Lighting device for a motor vehicle headlight
The invention relates to a lighting device for a motor vehicle headlight, comprising at least one light module for emitting visible light, at least one optical component deflecting and / or shaping the light of the light module, and a mounting module connected to the light module, in which the at least one optical component is mounted the lighting module comprises at least one laser light source and a light conversion element, wherein the light of the at least one laser light source is directed to the light conversion element, which converts the light to visible light and radiates into the optical component.
Furthermore, the invention relates to a motor vehicle headlight with at least one lighting device according to the invention.
Lighting devices have become known from the prior art, in which lighting modules are firmly connected to the downstream optical component, the optical component projecting the light emitted by the lighting module, for example onto a roadway. The light image generated thereby is therefore dependent on both the light distribution of the light module and the optical properties of the optical component. Errors that may arise, for example, due to tolerance inaccuracies in the production of the light module and the optical component, or may be caused by an inaccurate positioning of the optical component with respect to the light module, lead to deviations from a desired light image.
An object of the invention is therefore to provide a lighting device with which a desired light image can be generated in a simple manner and that, although individual components of the lighting device may be subject to certain manufacturing inaccuracies. This object is achieved with a lighting device of the type mentioned above in that according to the invention the mounting module has at least a first and a second guide means, wherein the optical component in relation to the light conversion element by means of the first Fiihrungsmittel in a first direction and by means of the second Fiihrungsmittel in a second direction is displaceable, wherein the first and the second direction differ from each other.
Thanks to the invention, it is possible to shift the optical component with respect to the light-emitting light conversion element, and thus compensate for erroneous positions of the light conversion element, the center of light distribution on the light conversion element and the optical component.
The displacement along the first and second directions is typically a straight line motion. The light of the at least one laser light source can be directed directly at the light conversion element, or can be directed to the light conversion element via various optical components.
Preferably, it may be provided that the lighting module comprises a housing enclosing the laser light source and the light conversion element and the mounting module comprises a support element which is adapted to receive the optical component, wherein the support element is displaceable by means of the first guide means with respect to the housing, wherein the first Guide means acts directly on the housing. The first guide means may, for example, be rail-like guide grooves which may be arranged in an outer region of the housing when the support element engages by means of corresponding projections. This is a particularly kostengiinstiger, compact and simple design given.
Alternatively, it can be provided that the light module comprises a laser light source and the light conversion element enclosing housing and the support module comprises a support member and an adapter element, wherein the support member is adapted to receive the optical component and the adapter member is fixedly connected to the housing, wherein the support member engages the adapter element by means of the first guide means and is displaceable with respect to the adapter element. By providing an adapter element, a plurality of different light modules for the lighting device according to the invention can be used by the adapter element can be easily connected to the respective light module.
Of course, a displacement with respect to the housing or adapter implies a displacement with respect to the light conversion element.
In order to achieve a particularly simple construction lighting device, it can be provided that the second guide means is arranged on the support element, wherein the optical component is displaceable by means of the second guide means with respect to the support element.
In particular, it can be provided that the first and the second direction are oriented normal to each other. This enables a particularly efficient position, wherein the movements in the two directions are linearly independent of each other and so unwanted mutual influences can be avoided. For the purposes of this disclosure, the expression "normally oriented to one another" means an arrangement which is an included angle between 85 and 95 °.
It can be particularly favorable when a displacement position in the first and / or second direction can be fixed in each case by means of an adjusting screw. In particular, it may be provided that the support member has an opening for receiving a first adjusting screw, wherein the first adjusting screw engages in a screw thread of the adapter element and / or the housing of the light module, wherein a disposed between the support member and the light module first spring element, the support member presses in the direction of the screw head of the first adjusting screw in a rest position. Thus, a particularly robust and at the same time simple adjustment of the optical component in the first direction can be achieved. If an adapter element is arranged on the light module, the spring element can of course also be arranged between the adapter and the carrier element. A particularly practicable arrangement of the first spring element can be achieved in that the first spring element is a hollow-cylindrical rubber element which is arranged between the lighting module and the support element and covers the first adjusting screw.
To prevent inadvertent complete unscrewing of the first adjusting screw, it can be provided that the adapter and / or the housing of the lighting module has a first stop for limiting the displacement movement of the support member in the direction of the spring force of the first spring element. If the adjusting screw unscrewed so far that a corresponding surface of the support member contacts the first stop, so leads a further unscrewing the
Adjustment screw to no further movement of the support member, whereby a maximum deflection is recognizable.
In order to prevent a crushing or destruction of the first spring element, it can be provided that a second stop is arranged between the lighting module and the support element, which limits the displacement movement of the support element against the direction of the spring force of the first spring element.
It may be particularly favorable when the second guide means is arranged on the support element, wherein the optical component is displaceable by means of the second guide means with respect to the support member. In addition, it can be provided that the second guide means has at least one guide rail protruding from the support element, in which the optical component is displaceably mounted, wherein a closing element which can be fastened to the guide rail is arranged at the protruding end of the guide rail, which movement of the optical component toward the optical system Limited end of the Fiihrungsschiene, wherein on the support member engages a second spring element which driickt the optical component in the direction of the end of Fiihrungsschiene and the end member has a second adjusting screw, by means of which the optical component against the spring force of the second spring element is displaceable. This provides a particularly robust and at the same time simple arrangement for displacing the optical component in the second direction.
It may be particularly advantageous if the optical component has a Einstellschräge, on which rests a portion of the second adjusting screw, which is also referred to as the engagement portion, wherein the Einstellschräge and the engagement portion are arranged such that an axial displacement of the second adjustment screw in a sliding movement of the optical component is converted in or against the second direction. The engagement portion is preferably designed conical. It may be particularly advantageous if the second adjusting screw passes through the closure element, wherein on one side of the end element of the screw head of the adjusting screw is arranged and disposed on the opposite side of the engaging portion, wherein the engaging portion has a the closing element facing stop surface, preferably the Screw head also has a the end member facing stop surfaces. The stop surfaces limit the respective movement.
In order to allow a particularly simple adjustment by an adjustment tool guided by a user or robot arm, it can be provided that the first and second adjustment screws are oriented substantially parallel to one another, whereby adjustment of both adjustment screws can take place from a common direction.
In order to facilitate the setting process and to propose a starting value for a manual adjustment, it can be provided that reference markings are arranged on the light module, which indicate a neutral position of the displacement position in the first and second direction, wherein the reference marks from at least one common direction, preferably oriented parallel to the adjusting screws, are visible. The reference marks can be arranged, for example, on the support element. A neutral position is understood to be the position of the optical component with respect to the light conversion element along the first and second directions, at which the desired light image is achieved when the entire lighting device is free from manufacturing and assembly inaccuracies.
In particular, it can be provided that the optical component comprises a lens and / or a reflector, in particular a hyperbolic reflector with a lens.
In addition, a separate heat sink can be arranged on the light module.
Furthermore, the invention relates to a motor vehicle headlight with at least one lighting device according to the invention.

The optical component 3 may likewise be a lens system consisting of at least one lens, combinations of lenses and / or reflectors or, in principle, any other optical components that are suitable for imaging a light image for illumination purposes. The
Lighting device 1 further has a mounting module 4 connected to the lighting module 2, which in the embodiment shown has two components, namely an adapter 4a and a support element 4b, which interact in the manner described below. The mounting module 4 is adapted for the slidable receiving of the optical component 3. As can be seen in particular in Figure 3, which shows a schematic representation of the light module 2, this comprises at least one laser light source 2a and a light conversion element 2b (eg a phosphor), wherein light of the at least one laser light source 2a is directed to the conversion element 2b, which the laser light converted into visible light and radiates into the optical component 3. Common lighting modules 2 often comprise a plurality of laser light sources 2a whose laser light is directed to a conversion element 2b.
The support module 4 has, as will be discussed in more detail in the following figures, guide means 4b 'and 4h with which the optical component 3 can be displaced with respect to the conversion element 2b in a first direction x and a second direction z, the directions x and z are different.
Figure 2 shows a perspective view of the light module 2, which is additionally equipped with a heat sink 5 for cooling its electronic components, wherein the heat sink 5 is not shown in the following figures for clarity. The laser light source 2 a is enclosed by a housing 2 c, in which the light conversion element 2 b is enclosed.
FIG. 4 shows a perspective view of the lighting module 2 with an adapter element 4a arranged thereon. The adapter element 4a is pushed onto the lighting module 2 and fastened to the lighting module 2, for example by means of screws 4c or other suitable means, so that the adapter element 4a is firmly connected to the lighting module 2. The adapter element 4a further has a first stop 4d for limiting the displacement movement of the carrying element 4b in the direction of the spring force of a first spring element 7a shown in FIGS. 5 and 6. This first stop 4d is typically mounted after the mounting of the support member 4b and is formed as a screw in the embodiment shown. The adapter element 4a has on its opposite sides in each case a recess 4a ', which is adapted to receive and guide the engagement sections 4b' of the bearing element 4b, which engage in the recess 4a '. The first guide means is formed by the engagement of the engagement portion 4b 'in the recess 4a'. Naturally, any other arrangements and possibilities are known to those skilled in the art, which allow a leadership of the support module 4 in the first direction x. For example, instead of depressions 4b ', protrusions could be provided on adapter element 4a, which engage in corresponding guide grooves on support element 4b. Embodiments are also conceivable in which the adapter element 4a can be dispensed with and the carrying element 4b acts directly on the lighting module 2, for example if the lighting module 2 is already connected to the guide means 4b 'of FIG
Supporting element 4b corresponding components, in particular Vorsprtingen or wells, is equipped.
FIG. 5 shows a perspective view of the lighting module 2 with a carrying element 4b engaging on the adapter element 4a. The support element 4b is displaceably mounted on the adapter element 4a in the first direction x and has a projection 4c which is adapted to contact a first stop 4d at a maximum deflection of the support element 4b and thus a further displacement in the first direction X. to prevent. The support member 4b further includes an opening 4f for receiving a first adjusting screw 8a, wherein the adjusting screw 8a engages in a screw thread of the adapter element 4a and or the housing 2c of the light module 2, wherein between the adapter element 4a and the light module 2, a first spring element 7a is arranged. The first spring element 7a is adapted to press the support element 4b in the direction of the screw head of the adjusting screw 8a in a rest position and is formed as a between the light module 2 and adapter element 4a and the support member 4b, the adjusting screw 8a sheathing, hollow cylindrical rubber element. FIG. 6 shows a detail view thereof.
This is a second stop 4g recognizable, which is arranged between the light module 2 and adapter element 4a and the support member 4b and limits the sliding movement of the support member 4b against the direction of the spring force of the first spring element 7a. This can prevent excessive squeezing of the spring element 7 A and associated damage. By the two stops 4d and 4g, the adjustment range for the displacement of the support member 4b with respect to the housing 2c and the conversion element 2b arranged therein can be limited to a reasonable degree.
For displacing the optical component 3 in a second direction z, a second guide means 4h is provided, which is arranged on the support element 4b and will now be discussed in more detail with reference to FIGS. 7 to 9.
The second guide means 4h consists, in the embodiment shown, of two guide rails projecting from the support element 4b, which are arranged to hold the optical component 3 displaceably in the second direction z. Of course, the second guide means 4h can also be designed differently, as long as a guide in the second direction z is possible. The optical component 3 is slidably mounted in the guide rail 4h, wherein, as shown in Figure 9, at the protruding end of the guide rails 4h a closing element 9 arranged (or fastened to the end of the guide rails), which the movement of the optical component 3 towards limited to the end of the guide rails. The closing element 9 has a second adjusting screw 8b, which passes through the closing element 9, wherein on one side of the closing element 9 of the screw head of the screw 8b is arranged and on the opposite side an engagement portion is arranged, which is designed conical in the embodiment shown. The engagement section has a stop face 8b "facing the closing element 9, which limits the maximum adjustment of the adjusting screw 8b with respect to the closing element 9. It can also be provided that a further stop face 8b 'facing the closing element 9 is provided on the screw head In such a case, the closing element 9 can be made in two pieces, in order to receive and enclose the adjusting screw 8b between the two sections The screw connections, by means of which the closing element 9 is arranged on the guide rails 4h, can be used for the fixed connection of the two parts become.
As can be clearly seen in FIG. 8, the optical component 3 has a setting bevel 3 a on which the engagement section of the second adjusting screw 8 b rests, the adjusting bevel 3 a and the engaging section being arranged such that an axial displacement of the second adjusting screw 8 b results in a displacement movement of the optical component 3 is converted in or against the second direction z.
FIG. 7 shows a second spring element 7b arranged on the carrying element 4b, which presses the optical component 3 in the direction of the end of the guide rails 4a, thereby ensuring that the setting bevel 3a is pressed against the engagement section of the second adjusting screw 8b and thus a defined rest position of the optical component 3 is determined. The second spring element 7b is advantageously seated in a recess in the support element 4b (clearly visible in FIG. 5), whereby on the one hand the position of the spring element 7b is secured laterally and in addition excessive crushing and thus damage to the spring element 7b can be prevented, because the support member 4b the
Displacement movement of the optical element 3 limited in the spring force of the spring element 7b opposite direction.
As can be seen in FIGS. 5, 7, 8 and 9, reference marks 10 are arranged on the support module 4, in the exemplary embodiment shown concretely on the support element 4b, which indicate a neutral position of the displacement position in the first or second direction, preferably the reference marks 10 can be viewed from at least one common viewing direction BR. These reference marks 10 may be formed, for example, as notches or protrusions.
This is e.g. clearly visible in Figure 1, which shows the lighting system 1 according to the invention in an assembled state. Therein, the adjusting screws 8a and 8b are oriented parallel to each other, whereby they can be easily reached by a user without requiring access from different directions.
The illumination device 1 according to the invention allows the adjustment of the optical component 3 with respect to the conversion element 2b in a simple manner, namely a displacement in the already described first and second directions x, z, wherein the first and the second direction x, z differ from each other - preferably are oriented normal to each other. In a motor vehicle headlight with the lighting device 1 according to the invention, the directions x and z are preferably selected such that in a vehicle-mounted state of the vehicle headlight the direction x coincides with the main driving direction of the vehicle (so-called vehicle longitudinal axis) and the direction z of the vertical axis (so-called vertical axis) corresponds.
In view of this teaching, the skilled person will be able to arrive at other, not shown embodiments of the invention. The invention is therefore not limited to the embodiment shown. Essential are the ideas underlying the invention, which can be performed by a person skilled in the knowledge of this description in a variety of ways and still remain maintained as such.
