In the industrial production of packs of cold cuts, large food processing machines are used which cut up sausage bars and, in some cases, pack tightly with fumigation for a long shelf life. For an individualized, location-specific and needs-based delicatessen supply, these high-quality slices are prepared on site and also directly in front of the customers by means of versatile cut-to-size machines with a depositing device and also shrink-wrapped in foil packages. There are very compact film dispensers with transfer devices and small film sealing devices, which can also be used instead of a tray directly on a cut-to-size cutting machine. All of these components can be operated independently of each other or in sub-combinations together with price marking devices that contain a scale. Especially expedient is the juxtaposition of a film dispenser with transfer device and a film welding device on a cut-to-size cutting machine. The latter controls in synchronism with the depositing process of sausage or the like, the film dispenser, the transfer device and the film welder, so that a packet of several layers of sausage or the like.
