Piste device and method for operating the same
The invention relates to a piste device for the preparation of ski slopes, comprising a snow groomer and a winch with a rope to support a drive of the snow groomer on a ground.
Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for operating a piste device with a snow groomer and a winch.
Various piste equipment have become known from the prior art, which usually have a winch in addition to a crawler to prepare steep ski slopes. The winch is arranged in each case behind a driver's cab on the snow groomer. When preparing a steep ski slope, a cable connected to the winch is fastened to a mast at a mountain-side mounting position, for example, and the snow groomer is pulled by the winch over the ski slope to the mounting position. As a result, steeper slopes can be prepared than would be possible with the caterpillar drive alone.
The caterpillar drive and the winch of the snow groomer are usually powered by a diesel engine, which has an output of 250 kW to 350 kW. In addition to the caterpillar drive and the winch, normally a milling shaft for slope preparation and a shield for pushing a snow in front of the snow groomer are driven by the diesel engine. Since several units are thus driven by the diesel engine, only a small amount of power is available for ascending or pulling the snow groomer by means of the cable winch over a steep slope. A power required for this purpose is defined in particular by a slope and a weight to be moved, with prior art snow groomers having a mass of about 9000 kg to 13000 kg. Therefore, only low speed preparation is possible.
It has been shown that faster preparation is also not possible with stronger diesel engines, since more powerful engines have a higher weight and thus would additionally increase a mass of the snow groomer. In addition,
Piste equipment of the prior art when preparing the disadvantage of a high fuel consumption of about 25 liters per hour.
This is where the invention starts. The object of the invention is to provide a piste device of the type mentioned, which allows dissection with very high speed and reduced fuel consumption, even on steep slopes.
In addition, a method of the aforementioned type is to be specified, with which a preparation of a ski slope with very high speed and reduced fuel consumption is possible.
The first object is achieved by a piste device of the type mentioned, in which the winch separately from the snow groomer at a mounting position fixed to the ground is connectable.
In the context of the invention, it has been recognized that a speed with which the snow groomer is moved over the ground like a ski slope can be increased and a fuel consumption can be reduced if the winch is arranged separately from the snow groomer. Thus, with such an arrangement, it is not necessary to move the winch as well as a drive for the same with the snow groomer during preparation over the ski slope, whereby the mass to be moved during preparation of the ski slope can be substantially reduced, as a rule by about 1500 kg , As a result, a fuel consumption when preparing the ski slope can be reduced. Since the winch is not moved when preparing, the winch can be designed with a very powerful and powerful drive in a separate arrangement to achieve a particularly fast dissection of the ski slope.
It has proven to be favorable that the winch from the snow groomer is actuated. As a result, a preparation of a ski slope by a single person is possible, which is usually located in a driver's cabin of the snow groomer.
Basically, data can be transmitted between the snow groomer and the winch to control the winch from the snow groomer in their own way, for example via the rope that connects the winch with the groomer. A particularly robust control of the winch from the snow groomer is possible if the winch is connected to the snow groomer by a radio link.
In order to move the winch together with a drive for the winch before dissection in a simple manner to the mounting position, it has been proven that the winch with the snow groomer is detachably connectable, so that the winch is transported by the snow groomer to a mounting position. For example, the winch can be connected to a plow blade of the snow groomer in order to move it with the snow groomer to the mounting position. At the mounting position, the winch is usually connected to a moor firmly anchored in the ground or the like. The winch can be dismantled after preparing a runway for another runway. However, it can also be provided that the winch remains for a whole year at the mounting position.
A drive of the winch can in principle be carried out in various ways, for example by an internal combustion engine. For use in ski resorts, in which snow cannons are used to snow the ski slopes, it has proved to be favorable that the winch has an electric motor, which is preferably designed for electrical low voltage, in particular for an electrical voltage of 230 V to 400 V. This can be used to power the snow guns existing electrical line for driving the winch, so that an existing infrastructure can be used. Thus, also eliminates an additional transport of an energy source for winch, which is required, for example, when the drive of the winch is designed as a diesel engine.
The further object is achieved by a method of the type mentioned, in which the winch is moved to a mounting position and connected to the mounting position separately from the snow groomer fixed to a substrate, after which the snow groomer by means of the winch moves over the ground in the direction of the mounting position becomes.
As a result, a mass to be moved during preparation of the ski slope is reduced, which makes it possible to dissect the ski slope at a higher speed and with lower fuel consumption than in prior art methods. In general, the snow groomer is partly moved by the winch and partly by a caterpillar mounted on the snow groomer or the like over the ground, although a movement over a ski slope is only possible by means of the winch.
In order to position the winch even in rough terrain, it has been proven that the winch is moved by the snow groomer to the mounting position. The snow groomer is usually designed as a tracked vehicle and has its own drive, so that the winch can be moved together with the drive for the winch with the snow groomer to the respective mounting position. For a transport of the winch to the mounting position, it is advantageous if the winch is moved by means of a plow blade of the snow groomer to the mounting position. The dozer blade is designed to hold forces stable, which is why a transport of the winch with the same in a simple manner possible.
It is possible to prepare a ski slope with little manpower if the winch is operated by the snow groomer. Usually, an operation of the winch by means of radio.
For particularly rapid uphill is usually provided that the snow groomer is additionally moved by a caterpillar drive in the direction of the mounting position, wherein a speed of the caterpillar drive corresponds to the speed at which a rope is aufgespuit by the winch. A pulling force of the winch is in such a combined drive of winch and crawler drive synchronous to a force with which the snow groomer is moved by the caterpillar drive.
Further advantages, features and effects of the invention will become apparent from the embodiment illustrated below. In the drawings, to which reference is made, show:
Fig. 1 is a piste device of the prior art;
Fig. 2 shows an inventive piste device.
Fig. 1 shows schematically a piste device 1 of the prior art on a sloping ground 6, which serves as a ski slope. As can be seen, the piste device 1 has a trained as a tracked vehicle snow groomer 2 and a winch 3 with a cable 4, wherein the cable 4 is attached to a mountain-side mast 8. The snow groomer 2 is pulled by means of the rope winch 3 arranged on the snow groomer 2 by winding the rope 4 over the ground 6, the ski slope being prepared. In a piste device 1 of the prior art, all units such as a caterpillar drive, a Fräswelie and the winch 3 are driven by a powerful diesel engine. A fuel consumption when preparing the ski slope with the piste device 1 of the prior art, which has a weight of about 9000 kg, 25 liters of diesel per hour.
Fig. 2 shows an inventive piste device 1 also when preparing a ski slope, which is schematically represented by an inclined base 6. As shown, in the piste device 1 according to the invention, the winch 3 is separated from the piste vehicle 2 during the preparation of the ski slope and fixedly and preferably detachably connected to the base 6 at a mounting position 5.
The winch 3 has a drive with an electric motor. Normally, an electrical network for the supply of electric snow guns is used for the energy supply.
One end of the rope 4 is connected to the snow groomer 2, so that when winding the rope 4 by means of the winch 3, the snow groomer 2 is pulled over the ground 6 to the mountain-side mounting position 5. The snow groomer 2 itself has a diesel engine as drive for a caterpillar drive, a milling shaft and the like, so that a movement of the snow groomer 2 on the ground 6 by means of the winch 3 can be supported by the caterpillar drive.
This allows a particularly fast dissection, because a weight of the winch 3 and the wound rope 4, which may have a length of more than one kilometer, do not have to be moved with the groomer 2 over the ski slope. This reduces the weight of the snow groomer 2 by about 1500 kg, so that a diesel consumption during preparation can be reduced to about 15 liters per hour.
Before preparing the winch 3 is usually moved with the snow groomer 2 to the mounting position 5, for example by means of a plow blade 7 of the snow groomer second
