Presentation of the invention The invention is therefore based on the object of specifying a rail vehicle with a driver's desk, which allows a change between automatic and manual ferry operation with minimal effort. According to the input and output devices of the driver's desk in the stowed position of the driver's desk are inaccessible. A further advantageous embodiment of the invention provides to arrange the driver's desk table slidably mounted in a driver's console attachment and releasably attach this leader-console attachment to the structure of the rail vehicle. As a result, the advantage can be achieved to provide a separate, removable unit, which includes all the necessary modules (driver's desk, sliding guide, lock, cover and interfaces of the control lines, etc.), which can be tested for themselves and which when installed in the rail vehicle only must be more attached to the vehicle structure and connected to the vehicle electronics. As a result, the cost of installing a cab can be further reduced. Exemplary invention is particularly suitable for use with a frontal emergency exit door, since in such rail vehicles, the interior of this emergency exit door naturally must remain free of internals. Conventional vehicles according to this design principle usually have a centrally located driver's seat and the operating devices are typically arranged on both sides of the driver. The ergonomically better position immediately in front of the driver is not usable. With objective invention, however, it succeeds to optimally arrange even in the aforementioned vehicles, the controls and not to hinder the function of a frontal emergency exit door. Furthermore, it is particularly advantageous that with objective invention of the conversion of a manually operated rail vehicle in a fully automatic operation is particularly simple, in addition, the driver's cab is used as a passenger compartment. After dismantling the driver's seat and the partition wall, the driver's compartment can be used directly as a passenger compartment, since the control and display devices are protected by the shop-like construction against unauthorized access. Embodiment of the invention Fig.l shows an example and schematically a driver's console in a view from above. It is shown a plan view of the interior of a rail vehicle 1, wherein in a corner of this interior, a driver's desk is arranged. The direction of travel of the rail vehicle 1 is oriented upward. The driver's desk comprises a driving table table 2, which is slidingly mounted by means of two sliding guides 6. The driver's desk 2 is equipped with the control and display devices 3 required for controlling the rail vehicle 1. The driver's desk 2 is slidable between two end positions, it is the inserted end position 7 and the ejected end position 8 in Fig.l marked. The driver's desk 2 is located in the picture shown in an intermediate position. In the retracted end position 7 of the driver's desk 2 is oriented so that the control and display devices 3 are completely hidden by a cover surrounding the driver's table 2 cover. 2 shows an example and schematically driver's desk in a view in the direction of travel.
