专利说明:

The invention relates to a cover strip for attachment to an installation part, for example a window or door frame, at the transition to an adjacent wall or cleaning area, with a cover profile that can be fastened to the installation part, a method for attaching such a cover strip to an installation part, and a system having a cover strip, a built-in part and an adjacent wall or cleaning area.
In this connection, a sealing strip for sealing between a window frame and a window reveal has become known from WO 2005/106176 A1. The sealing strip, which is made of plastic, consists of two sections which are movably connected to one another via a joint shape extending in the longitudinal direction. The joint is designed as a hinge joint by means of a material taper and has a rear stop strip that limits the opening angle, so that an L-shaped sealing strip can be implemented in the installed position, the first section of which is glued to the side cheek of the window frame and the second section of which is attached an elastic sealing lip on the window reveal. Between the window reveal and the second section, an elastically resilient sealing strip is arranged, which is present in a separable film, from which two pulling strips extend, via which the film can be torn open after the sealing strip has been installed, so that the sealing strip can expand under sealing action. The complicated manufacture and handling of the sealing strip are disadvantageous.
Furthermore, a joint sealing tape for sealing a building joint between two components, in particular between a wall and a frame component, is known from DE 20 2013 100 098 U1, the sealing tape having two separate foam sealing strips each made of a resilient foam material. Each of the sealing strips has two broad sides for contacting the two joint flanks formed by the abutting components. The two sealing strips are arranged on a preferably flexible, elongated carrier running next to one another in the longitudinal direction of the carrier, means being provided to trigger a reset of the two sealing strips from a compressed state independently of one another. Disadvantages are the relatively complicated handling, as well as the visible appearance, / 13 for example when installing on the room side in the reveal area of windows or door frames.
The object of the invention is to improve a cover strip for attachment to a built-in part at the transition to an adjacent wall or plaster area and a method for attaching such a cover strip to a built-in part in such a way that the cover strip can be produced and assembled simply and inexpensively. In addition, long-term tightness should also be ensured in the case of relative movements between the wall and the built-in part.
This is achieved according to the invention in that the cover strip has an integrated sealing system with a flexible sealing flap which is fastened to the cover profile with a first edge region in the longitudinal direction of the cover strip and has a permanently elastic adhesive bead on the second, free edge region for fixing to the adjacent wall or plaster region. The cover strip according to the invention thus provides two sealing levels in a simple manner, a first through the cover profile, which may be in contact with a flexible protective lip on the wall or plaster area, and a second through the flexible sealing flap which is attached to the adjacent wall or plaster area with a permanently elastic bead of adhesive ,
A method according to the invention for attaching a cover strip to an installation part, for example a window or door frame, the gap to an adjacent wall or plaster area being foamed with local foam, for example polyurethane foam, and the cover strip having a flexible sealing flap which has a first edge region is attached to a cover profile in the longitudinal direction of the cover strip and has a permanently elastic bead of adhesive on the second, free edge area, is characterized by the following steps:
partial removal of the local foam at the entrance of the gap between the built-in part and the wall or plaster area to produce a receptacle which is wedge-shaped in cross section,
- Removing a cover film from the permanently elastic bead of adhesive,
- Glue the permanently elastic adhesive bead to the wall or plaster area in the wedge-shaped receptacle, / 13
- Removing a cover film from an adhesive tape on the first edge area of the sealing tab, as well
- Fold up the cover profile and stick the adhesive tape to the built-in part.
A system according to the invention consisting of a cover strip with a cover profile, a built-in part, for example a window or door frame, and an adjacent wall or cleaning area is characterized by a cover strip with an integrated sealing system, which has a flexible sealing flap that has a first edge area is attached to the cover profile in the longitudinal direction of the cover strip and has a permanently elastic bead of adhesive on the second, free edge area for fixing the sealing flap on the adjacent wall or plaster area.
The invention is explained in more detail below on the basis of exemplary embodiments. Show it:
1 shows a cover strip according to the invention for attachment to an installation part in a sectional view,
2 the cover strip according to FIG. 1 in a three-dimensional representation,
3 the cover strip according to FIGS. 1 and 2 in the intended installation position in a sectional view, the
4 to 6 variants of the cover strip according to the invention in the installed state in each case in a sectional view, and
FIG. 7 shows the cover strip according to FIG. 2 in a three-dimensional representation during the installation process.
Functionally identical parts are provided with the same reference symbols in the individual design variants.
The cover strip 10 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 essentially consists of a cover profile 11 and a flexible sealing flap 12 which is fastened with a first edge region 13 in the longitudinal direction of the cover strip 10 to the inside of the cover profile 11 and on the second, free edge region 14 has / 13 permanently elastic adhesive bead 15 for fixing to the adjacent wall or plaster area. The flexible sealing flap 12 has on the first edge region 13 on one side a first adhesive tape 16 for attachment to the cover profile 11 and on the other side a second adhesive tape 17 provided with a removable cover sheet 18 for attachment to the built-in part.
In the embodiment variant shown here, the cover profile 11 has a protective lip 19 in the longitudinal direction of the cover strip 10, which in the intended installation position of the cover strip 10 lies against the adjacent wall or plaster area. Furthermore, on the edge facing away from the adjacent wall or plaster area, the cover profile 11 can have a cover leg 20 directed towards the built-in part.
The cover profile 11 can be designed as a flat strip made of plastic or aluminum. The cover strip 10 can be attached to both the inner and the outer surface of an installation part 1 using a suitable sealing flap 12.
3 shows the cover strip 10 according to FIGS. 1 and 2 in the installed state, attached to the side wall 6 of an installation part 1, at the transition to an adjacent wall or plaster area 2 of a wall 7, the gap between the installation part 1, for example one Window stick, and the wall or cleaning area 2 with foam 3, for example Polyurethane foam that is foamed.
The adhesive bead 15 is here arranged on the base 5 of a receptacle 4 which is triangular or wedge-shaped in cross section and which is produced by partially removing or cutting out the local foam 3 at the entrance to the gap between the built-in part 1 and the wall or plaster area 2. The cover strip 10 can therefore be designed to be particularly flat and elegant.
The cover strip 10 according to the invention is used above all in renovation work, when installing new windows or doors, to cover and seal the gap between built-in part 1 and the adjacent wall or plaster area of the reveal on the room side.
The flexible sealing flap 12 and the permanently elastic adhesive bead 15 of the integrated sealing system are covered in the intended installation position / 13 either only by the cover profile 11 or - if present - by the protective lip 19 and the cover profile 11.
The width of the flexible sealing flap 12 has an excess of material which, in the intended installation position of the cover strip 10, forms at least one movement loop 22 between the fastening point on the cover profile 11 and the permanently elastic adhesive bead 15. In the case of component movements, this movement loop can compensate for changes in distance between built-in part 1 and wall area 2. Even if the protective lip 19 lifts off the wall area 2, the second sealing level realized by the flexible sealing tab 12 still remains intact.
4 and 5 show design variants in which the cover profile 11 is designed as a hollow chamber strip, in the variant according to FIG. 4 without a protective lip and according to FIG. 5 with an elastic protective lip 19. The width of the hollow chamber creates a free space 23 within the cover strip 10 created, at the base of the adhesive bead 15 can be glued to the wall area 2.
The variant according to FIG. 6 differs from that according to FIG. 3 essentially only in that the adhesive bead 15 is arranged on the back of the free edge region 14 of the flexible sealing flap 12.
7 shows an installation stage in which the local foam 3 has already been cut out at the beginning of the gap between the installation part 1 and the wall or plaster area 2 in order to produce a receptacle 4 which is wedge-shaped in cross section. For example, a knife can be used for this purpose, the blade of which is guided along the edge of the built-in part 1. After removing the cover film from the permanently elastic adhesive bead 15, this is glued to the base 5 of the receptacle 4.
Then the cover film 18 is removed from the adhesive tape 17 of the sealing flap 12 and the cover profile 11 is folded up and glued according to arrow 8 until it abuts the cheek 6 of the built-in part 1.
