Fixing device for holding tape clips
The invention relates to a fixing device for receiving tape clips, comprising at least one carrying unit, which has two long sides and two transverse sides.
Such a fixing device is used to hold a number of ribbon clips and to attach them to a garment of the wearer of the awards, in particular a uniform. Band clips are common in organizations such as the fire department, the Red Cross, and the military. In order to show off awards that have already been received to save space on clothing, ribbon clips are attached to a fixing device as described above, also called an order clip in Austria. This represents a summary of all awards of the wearer, sorted by value, whereby it is not necessary to attach each ribbon clip individually to a piece of clothing. This also makes it easier to change the clasps to another piece of clothing.
Fixing devices for receiving tape clips according to the prior art consist of one or more rail-shaped support units joined on their long sides, to which tape clips are attached. The carrying units have a predetermined length and can therefore only accommodate a predefined number of tape clips. In the case of a one-piece design of the fixing device and tape clips, there is the disadvantage of having to replace the entire fixing device, including the tape clips, with each newly awarded award. A further embodiment variant of fixing devices according to the prior art allows the band clips on the fixing device to be exchanged. However, this type of fixation device according to the prior art has the disadvantage that the wearer is forced to replace the entire fixation device, or at least one carrying unit, with each newly awarded badge, in order to be able to wear a received tape clip in addition to the ones already available.
It is the object of the invention to form a fixing device which overcomes the disadvantages of fixing devices of the prior art.
According to the invention, the present object is achieved in that the fixing device is of modular design and comprises at least one of a longitudinal side connecting element and a transverse side connecting element which can be connected to the carrying unit, and wherein the longitudinal side connecting element is designed at least two carrying units on one each To join together on the long side, and the transverse side connecting element is designed to assemble at least two support units on each transverse side
2/12
The design of the fixing device according to the invention offers the advantage that it is of modular construction, and this eliminates the need to replace the fixing device completely, or only partially, as soon as a further award, in the form of a tape clip, is to be received by the fixing device. The wearer can expand the fixing device by means of additional carrying units and flexibly combine them with existing carrying units. It is particularly advantageous here that the sequence of the tape clips on the fixing device can be easily changed by loosening and connecting the longitudinal side connecting elements and the transverse side connecting elements without the tape clips having to be released from the carrying unit.
The carrying units of the fixing device have a front side and a back side, the band clips being arranged on the front side. The
Longitudinal side connecting elements and transverse side connecting elements are located on the back, facing the wearer's clothing. This has the advantage that the appearance of the fixing device is not negatively influenced by the modular structure.
Advantageous embodiments of the fixing device according to the invention, as well as alternative design variants are explained in more detail below with reference to the figures.
Figure 1 shows a back of a fixing device according to the invention in a preferred embodiment.
Figure 2 shows a front view of a fixing device according to the invention in a preferred embodiment in a perspective view.
FIG. 1 shows a rear side of a fixing device 1 according to the invention for receiving tape clips in a preferred embodiment variant, which consists of five assembled support units 2, three longitudinal side connecting elements 3 and two
Transverse side connection elements 4, and two fastening devices 5 is constructed. The carrying units 2 each have two long sides 7 and two transverse sides 6, the long side connecting elements 3 connecting the carrying units 2 to respectively adjacent long sides 7, and the transverse side connecting elements 4 connecting the carrying units 2 to respectively adjacent transverse sides 6 of the carrying units 2. The rear of the fixing device 1 shown in FIG. 1 faces the clothing of a wearer of the fixing device 1 and is attached to it by means of the fastening devices 5. A modular structure of the fixing device 1 is achieved by this construction. This offers the advantage that the fixing device 1 can be expanded, and the size of the fixing device 1 can be adapted to the number of band clips to be fastened thereon.
3/12
A front side opposite the rear side (see FIG. 2) of the fixing device 1 is provided to be covered by the band clips (not shown), which can be received by the carrying units 2 on their catch sides 7. For this purpose, the carrying units 2 also each have a front side and a rear side, the front sides of the carrying units 2 being arranged on the front side of the fixing device 1 and being able to be covered by the band clips. The rear sides of the carrying units 2 are arranged analogously on the rear side of the fixing device 1.
The carrying units 2 furthermore have receptacles 8 on their rear side, in which the catch side connecting elements 3 and the transverse side connecting elements 4 are received. In the preferred embodiment variant shown in FIG. 1, the receptacles 8 of the carrying units 2 are designed as two grooves arranged in parallel on the catch sides 7 of each carrying unit 2. Due to the arrangement of the receptacles 8 and the catch side connecting elements 3 and
Cross-side connecting elements 4 on the rear of the fixing device 1 have the advantage that the appearance of the front is not adversely affected. It is particularly advantageous here that the catch side connecting elements 3 and
Transverse side connecting elements 4 are not an obstacle for the attachment by pushing on tape clips on the front sides 7 of the carrying units 2.
In the preferred embodiment variant shown in FIG. 1, the transverse side connecting elements 4 are designed as rails with a sequence of recesses 9. The transverse side connecting elements 4 are inserted into the receptacles 8 of the carrying units 2 parallel to the catch sides 7, and each connect two carrying units 2 on their respective mutually joined transverse sides 6. In alternative embodiments, transverse side connecting elements 4 with larger catch dimensions can be realized, which three or more carrying units 2 have on them Connect wise. Furthermore, a latching connection of the transverse side connecting elements 4 to the carrying units 2 can be implemented. Shocks from transverse sides 6 of successive support units 2 are thus from the
Cross-side connecting elements 4 superimposed. This arrangement of
Transverse side connecting elements 4 in the receptacles 8 of the carrying units 2 and over the joints of the transverse sides 6 of the carrying units 2 is particularly advantageous since the fixing device 1 is thereby reinforced against external forces. In the preferred embodiment variant, the recesses 9 of the transverse side connecting elements 4 are a regular, alternating sequence of circular holes, as well as catch holes. The transverse side connecting elements 4 have a catch hole which is separated in half at each end and which is used when joining another one
Cross-side connection element 4 is supplemented to an existing cross-side connection element 4 to a complete catch hole. In alternative versions are
4/12 any other shapes and sequences of recesses 9 can be realized. The design of the receptacles 8 as grooves offers the advantage that they can be manufactured in one piece with the carrying units 2. Another advantage is that this design ensures a particularly secure connection of the longitudinal side connecting elements 3 and the transverse side connecting elements 4 with the support units 2.
Furthermore, the two are in the receptacles 8 of the carrying units 2
Fastening devices 5 added detachably. In a preferred embodiment variant, these are designed as rail elements, to which a needle is attached, which is arranged perpendicular to the plane of the rear of the fixing device 1. The needle can be attached to the rail element by gluing, soldering or other methods. The fastening devices 5 serve to fix the fixing device 1 on an item of clothing. In alternative versions are
Fastening devices 5 can be realized, which use, for example, magnetic fastenings, adhesive fastenings or Velcro fasteners. For the person skilled in the art, further fastening methods result from this exemplary reference. The fastening of the fastening devices 5 in the receptacles 8 of the carrying elements 2 results in the advantage that, if the fixing device 1 is expanded by additional carrying units 2, the fastening devices 5 can, if necessary, be used at other positions. It is particularly advantageous that the number of fastening devices 5, which are present on a fixing device 1, by adding further
Fastening devices 5 can be increased at any time in order to ensure a secure fastening of the fixing device 1.
The longitudinal side connecting elements 3 also engage in the receptacles 8 in FIG
Carrying units 2, and establish a rigid connection between the carrying units 2 on their longitudinal sides 7 that are joined together. In the preferred embodiment variant shown in FIG. 1, the longitudinal side connecting elements 3 are designed as clamps which, analogous to the transverse side connecting elements 4, are inserted into the receptacles 8 parallel to the longitudinal sides 7. Here, the longitudinal side connecting elements 3 engage in the receptacles 8, which are designed as grooves, on respectively adjacent longitudinal sides 7. Furthermore, the
Longitudinal side connection elements 3 via an additional, stepped area 10, by means of which the long side connection elements 3 engage in the recesses 9 of the transverse side connection elements 4. This additional connection of the longitudinal side connecting elements 3 to the transverse side connecting elements 4 offers the advantage that the fixing device 1 is thereby additionally reinforced against mechanical loads. The addition of the recesses 9 at the ends of the transverse side connecting elements 4 to a complete longitudinal hole when adding a
5/12 further transverse side connection element 4, advantageously also enables the engagement of a longitudinal side connection element 3 at the position of an abutment of two successive transverse side connection elements 4.
Another advantage of this fastening method of the longitudinal side connecting elements 3 is that it enables two, three or more carrying units 2 to be connected on the longitudinal sides 7, as shown in FIG. 1. In FIG. 1, to connect three carrying units 2, a longitudinal-side connecting element 3 engages centrally over a joint from two transverse sides 6 of two carrying units 2 into the recess 9 of one
Cross side connector 4. Furthermore, this applies
Longitudinal connecting element 3 into the receptacles 8 of the two carrying units 2 connected on the transverse sides 6, as well as the carrying unit 2 connected to these on the long side 7. In alternative versions, this can
Longitudinal connection element 3 engage at any position of a support element 2 in the receptacle 8 and the recess 9 of the transverse side connection element 4. This achieves the advantage that different further arrangements of support elements 2 can be implemented with respect to one another, wherein a longitudinal side connection element 3 does not necessarily have to be arranged centrally above the joint of two support units 2.
In alternative design variants, longitudinal side connecting elements 3 can be provided which snap onto the receptacles 8 of the carrying units 2.
Figure 2 shows the front of a fixing device 1 according to the invention, which has eight carrying units 2, in a perspective view. The fixing device 1 also has two fastening devices 5 according to FIG. 1, the needles of which are partially visible.
Band clips can be arranged on the front of the fixing device 1 or the carrying units 2 (not visible in FIG. 2). The band clips are picked up by the carrying units 2 on their long sides 7, and for this purpose are pushed over the long sides 7 of the carrying units 2. This has the advantage that a particularly simple and secure fastening of the band clips is achieved.
The support units 2, longitudinal side connecting elements 3, transverse side connecting elements 4, and the fastening devices 5 are made of an aluminum alloy, or stainless steel
Spring steel manufactured. This achieves advantages in terms of production technology. In alternative design variants, the elements mentioned are made of plastic.
