returned to the position of closing whereby the stock of hair is pushed back.
If the pushbutton is in the acting position, the interruption of the counter-support element is filled and a circular path is formed. In this position, switching the supply channels of more than one station prevents the supply channels in the intermediate region from being open.
Conveniently, the stationary counter-support member has an arcuate abutment side, facing the discharge ends of the delivery channels, which extends above the tilting region of the delivery channels. brought or still multiple magazine and which has as interruption a notch or recess similar.
In this case, the retaining elements respectively have a support preferably formed by a roller or a rolling bearing to act on the abutment side.
During the tilting of the feed channels, the supports of the retaining elements are guided on the arc-shaped abutment end of the stationary abutment element in the closed position and reach the position in the discharge position when they are in the closed position. one of the supply channels in the interruption of the abutment side of the counter-support element, when it is released by the repoussoir.
Additional designs of the invention are set forth in the other subclaims. The invention with its essential details will be explained in more detail below on the basis of the drawings.
In a schematic way,
Fig. 1 shows a side view of a multiple magazine with an associated packing device,
Fig. 2 shows the device shown in FIG. 1 with counter-support element and foil omitted, and
Fig. 3 shows the device shown in FIG. 2 with supply channels omitted.
A multiple magazine 1 with an associated packing device 2 is shown in FIG. 1 as part of a brush making machine. This multiple magazine 1 has, in the present embodiment, three delivery channels 3, 3a, 3b in which can be stored the material of the bristles 4 diversified. There are not shown here pushers provided as a means of advancement in the supply ducts 3, 3a, 3b on the supply side, which act on the material of the bristles in the supply direction.
At the discharge ends 5 of the feed ducts 3, 3a, 3b of the magazine are fork-shaped retaining elements 6 which can be selectively positioned in the discharge position (feed channel 3) or in the closed position ( supply channels 3a, 3b).
The packing device 2 has a packing tool 7 by means of which individual tufts of hair 8 which are fed into the packing tool by a tuft separator 9 with a separation slot 10 can be inserted into a brush body 11 having holes.
Along the discharge ends 5 of the supply ducts 3, 3a, 3b, there is provided a counter-support element 12 stationary with an abutment side 14, which on the one hand forms a bearing abutment for the elements retaining 6 which are part of the deactivated supply channels 3a, 3b and maintain them in the closed position.
On the other hand, the counter-support element 12 has an interruption of its abutment side so that the retaining element 6 of the activated supply channel 3 can be positioned in the discharge position.
It can be seen, in particular in FIG. 3, that the retaining elements 6 are connected to a support 18 arranged at an angle with respect thereto, which supports are respectively guided in a slideway 19 (FIG 1 and 2) arranged parallel to the supply channel concerned 3 , 3a, 3b and are subjected to the pressure of a spring 20 in the discharge direction. In the transition region between the retaining element 6 and its support 18, there is provided in each case supports 21 which can be formed by rollers or rolling bearings. The retaining elements 6 are located with them on the abutment side 14 of the stationary abutment element 12 and these rollers or rolling bearings can then roll on the abutment side during the tilting of the magazine 1.
The interruption of the abutment side 14 is configured as a V-shaped separation slot in the exemplary embodiment. This is positioned within the range of the abutment side 14 so that the retaining element 6 in the receiving region 13 can be moved to the discharge position so that a transfer of material bristles can take place of the associated supply channel, in the embodiment of the supply channel 3, in the separation slot 10 of the tuft separator 9. This separation notch 10 moves, because of the movement to and from the tuft separator 9, between the sampling position shown in the figures at the filling tool 7 and a filling position in the receiving region at one of the delivery channels 3. In the receiving region, the separation notch 10 of the tuft separator 9 receives material from the bristle material corresponding to a tuft of bristles 8, the separation notch 10 passing along the stock of bristles.
The supply ducts 3, 3a, 3b can be selectively positioned with their discharge ends at the receiving region 13 by the tilting of the store 1.
Before a change of position of the magazine 1, the retaining element 6 positioned in the discharge position is brought into the closed position in that it is displaced by means of a push-button 16. This push-piece 16 has, in the region of the notch 15 of the counter-support element 12, an actuating element 17 which can act on the relevant retaining element 6 to move it.
It is particularly important that the retaining elements 6 engage in the closed position on such a push-back distance in the feed channels that on the one hand the bristle material is somewhat compacted during the displacement of the unloading position. in the closed position and that, on the other hand, the material of the bristles is kept at a distance from the interface between the discharge ends 5 of the supply ducts and the tuft separator 9. This is clearly seen in FIG. 2.
The right side wall 22 of the supply channel 3 or at the choice of one of the other two supply channels 3a, 3b that can be positioned at the receiving region 13 ends with an edge 23 close to the outer side of the The retaining element 6 is here in the discharge position and is furthermore drawn in broken lines in the closed position. In this case, it can be seen that the stock of bristles 4 is in the closed position above the separation region so that jamming or damage of the filaments is reliably prevented during store operation. In addition, the stock of bristles is compacted at least in the region of the discharge end so that during the operation of the magazine, the acceleration forces that occur do not have any influence on the correct position of the material. fur.
The abutment side 14 of the stationary abutment element 12 extends arcuate along the discharge ends of the delivery channels 3, 3a, 3b and beyond as a function of the tilting region. 1. When the delivery channel 3b is in the discharge position, the support 21 of the retaining element 6 associated with the supply channel 3 is still against the abutment side 14 and maintains the same. ci and the adjacent retaining element 6, associated with the supply channel 3a, in the closed position. The arc radius of the abutment side 14 is at its central point at the point of rotation 23 of the multiple magazine 1.
The pushing distance in the feed channels 3, 3a, 3b of the holding elements 6 may, for example, be a few millimeters, preferably about 2 to 3 millimeters. This means that the retaining elements 6 in the closed position engage in the supply channels to such an extent that not only the tuft separator 9 is out of reach but that there is also a distance from it. position.
The movement of the spool 16 takes place in synchronization with the tilting movement of the multi-magazine 1, the spool being activated each time before a movement of movement of the magazine. The drive of the spooler 16 can be motorized, pneumatic, hydraulic or cam-controlled. In this case, the spool can be moved linearly or circularly through a point of rotation.
