The invention relates to a sealing profile for sealing a window or door sill in the region of a window sill following an external insulation.
Following an external facade of window sills or door frames, especially when connecting a sill to a window sill, often leakage problems occur, in particular in the presence of an external insulation of the entry of rain or condensation in the area between the wall and insulation must be prevented. Furthermore, care must be taken to avoid cold spots in the connection area of the windowsill.
In this context, for example, from DE 297 05 215 Ul a frame profile has become known, in which outside a blind frame or transport frame is clipped, the cheeks serve to plant and attach an inner and an outer sill. In the inner sill an insulating strip between the window-side end of the sill and the transport frame is provided. The outer sill is located on an obliquely outwardly sloping area of leveling mortar on a non-insulated wall and is attached directly to the outer cheek of the transport profile. Disadvantageously, there is a cold bridge in the attachment area of the outer sill, which consists of an angled sheet metal part, wherein further only one sealing level is present, which can solve the leakage problem in this area only inadequate.
Furthermore, from DE 298 03 562 Ul a window frame with an attached window sill made of angled sheet metal is known, which spans an external insulation, on which an external plaster is applied. The window sill has a connection fold which is fastened directly to the wooden window sill with the interposition of a narrow sealing strip.
The object of the invention is, starting from the prior art, to improve a sealing profile for sealing a door or window stock in the area of a window sill in such a way that, in the presence of external insulation, both the leakage problem is solved and unnecessary cold bridges are avoided.
The object is achieved by a sealing profile, which is characterized by the following features: - an angle section with a crossbar and a holding leg, which is designed for attachment to a transport profile of the door or window stock, - attached to the holding leg and beyond projecting, elastic Sealing tab for support and attachment to the outer insulation, and - an insulating core attached to the retaining leg, which rests sealingly after mounting the sealing profile on the transport profile.
The sealing profile according to the invention with the elastic sealing flap practically represents a second sealing plane, if one looks at the window sill arranged thereon as the first sealing plane. The sealing profile ensures a permanent seal and through the arranged on the retaining leg insulating core for the required thermal insulation in the connection area of the windowsill. The cross-section of the insulating core can be adapted to the respective dimensions of the transport profile, so that the space between wall and door or window stock is optimally filled.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the transverse web of the angle profile is dimensioned such that it engages after the assembly of the sealing profile in a receiving groove of the door or window sill profile.
The invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to exemplary embodiments. The individual figures show:

The sealing profile 1 according to the invention is used for sealing a door or window stock in the area of a window sill, wherein two variants of the installation situation in FIGS. 2 and 3 are shown.
The sealing profile 1 consists essentially of an angle section 2 with a transverse web 3 and a preferably right angle adjoining support leg 4, which is designed for fastening the sealing profile 1 to a blind frame or transport profile of the door or window stock. On the retaining leg 4, an elastic sealing flap 5 is fixed, which protrudes beyond the applied edge of the crosspiece 3 of the retaining leg and serves for support and attachment to the outer insulation. On the outer side 12 of the retaining leg 4, an insulating core 6 is fixed, which rests sealingly after the assembly of the sealing profile 1 on the transport profile of the window or door sash.
In Fig. 2 shows a variant of the installation situation of the sealing profile 1 according to the invention is shown, namely on the basis of a window frame 20 to which a transport profile 21 is fixed in a known manner. The lateral cheeks 28, 29 of the transport profile 21 are used for fastening an inner (not shown) and an outer sill 22. With 27, a wall or concrete or wooden wall is referred to, which is an outer insulation 23 pre-set. The outer insulation 23 is bevelled falling downwards in the area of the window sill 22 or has a gradient element 24.
The elastic sealing flap 5 of the sealing profile 1 has at its rear side an adhesive layer 11, which serves to fix it to the outer insulation 23 or to the gradient element 24. By the elastic sealing flap 5, the gap between the insulating layer 23, 24 and the wall 27 is bridged, whereby the penetration of rain or condensation water is effectively prevented in this area.
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, the transverse web 3 of the angle profile 2 is dimensioned such that it engages after the assembly of the sealing profile 1 in a receiving groove 25 of the door or window frame profile 20. A sealing strip 7 on the outside of the transverse web 3 may preferably be designed as a double-sided adhesive tape, which adheres sealingly after removal of a protective tape 8 (see FIG. 1) on the window stock 20.
The retaining leg 4, for example, by gluing, fixed insulating core 6 has on the side facing away from the holding leg 4 an adhesive layer 9, which has a peelable protective tape 10. After assembly of the sealing profile 1, the insulating core 6 is glued to the adhesive layer 9 on the cheek 29 of the transport profile 21 and after insertion of the sill 22 with a fixing means 26 (for example, a screw) attached to the transport profile 21.
The embodiment of FIG. 3 differs from that of FIG. 2 only in that here the cross bar 3 of the angle section 2 rests directly on an outer surface 30 of the door or window stock 20 and is sealed by means of the sealing strip 7.
Instead of the illustrated sill 22 from an angled sheet metal profile, such as aluminum, using the sealing profile 1 according to the invention also a windowsill made of stone can be used, which is also provided for a closed sealing level starting at the door or window stock 20 to the gradient element 24 of the outer insulation 23 ,
