description
Lighting device for a vehicle
Technical area
The invention relates to a lighting device for a vehicle, in particular for a rail vehicle.
State of the art
The illumination of passenger compartments in vehicles, in particular passenger rail vehicles, is preferably carried out by means of bulbs arranged behind light-permeable covers. Accessibility to these bulbs is typically given by the fact that these covers are designed to be removable. For this purpose, suitable closures or glands are provided, which are accessible from the passenger compartment. However, for aesthetic reasons or to reduce vandalism, such closures are undesirable in certain applications. The use of light-emitting diodes (LED) as a light source has enabled embodiments of passenger compartment lighting, in which no direct accessibility of the bulbs is given more and these are arranged behind fixed translucent covers. At this installation position maintenance of the light source is possible only after disassembly of larger assemblies, such as the roof panel of a rail vehicle. The expected life of LEDs can often not be achieved in practical operation, so that an exchange of LED bulbs is required. For this purpose, according to the prior art either the provision of a removable translucent cover or the dismantling of large assemblies is required.
Presentation of the invention
The invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide an illumination device for a vehicle, which can be equipped with a fixed translucent cover and still maintenance, in particular replacement of defective bulbs can be done easily.
The object is achieved by a lighting device for a vehicle having the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments are the subject of the subordinate claims.
According to the basic idea of the invention, a lighting device for a vehicle is constructed which comprises a sliding guide connected to the vehicle and a plurality of lighting modules, wherein the lighting modules are mutually chain-shaped and flexibly connectable and are each equipped with at least one guide pin, which for positive engagement in the sliding guide is formed.
As a result, the advantage can be achieved, a
Lighting device to be able to build from lighting modules, which is guided along its installation position by means of a sliding guide and which can be introduced at the ends of the sliding guide in this and moved along the sliding guide. For installation and for
Disassembly of the lighting modules is thus only an accessibility of the ends of the sliding guide required, the intermediate portion of the slide or the lighting device can be closed, for example, with fixed translucent covers.
According to the invention, a plurality of lighting modules are connected to each other in a chain-like and flexible manner and, in this combination, can each be introduced successively into the sliding guide in a form-fitting manner. It is particularly advisable to move this assembly of lighting modules along the sliding guide by means of a cable or cord. In this way, in contrast to insertion of the assembly of illumination modules into the sliding guide, tilting of the guide pins in the sliding guide can be reliably prevented.
It is particularly advantageous to form the guide pins for both the positive engagement in the sliding guide and the chain-like flexible connection of the lighting modules with each other. As a result, the advantage can be achieved to be able to implement both functionalities by means of a component and thus to be able to realize a cost-saving illumination device. The guide pin penetrates both coming to the connection lighting modules and thereby forms a hinge between each adjacent lighting modules. Furthermore, the guide pin has a form-fitting engagement in the sliding guide suitable shape, by means of which it is slidably mounted in this slide.
Inventive lighting modules can be carried out particularly advantageous as so-called boards, arranged on these boards bulbs. In this case, light emitting diodes (LED) can be used.
The sliding guide for the positive engagement of the guide pin is preferably carried out with a C-shaped cross section. This sliding can be performed for example as a molding of a light metal extrusion. This is particularly advantageous, since in the ceiling region of a vehicle light metal extrusions are very often arranged, which perform other tasks such as the leadership of lines, air ducts or the like, so that a sliding can be added very easily.
The sliding guide or the lighting device may extend in a linear manner, for example along the longitudinal axis of a vehicle, or it may comprise at least one curved section along its course. In this way, even round lighting devices can be realized.
Particularly advantageous is the use of representational invention, when the lighting device extends along a longitudinal axis of the vehicle and the lighting modules can be eingespurt on the front sides of the vehicle interior in the sliding guides. In this way, the entire course of the translucent cover can be permanently installed, which is advantageous from a design point of view and to ward off vandalism.

Embodiment of the invention
Fig.l shows an example and schematically a longitudinal section through a lighting device. It is a longitudinal section through a portion of a lighting device 1 shown, which is installation position. The lighting device 1 comprises a plurality of lighting modules 3, equipped with lighting means 5, which are connected to one another like a chain. This connection is made by a respective two adjacent lighting modules 3 penetrating guide pin 4. This guide pin 4 is through holes in the
Lighting modules 3 out and allows a mutual rotational mobility of each connected lighting modules 3 about the longitudinal axis of the guide pin 4. The other end of the guide pin 4 is provided with a molding for engagement in a sliding guide 2, in which it is slidably mounted. In this way, a chain of lighting modules 3 is formed, which can be tracked successively on their guide pin 4 in the sliding guide 2 and the course of the sliding guide 2, even if this includes curved sections can follow. The lighting device 1 is closed with a translucent cover 6, which allows the light which is emitted by the lighting means 5 to pass through. This translucent cover 6 may be fixed, since an introduction or removal of the lighting modules 3 can take place from one end of the sliding guide 2 and a direct access to the lighting modules 3 along its installation position is not required.
2 shows by way of example and schematically a cross section through a lighting device. A section through the illumination device 1 from FIG. 1 is shown transversely to the longitudinal axis of the sliding guide 2. In particular, the positive engagement of the guide pin 4 in the sliding guide 2 can be seen. In the region of the bore through which the guide pin 4 penetrates the illumination modules 3, these illumination modules naturally overlap. The sliding guide 2 is designed as a so-called C-rail.
3 shows by way of example and schematically a lighting device. An oblique view of an illumination device 1 in the installed position is shown, which comprises a plurality of illumination modules 3, which are connected to one another in a chain-like manner by means of guide pins 4. The guide pins 4 engage positively with one of their ends in a sliding guide 2, which is executed in the illustrated embodiment as a curved C-rail.
The lighting modules 3 are electrically interconnected by means of connecting cable 7. The length of the connecting cable 7 is to be dimensioned to the minimum bending radii of the chain of lighting modules 3. A translucent cover 6 is firmly connected to an interior trim and not removable without very expensive disassembly work.
