The present invention relates to a forceps element with a base cutting edge.
For example, two such pliers elements can be pivotally hinged to a connecting element and form a gripping element for handling activities. Alternatively, however, such a forceps element can also be used individually.
In particular, the present invention relates to pliers elements for a wooden pliers. Depending on the application, wooden tongs have very different requirements for the cutting edge and shape of the tongs. For some applications, one reel cutting edge is advantageous, for others, a fixed shaft or, especially for wheel loaders, a blade with a submerged blade. So far, therefore, a complete pair of pliers with a corresponding cutting edge is used for each purpose. In addition, the design and manufacture of known pliers elements is relatively expensive.
Object of the present invention is to provide a pliers element available, which is easy to manufacture and allows a more flexible use of the pliers.
According to the invention this object is achieved by a forceps element according to claim 1. Advantageous embodiments of the present invention are the subject of the dependent claims.
The pliers element according to the invention in this case has a base blade, wherein according to the invention for changing the cutting edge shape of the base cutting different main cutting edges are releasably fastened.

FIG. 1 shows an exemplary embodiment of a wooden pliers, in which pliers elements 1 according to the invention are used. In the exemplary embodiment, the forceps elements 1 have a pivot axis 2, via which they are articulated to a connecting element 3. The opening and closing of the gripper formed in this way takes place via hydraulic cylinders 4, which are articulated via pivot axes 10 on the pliers elements 1 and on the connecting element 3.
The pliers also have a rotary drive 5, via which they can be aligned. Furthermore, a pivotable suspension 6 is provided, via which the pliers can be attached to a gripping arm. In the embodiment, a free storage is provided, which is designed in the embodiment as kar-danische suspension.
An inventive pliers element has in the exemplary embodiment two curved side regions 7, which define a receiving surface. In this case, a recess may be provided between the side regions 7 or a receiving base 11 which connects the side parts 7.
The forceps element 1 ends in a cutting region with the base cutting edge 9. The base cutting edge 9 is arranged on a plate-like cutting element 8, which defines a nipper surface.
According to the invention, different cutting edges can now be interchangeably attached to the base cutting edge 9. The pliers element itself thus represents a basic variant, which can be equipped for customer use by simply retrofitting the desired main cutting edge. In addition, the main cutting edge can also be changed during use.
The basic cutting edge 9, to which different main cutting edges can be fastened, is shown only schematically in FIG. 1 and will now be explained in more detail with reference to the exemplary embodiment of a forceps element according to the invention shown in FIGS. 2 to 7.

At the front edge of the forceps element 8, the basic cutting edge 9 according to the invention is arranged. At this base blade 9, the four different main cutting edges 12 to 15 shown in Figure 2 can be releasably attached. The attachment is done by screwing.
The four main cutting edges shown in FIG. 2 are a roller blade 12, a shaft cutting edge 13, a main cutting edge with cutting edge 14 and a blade with a sub-blade blade. Of course, according to the invention, however, only two or three of these different main cutting edges can be used. The construction of the cutting element or of the base cutting edge and of the individual main cutting edges will now be described in more detail with reference to FIGS. 4 to 7:
FIG. 4 shows the use of the forceps element according to the invention with a roller blade as the main cutting edge. The roller blade consists of an axis 17, on which rollers 18 are rotatably arranged. The axis 17 is screwed in the areas between the rollers 18 with the base blade.

The base cutting edge in turn has corresponding bores on its side facing the main cutting edge, which bores extend into the cutting surface of the cutting element 8. The forceps elements of the invention can be used in particular for forceps sizes with a gripping area between 1m2 and 5m2. Particularly advantageously, the pliers elements come as parts of wood tongs used.
