The welding device is activated in a row and the edge-side strips fold to the base surface and welded by the heating elements, the film edges.
In practice, it has been found that there is a need for different package sizes with very different amounts of cold cuts. So far, these requirements can be met only partially with the above-mentioned device. To the top, the size of the package is limited primarily by the film transfer device, which is equipped with film rolls of a certain width, for example, with a width of 21 cm. In order to realize different package sizes, different welding devices can be provided with different distances between the foldable strips. In practice, for example, there are welding devices which produce standard size packages of 21 x 21 cm. In order to switch to the production of large packs, the welding device must be exchanged, whereupon packs with a size of, for example, 21 × 26 cm can then be produced with the same film transfer device.
When scaling down to smaller pack sizes, there is of course the option of placing less sliced meat between the lower and upper slides. However, this leads to a finished packaging with a high excess of foil edges, which is a hindrance on the one hand in handling the packaging and on the other hand is undesirable for marketing reasons. Too large a package leads to the customer to the impression of a Mogelpackung and also suggests a wasteful handling of packaging materials and resources.
It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a welding device, which makes it possible to produce smaller package sizes, without a permanent replacement of the welding equipment or other parts of the existing system is necessary, whereby the application possibilities and flexibility of such a fully automatic slicing and packaging plant is further increased.
This object is achieved in that at least one lever arm is arranged in or below the base surface, which is about an axis of rotation, which is arranged parallel to the axes of rotation of two opposing strips approximately in the center of the base surface, beyond the plane of the base surface also swung , After reaching the Betätigungsendstellung located on the base surface film is turned over on itself, whereby the now superimposed film sections are welded by the strips on the remaining free edges. After the target weight is reached, the lever arm is actuated and the empty half of the lower foil is folded over the cold cuts. Subsequently, the two now superimposed film sections are welded together by means of the folding strips with the heating elements.
According to a possible embodiment of the invention, it is provided that a plurality of lever arms are provided which are spaced apart normal to a rotational axis formed as a shaft, and that each lever arm is associated with a corresponding slot in the base surface through which the lever arms when actuated upwards are pivotable. This embodiment is preferred because it provides an easy-to-clean base surface on the welder while allowing for safe folding of the foil sections over the entire area.
It is an advantageous feature of the present invention that the lever arms are designed substantially L-shaped, wherein they are attached to the shorter leg on the axis of rotation, and wherein the length of the shorter leg at least equal to the distance between the axis of rotation and top of the base surface and the shorter leg extends in the starting position on the side remote from the base surface side of the axis of rotation. This embodiment of the lever arm allows a particularly efficient folding of the film section and a complete 180 ° movement of the axis of rotation from the starting position with the lever arms below the base surface to the Betätigungsendstellung with the lever arms above the folded film section and the underlying sliced.
Another feature of the invention is that the longer leg of the lever arms is at least partially angled or bent, so that the free ends of the longer legs are inclined in Betätigungsendstellung the base surface. Finally, it is a feature of the invention that the lever arm is formed as part of the base surface and thus can be pivoted up as part of the base surface.
