Operating device for operating at least one light source, an LED, comprising: in particular - a mains voltage (Uin) supplied first converter (Pl) with a first reference potential (Zl), one of the first converter (Pl) galvanically isolated second converter (P2) with a second reference potential (Z2) for supplying a load circuit (L) to the lighting means, and - a first logic circuit (Cl) for controlling the first converter (P1) and a second logic circuit (C2) for controlling the second converter (P2), comprising at least a first power switch (S1) controlled by the first logic circuit (C1), which clocks according to the first converter (P1), further comprising at least one second power switch (S2) t driven by the second logic circuit (C2) corresponding to the second converter (P2 ), wherein the first logic circuit (Cl) and the second logic circuit (C2) via an isolated interface (Jl) are interconnected, wherein the first logic circuit (Cl) I, the second logic circuit interface (C2) and the isolated (Jl) are integrated in an integrated circuit.
