The applicant's EP 0 664 982 B1 describes a connection fitting for fastening a drawer rear wall to a drawer side wall designed as a hollow profile. The drawer side wall is made of a wood material or also of an extruded plastic and can be fixed via the connection fitting relative to the drawer side wall. The drawer rear wall can be cut to the desired length and connected via the connection fitting in a quick assembly. The connecting fitting in this case has a housing-like portion, in whose side wall holes are provided, which are provided for receiving arranged on the drawer side wall mounting pins. This connection fitting has proven very successful in practice, however, the connection fitting must be bent several times during manufacture and requires a relatively large space in mounting position. Object of the present invention is therefore to provide a drawer of the type mentioned above while avoiding the above-mentioned disadvantages. This is achieved by the features of claim 1. Further embodiments are specified in the subclaims. • »*« · · · I 2 According to the invention it is thus provided that the drawer side wall has a recess for receiving the fitting part, wherein the drawer wall protrudes into the recess of the drawer side wall with that end face which has the fitting part. In other words, a compact fitting part is provided, which is arranged in the recess of the drawer side wall and thereby communicates with both the drawer side wall and with the drawer wall, wherein an end portion of the drawer wall also projects into the recess of the drawer side wall. Thus, the fitting part can be completely accommodated in the assembled state within the recess, so that the front side of the drawer wall is within the wall thickness of the drawer side wall. The drawer wall can rest directly on the drawer side wall, the fitting part being invisible in the installed state from the inside of the drawer. The drawer side wall may have in the region of the recess holding elements for receiving the fitting part, wherein the fitting part is to be fixed positively and / or non-positively relative to the drawer side wall. The fitting part may for this purpose have a fastening web with recesses, which are provided for receiving the arranged on the drawer side wall holding elements. The recesses of the fitting part are arranged so that they can be engaged behind by the holding elements of the drawer side wall. According to one embodiment, it can be provided that the holding elements are designed as latching elements, which can be snapped into the recesses of the fastening web. Likewise, the drawer wall may be formed as a front wall or front panel of a drawer, which is to be connected to the front end of the drawer side wall. The retaining elements for fastening the front wall would in this case be arranged at a front end region of the drawer side wall. The drawer wall may consist of a wood material or alternatively be made as metal or plastic, wherein the drawer wall made of metal or plastic may be formed integrally with the fitting part. The set according to the invention has a drawer side wall and a drawer wall, wherein the drawer wall is to be connected to the drawer side wall via a fitting part of the type in question. The furniture according to the invention has at least one drawer of the type described. FIG. 4a shows the fitting part 14 fastened to the end face of the drawer rear wall 11a, the height of which corresponds essentially to the height of the drawer rear wall 11a. The fitting part 14 has at least one (or more) recesses 16, which are provided for receiving arranged on the drawer side wall 10 holding elements 20. The recesses 16 are arranged at a distance from the end face of the drawer rear wall 11, which in the embodiment shown is made possible by spacer webs 18 of the fitting part 14, which project from the fastening web 21 of the fitting part 14 at right angles and bear against the end face of the drawer rear wall 11. 4b shows the rear side of the drawer rear wall 11a in a perspective view, wherein the fastening points 19 for fixing the drawer rear wall 19 can be seen. The attachment points 19 are arranged on lugs of the fitting part 14, which project from the fastening web 21 at right angles and rest against the back of the drawer rear wall 11a. The arrangement of the tabs on which the fastening points 19 are formed, however, can be omitted, it would also be possible to screw one or more screws from the vertical fastening web 21 of the fitting part 14 in the end face of the drawer rear wall 11 a. In addition, it would be possible for the spacing webs 18 of the fitting part 14 to embrace the drawer rear wall 11a, so that the cut edges of the drawer rear wall 11a are concealed. In this way, the cut edges of the drawer rear wall 11a are invisible from the outside, whereby a precise processing of these cutting edges can be dispensed with. 5 shows the fitting part 14 in a perspective view, wherein the drawer rear wall 11a is accommodated within the L-profile of the fitting part 14. Through the attachment points 19 screws can be passed, which are screwed during assembly in the back of the drawer rear wall 11a. Visible are the recesses 16 formed on the fastening web 21 for receiving the holding elements 20 mounted on the drawer side wall 10. The spacer webs 18 bent from the front side of the fitting part 14 serve to space the recesses 16 towards the front side of the drawer rear wall 11a, so that the recesses 16 of the holding elements 20 the drawer side wall 10 can be reliably engaged behind. The fitting 14 is integrally formed and preferably made of metal. Fig. 6a shows the rear end region of the drawer 3 in a perspective view from behind. Visible is the drawer pull-out guide 4 with the middle rail 6 and the drawer rail 7, which is connected to the drawer 3. The drawer rear wall 11a is connected via the fitting part 14 with the drawer side wall 10 in connection, wherein the end face of the drawer rear wall 11a projects into the wall thickness of the drawer side wall 10. Fig. 6b shows the construction according to Fig. 6a in a sectional view. The drawer side wall 10 has in the rear end region retaining elements 20 which are received in the recesses 16 of the fitting part 14. The holding elements 20 are preferably designed as latching elements which can be snapped into the recesses 16 of the fitting part 14. The holding elements 20 may be formed, for example, as elastically deformable latching projections, whereby the pre-assembled on the drawer rear wall 11 a fitting part 14 without tools on the holding elements 20 can be latched. The holding elements 20 are hook-shaped in the figure shown, so that they are inserted into the recesses 16 of the fitting part and secured against retraction. This vertically extending fastening web 21 is completely accommodated in the mounted state within the recess 15 (FIG. 3) of the sliding side wall 10 and lies completely within the wall thickness of the drawer side wall 10.
