The pipe lifting device 1 will be explained with reference to an embodiment. It consists of a base 4 as shown in Fig. 11. This is achieved by means of a support 8 e.g. the company Doka braced against the ceiling 29.
On the base 4, a column holder is attached. At this column holder, the lowermost segment 7 of the column 3 is fastened by means of screwing. The two further column segments 5, 6 and the fork carriage, as shown in FIGS. 8-10, are guided into one another by means of roller bearings. These are in turn guided, lifted and lowered by means of cable pull mechanism and a winch 28. For uniform loading of the uppermost column segment, the pivoting unit 24 of the fork carriage 9 is responsible. This is done by means of eight rollers 21. On the front side of the fork carriage 9, the bearing blocks 22,23 are welded. In the upper bearing blocks, the bolts 27 are fixed welded. In the lower bearing blocks, the bolts 26 are equipped with quick-release mechanisms. They are responsible for the simple attachment of the entire fork 2.
On a cross member 15 two hooks 10 are welded. These hooks 10 are hooked into the bolts at the top and fixed at the bottom. On the cross member 15, the rear support 14 are fixed welded. The extract is limited by means of pull-out stopper 18 and pull-out stop plate 17. At the two front supports a rotatable pipe support 11 is attached. This consists of a part which is firmly welded to the two front supports. Then another part is rotatably mounted by means of a screw.
On this rotatable part two safety straps (not shown in the drawings) for fixing a tube 30 are attached.
The attachment of the support 8 makes it possible to bring the tube into a horizontal position which projects beyond the length L2 of the undercarriage 4. The tube can be pushed forward to a length LI. Without the support 8, the tube could only be brought to the front end of the undercarriage, if exceeded, the lifting device would tip over. After attachment of the support 8, the tube 30 can be placed on the pipe support 11 and secured by straps. By operating the winch 28, the tube is lifted to the desired height. Then brings the fitter by pushing out the fork 2, the tube 30 in the desired horizontal position. As a result, the tube 30 can be lifted over obstacles. Since the base 4 can not always be fixed in the exact position of the pipe axis, the installer has the opportunity to bring it by means of the rotatable pipe support in the required pipe position.
In order to facilitate transport, the lifting device can be dismantled into the three main components as shown in FIG. Thus, it can be transported by means of a lift truck.
