Fence system and assembly method for a fence system
The invention relates to a fence system comprising at least two fence support profiles and a plurality of fence slats which can be connected to form a fence field. Furthermore, an assembly method for a generic fence system is specified within the scope of the invention.
Numerous embodiments of mounting systems for fences are already known from the prior art. For example, a fence system, for example made of wood, is known from document EP 0 282 269 B1, in which prefabricated fence panels are fastened with fixing means between spaced-apart fence posts. Adjacent fence slats overlap each other, resulting in opaque fence panels. The individual fence battens are attached to the horizontal rails of each fence panel using a single fastening element, for example a nail. This enables a relative pivoting movement between the fence slat and the horizontal rail. A disadvantage of this embodiment is at least that the nails are visible as fastening elements at least from the side from which they are turned in to connect the fence slat and the horizontal rail. Furthermore, disassembly of individual fence battens in order to replace them if necessary or to attach neighboring fence battens at a different distance from one another is only possible with great effort and with damage to the fastening elements. In addition, it should be mentioned as a disadvantage with this fence system that the assembly of the prefabricated fence panels is also complex due to their size and weight and should therefore preferably be carried out by several people from an assembly company.
The document US Pat. No. 6,637,728 B2 relates to a mounting system for a plastic privacy screen. Preformed, molded plastic elements are connected to each other with connecting pieces and fastened between fence posts. A disadvantage of this assembly system is at least that the prefabricated, continuous or opaque plastic elements, which for example correspond to a fence length of eight fence slats, cannot be dismantled and therefore cannot be individually shortened in their element length. Another disadvantage is that the plastic elements can only be used on horizontal terrain and cannot be adapted to different terrain conditions such as embankments or slopes. Furthermore, a disadvantage of the finished plastic parts is that they have a low stability with respect to wind or snow loads and there is therefore a risk that the privacy fence will fall over or collapse in strong winds or high snow loads.

G2434
The present invention therefore has as its object to avoid the disadvantages known from the prior art for assembly systems of the type mentioned at the beginning, and to create a fence system which can also be set up by end customers in a particularly simple manner adapted to the individual conditions of the respective installation site , which is robust, easy to care for and of high quality, and which can be dismantled as damage-free as possible so that it can be installed in a different location and / or in a configuration.
This object is achieved in a fence system according to the preamble of claim 1 with the features of the characterizing part of claim 1. Further advantageous refinements and developments of the invention are set out in the subclaims and the description.
According to the invention, in a fence system which comprises at least two fence support profiles and a plurality of fence slats which can be connected to form a fence field, each fence support profile has a guide groove which is continuous in the longitudinal direction of the profile and which is open on the end faces of the fence support profile, with at least two of each fence slat on the same fence bar side spaced fastening bolts are arranged, which fastening bolts can be inserted into the guide grooves of the fence support profile. With such a fence system in the installed position, the fastening bolts are advantageously inserted into the guide grooves of the fence support profile and thus the fence battens are fastened to the fence support profile. With this new system, fence battens can be inserted into the guide grooves of the fence support profiles with the help of fastening bolts. The fence slats can also advantageously be removed from the guide grooves again without damage, if this is necessary. Particularly advantageously, no further fastening means such as nails, screws or the like, which are usually usual, are required for fixing the fence battens to the fence support profiles.
The fence system according to the invention thus offers particularly high flexibility not only when erecting the fence fields, but also when repair work is required. Individual fence slats that need to be replaced are easily and quickly moved in the longitudinal direction of the fence support profile to the front of the fence support profile and can then be removed from the front and exchanged. Even if the fence system according to the invention is not limited to the use of certain materials, it is nevertheless preferably made from metal profiles, particularly preferably from coated aluminum profiles.
3.21
G2434
In a fence system according to the invention, the guide groove of the fence support profile between the fastening bolts of adjacent fence slats inserted in the installed position can advantageously be covered with at least one spacer element. In this embodiment, spacer elements can be inserted between adjacent fence slats, which are inserted in the installation position with the fastening bolts in the guide grooves of the fence support profile, into the still free spaces between the guide grooves. These spacer elements serve on the one hand to fix the position of the fastening bolts within the guide groove, as a result of which the distances between adjacent fence slats are determined by means of the spacer elements. On the other hand, by inserting or latching the spacer elements into the guide grooves, they are closed, which can advantageously prevent moisture and / or dirt from penetrating into the fence support profile. The spacer elements are designed, for example, as cover strips or as cover strips.
In a fence system, the at least one spacer element can expediently have detents, which can preferably be fastened in the guide groove by latching. In this embodiment, the spacer elements can advantageously be inserted into the guide grooves in a particularly simple manner or, if necessary, removed from them again.
In a further development of the invention, in a fence system in the installed position in a fence field with a plurality of fence slats, which are each fastened with fastening bolts in guide grooves of the fence support profile, all the spaces between the guide grooves can be covered with spacer elements.
In the case of a fence system according to the invention in the installed position, each batten of a fence field can be particularly articulately fastened with a first fastening bolt in a guide groove of the first fence support profile and with a second fastening bolt in a guide groove of the second fence support profile. This has the advantage that the fence slats are articulated in relation to the respective fence support profile and thus inaccuracies in assembly or sections with a slope of the terrain, for example in the area of embankments, can be overcome particularly easily with the fence system according to the invention. By fastening between the fence batten and a single fence support profile, each with only one fastening bolt, the angle of inclination between the fence batten and the fence support profile can be taken into account particularly flexibly when installing the fence fields.

G2434
In a fence system according to the invention, fastening bolts can expediently be fastened to the fence slats each with a fastening screw. This ensures a particularly quick and easy assembly of the fastening bolts.
In a further preferred embodiment of the invention, in the case of a fence system, each fastening bolt can have a substantially cylindrical fastening head at its free end, the fastening head being provided for engaging in the essentially T-shaped guide groove. In this version, it is particularly easy to compensate for inaccuracies in installation or level slopes on the site. The cylindrical fastening head of the fastening bolt can be rotated or adjusted as desired in the inserted position within the guide groove in relation to the longitudinal direction of the fence support profile. The above-mentioned spacer elements, which are simply inserted into the guide groove, can be used to fix the position of the fastening bolt within the guide groove.
Particularly expediently, a fence system according to the invention can further comprise profile holders, with a free support profile end being attachable to a profile holder. In the context of the invention, depending on the design of the fence fields or depending on the installation site of the fence system, different embodiments can be used on profile holders. For example, profile holders can be fastened to fastening elements such as fence posts, building walls or wall sections in order to hang in or fix the free support profile ends of the fence support profile of a fence field. In a particularly expedient embodiment, a profile holder can be designed, for example, as a fastening bracket.
In a further preferred embodiment variant, the profile holder can be made in several parts, preferably in two parts, in a fence system, a first holding part of the profile holder comprising an essentially U-shaped shell profile, into which shell profile the fence supporting profile can preferably be inserted with its lower supporting profile side in the installed position, and a second mounting part of the profile holder is designed such that the second mounting part comprises the still free profile cross section of the fence support profile in the installed position and engages by means of fastening elements on the first mounting part, whereupon the free support profile end of the fence support profile is fixed in its position within the profile holder.
The above-mentioned object according to the invention is also achieved by an assembly method for a fence system, which is characterized by the following steps:
Providing at least two fence support profiles as well as several fence battens;
5.21
G2434
Fastening at least two spaced-apart fastening bolts each on a fence rail side of each fence rail, possibly with the aid of an assembly template;
Creation of the at least two fence support profiles in an essentially parallel position to one another;
Inserting the first fastening bolt of a fence slat from an end face of the first fence support profile into a guide groove of the first fence support profile;
Inserting the second fastening bolt of the fence slat from one end into a guide groove of the second fence support profile;
If necessary, adjust the inserted fence post in its position in the longitudinal direction of the fence support profiles;
If necessary, covering at least one free section of the guide grooves with a spacer element;
Repeating the insertion process of the fastening bolts of the further fence slats into the guide grooves of the fence support profiles until all fence slats of a fence field are connected to the fence support profiles;
If necessary, covering further free sections of the guide grooves with spacer elements;
If necessary, mounting of profile holders on spaced-apart fastening elements;
Attach the free ends of the support profiles of a fence panel to the fasteners.
With this assembly method, it is advantageously possible to assemble fence fields particularly quickly and easily by connecting a corresponding number of fence battens by means of fence support profiles.

Fastening bolts 40 are arranged, which fastening bolts 40 are inserted into the guide grooves 25 of the fence support profile 20 from their end faces 22 in the longitudinal direction 21 of the profile. The fence slats 30 are shown here in FIG. 1 on their front side 32 and each have end caps 35 in order to prevent moisture entering the fence slat profiles from above.
FIG. 2 shows in detail the connection of the fence battens 30 and the fence support profile 20 of a second embodiment of a fence system 1 according to the invention. The fence support profile 20, which is shown on its open end face 22, gives a clear view of its interior. In this case, the guide groove 25 which is continuous in the longitudinal direction 21 of the profile can be seen, which is designed here as an essentially T-shaped guide groove 29 and which serves to receive fastening bolts 40. The fastening bolt 40 shown here has an essentially cylindrical structure and has at its free end 41 an essentially circular disk-shaped fastening head 45 which can be inserted into the T-shaped guide groove 29 with a precise fit. In this embodiment, the inclination of the fence slats 30 can advantageously be pivoted in relation to the fence support profile 20, as a result of which assembly inaccuracies can be compensated for.
Fig. 3 shows in detail the fence bar 30 connected to the fence support profile 20 in the installed position. In this side view, the fence support profile 20 and the guide groove 25, into which the fastening bolt 40 of the fence slat 30 is inserted, can be seen particularly clearly. The free end 41 of the fastening bolt 40 has a fastening head 45 transversely to the bolt axis 42. The fastening bolt 40 is fastened here to the rear 31 of the fence bar 30.
FIG. 4 shows diagonally from the front the connection illustrated in FIG. 3 in the installed position, a spacer element 70 being visible here, which is inserted into the guide groove 25 by means of locking means 72 or fastened therein. The spacer element 70 serves to fix the positions of the fence slats 30 in relation to the guide groove 25 of the fence support profile.
Fig. 5 shows in detail the connection of the fence support profile 20 and the batten 30 by means of a fastening bolt 40. The fastening bolt 40 is fastened here with a fastening screw 50 to the rear 31 of the batten 30, a central notch 33 in the longitudinal direction of the batten 30 representing the positioning of the fastening screw 50 relieved. 5, a spacer element 70 is already inserted in the guide groove 25 in the space 60 between the adjacent fence slats 30.

FIG. 6 shows a rear side of a fence batten 30 with an attached mounting template 100 for mounting a fastening bolt 40. With the aid of this mounting template 100, the correct position for fastening a fastening bolt 40 can be determined quickly and easily. This bolt 40 projects with its bolt axis 42 essentially perpendicularly from the rear 31 of the fence bar 30. The fastening bolt 40 is mounted here exactly in the middle of the width in the area of the central notch 33.
Fig. 7 illustrates obliquely from the front a fence field 10 when hanging in a profile holder 80, which is fastened to a fastening element 200, for example on a fence post or a building wall. The fence field 10 shown here is placed with the free support profile end 23 of the fence support profile 20 on its lower support profile side 24 in a first mounting part 81 of the profile holder 80. The first holding part 81 is fixed in place, for example by screwing, to the fastening element 200. For this purpose, a second mounting part 82 of the profile holder 80 is slipped onto the first mounting part 81 of the profile holder 80 in the direction of arrow 88, the second mounting part 82 encompassing the first mounting part 81 and the free support profile end 23.
FIG. 8 shows the fence field 10 shown in FIG. 7 then already attached in the installed position to the two-part profile holder 80. The second mounting part 82 engages around the first mounting part 81 and thus encloses the free support profile end 23, as a result of which the fence field 10 is fixed in its position.
The two figures FIG. 9 and FIG. 10 each show such a profile holder 80. FIG. 9 relates to the profile holder 80 in the closed position with connected holding parts 81, 82. FIG. 10 shows the profile holder shown in FIG. 9 in an isometric exploded view Open position with two separate mounting parts 81, 82. On the first mounting part, a U-shaped shell profile 85 of the first mounting part 81 can be seen, in which the free support profile end 23, not shown here, of a fence panel 10 can be inserted. Furthermore, the first mounting part 81 of the profile holder 80 has an elongated hole 84 with which it can be screwed, for example, to a fastening element 300. To fix the attached position of the second mounting part 82, the first mounting part 81 has latching elements 86 on each side, which can be brought into engagement with complementary fastening elements 87 of the second mounting part 82. For this purpose, as shown in FIG. 10, only the second mounting part 82 has to be plugged onto the first mounting part 81 in the direction of arrow 88.
FIG. 11 shows a front view of a fence system 1 with a fence field 10, in which the substantially vertically arranged fence battens 30 are at an angle of inclination α
9.21
G2434 are fixed between the fence support profile 20 and the fence bar 30. Due to the fact that each fence batten 30 is articulated in a guide groove 25 of a fence support profile 20 only with a fastening bolt 40, the angle of inclination α between the fence support profile and the fence batten shown in FIG. 12 can be adjusted easily and without tools. For example, terrain inclinations can be easily taken into account when installing the fence panels.
12 shows an oblique view of a fence system 1 with a fence field 10, in which a fence bar 30 is fastened to an inclined fence support profile 20.
13 illustrates a further embodiment of a fence system 1 according to the invention with an ornamental fence. In the spaces 60 of the guide grooves 25 between the fastening bolts 40, spacer elements 70 are inserted by means of detents 72. This ensures the same distance between the fence slats 30 of this ornamental fence.
FIG. 14 shows in detail from the side a fence batten 30 illustrated in FIG. 13 in a position fastened to the fence support profile. Here too, the spacing elements 70 together with detents 72 can be seen in their position within the guide grooves 25.
15 shows a further embodiment of a fence system 1 according to the invention with a picket fence. Here, too, the spacer elements 70, which are inserted into the guide grooves 25 by means of detents 72, ensure that the distances between the fence slats 30 of this palisade fence are always the same.
FIG. 16 shows in detail diagonally from above the connection of the fence support profile 20 and the fence bar 30 of the fence system 1 shown in FIG. 15.
