    Duvets or pillows are obtained in a conventional manner without technical aids. In particular, in hotels, hospitals, retirement homes or similar institutions with a high number of beds, this activity is not only a time-consuming, but also a physically strenuous activity. Covering a duvet or a pillow with a fresh cover is usually made at the location of the bed in question, with a fresh cover is carried, the old cover is removed and thrown into a dirty laundry and the blanket or the pillow is provided with a clean cover.
    It is the object of the invention to make this operation easier for the corresponding personnel, so that the covering of comforters or cushions with fresh coverings can be made faster and less physically strenuous. The time savings will also provide economic benefits to the operator of high-bed facilities.

    The support plate can sometimes have large dimensions.     A technical challenge is the one-sided storage of the support plate, since it must have a similar size to the duvet for covering duvets, but can only be stored on one side to allow the coating of a cover, for which it is proposed the support plate is a stainless steel sheet. A stainless steel sheet has the rigidity required to allow one-sided storage for a blanket equivalent dimension.     The two opposite sides with the sliding edges 2a, 2b represent a first and a second side of the support plate 1. On a third side of the support plate 1, it is mounted on one side of the support frame 3. On the third side opposite the fourth side of the support plate 1, according to the embodiment of Figs. 1 and 2, a clamping mechanism 4 is further arranged for the blanket. The clamping mechanism 4 is formed in the present embodiment as a pivotable clamp, which has a depending on the pivot position in a different distance to the Aufiagefläche movable clamping edge 4a. The pivot axis of the clamp crosses the support surface.     The operation of the subject device is now as follows. A covered duvet is placed on the horizontal support plate 1, so that it comes to rest between the sliding edges 2a, 2b. The open side of the cover lies on the third side of the support plate 1, and the closed side of the cover on the opposite fourth side. A first person is on the third side of the platen 1 and holds the blanket firmly, while a second person, who is located on the opposite fourth side of the platen 1, deducts the cover. This process is simple in itself and would require no device according to the invention.
    The great advantage of the device according to the invention is now apparent when coating the new cover. The clamping mechanism 4 is thereby initially pivoted so that the clamping edge 4a is placed on the side facing away from the direction of the loading of the new cover side of the pivot axis on the blanket. The relationship is oriented in relation to FIG. 2 from the right front to the left rear, or in other words from the fourth side of the platen 1 to its third side. The new cover is subsequently gestiilpt on the fourth side of the support plate 1 on the support plate 1 and lying on her duvet and pulled in the direction of the third side of the support plate 1. This process can be accomplished most easily by two persons, each located at the two opposite first and second sides of the support plate 1 with the sliding edges 2a, 2b.     Once the two persons have reached the third side of the support plate 1, the blanket is covered with the new cover. In any case, the coating of blankets and pillows is considerably simplified for the corresponding staff, so that coverings of bedspreads or pillows with fresh contents can be carried out more quickly and physically less strenuously. The movement process can be made more ergonomic for the corresponding persons by avoiding frequent stooping. The time savings also offer economic benefits for the operator of facilities with a high number of beds. It would be conceivable to centrally provide a device according to the invention and perform the coating of duvets and pillows in stock to be able to transport the already folded and freshly covered duvets and pillows to the beds if necessary.
