The invention relates to a processing device for the production of dental workpieces, with a housing, a movable relative to the housing holding device for a Formrohiing and a machining tool, with the supply of liquid, especially water, in a processing range of Formrohiing editable.
In the field of manufacturing dentures, there have been many, mostly automatic processing devices for many years. From dental blanks (zircon, ceramic, metal, plastic, wax, etc.), appropriate dental spare parts are milled. In order to catch the milled off from the Formrohiing waste (dust, chips, etc.) and to prevent contamination, suction devices are arranged around the processing area, which suck the dirt immediately. For the construction of such a known "dry" processing device, reference is made to EP 2 247 405 B1.
Since milling can also produce great heat, depending on the material being processed, those processing devices are also used in which a cooling fluid is sprayed into the processing area or onto the mold blank during processing. This prevents overheating. At the same time the weggefräste material is removed or washed out by the liquid. In order to protect the entire components of the processing device from the liquid and from the very small washed-out milling waste, especially the drive components of the processing device must be protected with elaborate seals. Also, to protect the entire environment from liquid spewing around, the components of the processing device are completely surrounded by a mostly watertight housing and thus protected. In such a housing must then be formed in the lowest area and a collecting device in which collects the effluent water and can drain. Such a device is usually very expensive. 14/02/2012 11:17

The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a comparison with the prior art improved or alternative processing device. In particular, no complex seal and no complex liquid protection for all components of the processing device should be given. In addition, should be dispensed with a completely sealed housing with large collection container. Furthermore, a processing device for "dry" processing should simply be convertible or retrofittable to a processing device for "wet" processing.
This is achieved for a processing device with the features of the preamble of claim 1, characterized in that the processing area is at least partially surrounded by a cover device separate from the housing. That is, there is no need to provide a large, watertight housing, but it is the processing area directly surrounded by a relatively small cover. This cover device forms, so to speak, a pot in which the mold blank is arranged or held and in which the processing tool can be retracted ^ for processing the mold blank.
It may preferably be provided that the holding device is movably mounted on a carrier element fastened to the housing, wherein the covering device is arranged between the carrier element and the processing area. Thus, only the holding device and cover device is directly exposed to the liquid and the carrier element and the housing are protected from the liquid and the materials dissolved therein. Thus, only the covering device and the holding device have to be liquid-resistant.
In principle, it should not be ruled out that the covering device is mounted on the housing. However, in order to achieve a protection that acts specifically around the processing area, it is particularly preferred that the covering device is fastened to the holding device. Thus, the cover always moves with the holding device and it is a more compact design possible. Thus, the cover is not the movement of the 14/02/2012 11:18

Holding device in Wegt what, for example, could be the case if the covering would be fixed to the housing or the support element.
It can preferably be provided that the holding device forms the covering device. That is, when retrofitting the cover is placed or applied to the holding device and then together form a splash guard.
The easiest way is the cover device integrally formed and surrounds a large part of the processing area. In particular, in order to guarantee a simple NachrOstbarkeit, it is preferably provided that the covering device comprises a first Abdeckteii and a second cover part. It can be provided that the first, preferably cup-shaped, cover part covers the side facing away from the machining tool side of the processing area. Thus, especially the rear part of the processing area - in which most of the liquid is injected-protected.
However, it can also be additionally provided that the second, preferably annular, cover part surrounds the side of the machining area facing the machining tool. In principle, the covering device could be formed only by the first cover part, in which case an opening for collecting and draining the injected water could then be formed in this first cover part. However, it is preferably provided that the second cover part has a collecting trough for the liquid. Thus, the entire liquid collected within the capping device will flow together in the drip pan.
In principle, it is possible for the processing area to be completely surrounded or enclosed by a covering device. It only has to be guaranteed that the machining tool can enter this machining area.
For this example, could be stretched as possible tear-resistant elastic or resilient protective element between the machine tool and the rest of the cover. However, since little liquid is injected back from the processing area in the direction of the processing tool, it is preferably provided 14/02/2012 11:18
No .: R944 P. 008/022 14/02/2012 11:09 + 43-512-583408 TORGGLER & HOFINGER p. 09/22 4 that the covering device has an opening on the side facing the machining tool. For this purpose, it can preferably be provided that the processing area is surrounded or closed except for the opening of the cover. For the movement of the mold blank may preferably be provided that the holding device has an inner ring and an outer ring, which are arranged Kardardenkenkförmig, wherein the AbdeckvorrichAung is attached to the outer ring. It would also be possible for the cover device to be attached to the inner ring.
The liquid for cooling the processing region can be supplied, for example, from a nozzle in the region of the holding device or from a separate injection device. However, it is preferably provided that a supply device for the liquid is arranged on the processing tool.
Further details and advantages of the present invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to the description of the figures with reference to the exemplary embodiments illustrated in the drawings. Show:
1 is a 3D view of the processing device,
2 shows the carrier element together with holding device and processing tool,
3 shows the holding device together with covering device with a section,
4 shows the first cover part in views and in a section,
5 shows a 3D view of the second cover part with covered collecting trough, FIG. 6 shows a 3D view of the second covering part with open collecting trough, and FIG. 7 shows the second covering part in views and in a section.
In Fig. 1, a Bearbeitungsvomchtung 1 is shown, which has a frame-shaped housing 2. This housing 2 may have walls e.g. made of glass. In this case 2, the main drive elements for the machining tool 5 are shown on the right side, will not be discussed in detail. On the left side, the area is shown, in which the mold blank to be processed 4 14/02/2012 11:18

Between these two areas is a partition 15, in which a passage opening 16 is formed for the machining tool 5. In this passage opening 16 compliant brushes are arranged so that although the machining tool 5 can pass through, but hardly dust or liquid can escape from the left area. The left-hand region has a carrier element 7 which can be moved along a vertical axis. This support element 7 is C-shaped. At the upper end of this C-shaped support element 7, a drive element 17 is arranged, through which the holding device 3 is rotatable about a vertical axis. In the area facing away from the machining tool 5 area of Haltevoriichtung 3, the cup-shaped cover 8 is attached. In the machining tool 5 facing area of Haltevoriichtung 3, the annular cover member 9 is attached. These two cover parts 8 and 9 together form the covering device 6 and are connected to one another by the connecting bolts 18.
Jn. 2, it can be seen that the retaining projection 3 is widely formed and has an outer ring 13 which is rotatable about the vertical axis and an inner ring 12 rotatable about a preferably horizontal axis and which can be rubbed by the drive device 20 a. It can also be seen from this FIG. 2 that the second cover part 9 has a drip pan 10. In addition, in this second cover part 9, an air suction opening 19 is formed. At the processing tool 5, a feeder 14 is indicated by a dashed line for a liquid. In the area of the spindle of the machining tool 5, the liquid is sprayed in the direction of the machining area B. in Fig. 3, this processing area B is indicated and is essentially limited by the inner ring 12. In this processing area B of Fig. 3 indicated by dashed lines Formrohilng 4 is clamped by a Haltepiatte, not shown on the fasteners 27. In the lower right area of the second cover part 9 on the one hand, the nozzle 22 for the air extraction and the drain hose 21 from the drip pan 10 is attached. The second cover part 9 is fastened on the outer ring 13 via the fastening elements 30, preferably 14/02/2012 11:19
No .: R944 P.010 / 022 14/02/2012 11:09 + 43-512-583408 TORGGLER & HQFINGER p. 11/22 6 bolted. By contrast, the first cover part 8 is connected directly to the second cover part 9 via the connecting bolts 18, preferably screwed.
In section A-A, the first cover part 8 of the covering device 6 can be seen between the fastening region B and the carrier element 7. This bowl-shaped first cover part 8, together with the outer ring 13, surrounds the entire side of the machining area B facing away from the machining tool 5. The machining area B is partially surrounded by the annular second cover part 9 in the direction of the machining tool 5. Since only very little liquid splashes back in the direction of the machining tool 5 due to experiments, the covering device 6 can have an opening 11. The entire collected in the rear and in the front area water flows towards drip pan 10 together. However, according to section A-A, the drip pan 10 is still protected by an apron 23. This fender 23 is only appropriate when the mold blank 4 is "dry" processed to prevent dusting of the drain hose 21. If this mudguard 23 is removed, water flowing together can be dissipated unhindered into the drip pan 10 and further through the drain hose 21. On the second cover part 9, a cap 29 is fastened, which has a brush-shaped protective element 25 and a discharge slope 26. The outer ring 13 is rotatably supported on the carrier element 7 via the rotary joint 24.
When retooling from a "dry" Processing device 1 to a "wet" processing device 1, the distances between the individual components must be considered. Especially between the inner ring 13 and the support member 7 is in the remote from the machining tool 5 region of the mounting area B given a very small distance, so that there is not enough space between a relatively thick and rigid formation of the first Abdeckteüs 8 remains {see section A-A). In order to still allow such conversion, a tear-resistant elastic member 28 (e.g., a cloth or a plastic sheet) is mounted in this first cover member. In FIG. 4, this first cover part 8 together with the elastic element 28 is shown. It is also the shell shape of this first cover 8 can be seen. 14/02/2012 11:19

FIG. 5 shows a 3D view of the second cover part 9 with the opening 11, the brush-shaped protective element 25 and the air suction opening 19. In this case, the drip pan 10 is covered by the mudguard 23
In contrast, in Fig. 6, the fender 23 is shown or removed only by dashed lines, whereby the drip pan 10 is open. In the case of the possible "wet" use of the processing device 1, the air suction opening 19 should be closed by a lid not illustrated here.
In Fig. 7 is again the carrier element 7 together with discharge hose 21, collecting tray 10 and attachment 29 can be seen. In principle, each cover part 8 or 9 may be one or more parts.
