description
HOLDING DEVICE WITH SUPPORT RAIL AND HOLDING ELEMENT FOR THE SUPPORT RAIL The invention relates to a holding device with a support rail which is provided for installation in an installation opening and a holding element for holding the support rail in the installation opening.
From the prior art, it is known to install a mounting rail for a trunking system in a, formed by suspended ceiling elements installation opening as follows: First, U-shaped bracket, the installation opening is attached to the top of the ceiling elements. For this purpose, screws are screwed from the room side through the ceiling elements, which after passing through the ceiling elements engage in flange-like support areas of the bracket and fix the latter to the ceiling elements in this way. In a further step, the mounting rail is then inserted into the installation opening and fastened to the mounting brackets.
However, this procedure is comparatively labor-intensive. In particular, it is generally desirable that after the screws for fixing the retaining brackets have been attached, the screws are first filled in on the room side and the corresponding ceiling area is painted with paint before the mounting rail is connected to the retaining brackets.
The invention has for its object to provide a corresponding improved holding device. In particular, the holding device should enable easier assembly.
This object is achieved according to the invention with the subject matter mentioned in the independent claim. Particular embodiments of the invention are specified in the dependent claims.
According to the invention, a holding device is provided which has a, extending along a longitudinal axis mounting rail in the form of a lamp component or in the form of a holding part for a lamp, the mounting rail being provided for installation in an installation opening, which in a suspended ceiling is formed. A light exit opening is delimited by the mounting rail and points in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. Furthermore, the holding device has a holding element for holding the mounting rail in the installation opening, as well as an engagement element, the design being such that a movement of the mounting element relative to the mounting rail - starting from an assembly position - by rotation and a subsequent translation movement in the direction is moved to a holding position for holding the mounting rail in the installation opening.
This makes it possible to fix the retaining element and the mounting rail in the course of one operation in the mounting opening when installing the mounting rail in the installation opening. In particular, it is not necessary to first carry out spatula and painting work after the holding element has been attached before the mounting rail can be attached to the holding element.
Preferably, the holding device further comprises a spring element, which is arranged between the mounting rail on the one hand and the holding element on the other hand. As a result, the holding element can be positioned particularly suitably relative to the mounting rail for installation in the installation opening.
Preferably, the design is such that the spring element is increasingly tensioned by the movement of the engagement element during the translational movement of the holding element. In this way, the translation movement can be carried out in a particularly suitable manner.
Preferably, the mounting rail has a through opening, the An1 / 16
AT 15 688 U1 2018-04-15 Austrian patent office handle element is arranged to penetrate the through opening. The attack element can thus be handled or manipulated particularly suitably from the side of the light exit opening.
Preferably, the through opening is a, extending parallel to the longitudinal axis elongated hole. In this way, the engagement element and with this the holding element - with respect to the longitudinal axis - can be attached to the mounting rail at different points.
[0012] The engagement element is preferably a screw with a screw head. As a result, the engagement element can be moved in a particularly suitable manner, for example with the aid of a screwdriver.
Preferably, the holding device further comprises a slotted disk, which secures the screw head from passing through the through opening. This makes it particularly easy to connect the screw to the mounting rail.
Preferably, the holding element has a recess with an internal thread, the screw being arranged engaging in the internal thread of the recess. In particular, this allows the holding element to be rotated in a manner that is particularly easy to handle.
Preferably, the holding element has a base area and two, from the base area extending foot areas, which are located with respect to the mounting rail on two opposite sides when the holding element is in the holding position. A particularly suitable mounting of the mounting rail in relation to the ceiling can be achieved by the foot areas.
When viewed in the direction, the holding element is preferably designed to be trapezoidal. In this way, it can be achieved in a particularly suitable manner that - viewed along the longitudinal axis - the holding element in the assembly position practically does not extend, or at most only slightly, laterally beyond that of the mounting rail. The mounting rail can be inserted particularly easily into the installation opening when the holding element is in the mounting position.
The invention is explained below using an exemplary embodiment and with reference to the drawings. Show it:
Fig. 1 is a perspective sketch of an area of a holding device according to the invention, wherein an end portion of a mounting rail is shown and a holding element attached to the mounting rail, the holding element being in the holding position.

Patent Office [0026] Fig. 9 is a perspective sketch of the separated slotted disc.
1 shows a perspective sketch around a region of a holding device according to the invention. The holding device has a support rail 3, which extends along a longitudinal axis L, in the form of a holding part for a lamp. For example, this can be a mounting rail of a continuous row system. In general, however, the mounting rail 3 can also be a luminaire component as such, for example a luminaire housing.
Fig. 2 shows a cross-sectional sketch normal to the longitudinal axis L. The mounting rail 3 is provided for installation in an installation opening 1, which is formed in a suspended ceiling 2. The ceiling 2 can comprise, for example, plate-like ceiling elements 21 which delimit the installation opening 1, the ceiling elements 21 each having an upwardly facing surface area 22 and a downwardly facing surface area 23.
The mounting rail 3 defines a light exit opening 4 which points in a direction R perpendicular to the longitudinal axis L. In the example shown, the light exit opening 4 points downwards, so that the direction R here points vertically downwards, that is, with reference to the installation opening 1 to a room side. In particular, provision can therefore be made for the holding device to emit light through the light exit opening 4 into the lower half-space or towards the room side.
Furthermore, the holding device comprises a holding element 5 for holding the mounting rail 3 in the installation opening 1.
Furthermore, the holding device comprises an engagement element 6, the design being such that a movement of the engagement element 6, the holding element 5 relative to the mounting rail 3 - starting from an assembly position - by rotation and a subsequent translation movement in the direction R in one Holding position for holding the mounting rail 3 is displaced in the installation opening 1.
In the example shown, the design is such that the mounting rail 3 can be introduced with the holding element 5 from the room side into the installation opening 1 when the holding element 5 is in the mounting position. 2, the holding element 5 is shown in the assembly position. If the mounting rail 3 is in the installation opening 1 as provided and the holding element 5 is in the holding position, the mounting rail 3 is held by the holding element 5, in particular in that the holding element 5 rests on surface areas of the ceiling 2 from above, for example on the upward-facing surface areas 22 of the ceiling elements 21. In FIG. 1, the holding element 5 is sketched in the holding position, but here without the ceiling 2.
In general, it can be provided that the holding device has at least two holding elements, which are located with respect to the longitudinal axis at different longitudinal positions on the mounting rail 3, the design of these holding elements and their connections to the mounting rail 3 analogous to the design of the Holding element 5 described here is. Therefore, this description is limited to only one such holding element. If at least two corresponding holding elements are provided, each of the holding elements must accordingly be in the mounting position if the mounting rail 3 is to be inserted into the installation opening 1 from the room side.
The support rail 3 can in particular be designed as a profile part which has a U-shaped cross section in a first approximation, so that a first U-leg 32, a second US leg 33 and one, the two U-legs 32, 33 connecting each other Connecting leg 34 are formed. The light exit opening 4 is limited by the free end regions of the two U-legs 32, 33. A carrier rail interior 35 is formed between the two U-legs 32, 33 and is provided, for example, for receiving a lamp.
Preferably at the two free end regions of the U-legs 32, 33 - with

With respect to the U-shape - outward-facing flanges 31 are formed, for example formed on, which are designed to be brought into contact with the ceiling 2 from below, for example against the downward-facing surface areas, when the mounting rail 3 is installed in the installation opening 1 from below 23 of the ceiling elements 21.
Accordingly, the design is preferably such that - when viewing the support rail 3 in the direction R, as from above, the holding element 5 does not extend on both longitudinal sides beyond the flanges 31 when the holding element 5 is in the mounting position. For example, the design can be such that a distance d is formed on each side between the outer edges of the flanges 31 and the holding element 5, which distance is between 5% and 40%, preferably 10% and 30% of the width B of the mounting rail 3 Height of the free end regions of the two U-legs 32, 33, without the flanges 31.
As is the case in the example shown, it can be provided particularly advantageously that the two U-legs 32, 33 taper upwards, for example, by a step 39, so that the holding element 5 is viewed in the R position in the mounting position completely within the two free end regions of the two U-legs 32, 33.
FIG. 3 shows a cross-sectional sketch corresponding to FIG. 2 with a somewhat different form of representation. A lamp 40 is shown here by way of example, which is arranged in the mounting rail 3, in particular in the mounting rail interior 35. For example, the light fixture 40 can be connected to the mounting rail 3 via a snap-in connection.
In the example shown, the engagement element is a screw 6 with a screw head 9. The holding element 5 has a recess 11 with an internal thread, in which the screw 6 is arranged to engage. The mounting rail 3, for example in the region of the connecting leg 34, has a through opening 8, the screw 6 being arranged to penetrate the through opening 8. The screw head 9 preferably points in the direction R so that the screw 6 can be rotated from the interior of the mounting rail 35, that is to say, for example, with the aid of a screwdriver through the light exit opening 4; the screw 6 can be actuated in particular when the mounting rail 3 is installed.
With this design it can be achieved that the holding element 5 - starting from the assembly position - can be rotated by rotating the screw 6 so that it extends laterally beyond the two flanges 31 after the rotation. The rotation of the screw 6 is transmitted to the holding element 5 by friction between the screw 6 and the holding element 5. Thus, in this embodiment, the holding element 5 is rotated about an axis of rotation which coincides with the longitudinal axis of the screw 6.
As sketched by way of example in FIG. 1, the holding element 5 preferably has a base region 12 and two foot regions 13, which extend from the base region 12 and are located on two opposite sides with respect to the mounting rail 3, if that Holding element 4 is in the holding position. The base region 12 is preferably designed in the form of a plate, at least in a first approximation, and the two foot regions 13 preferably extend from the base region 12 in the direction R or downwards. FIGS. 7 and 8 show two perspective sketches of the holding element 5 in a form separated from the mounting rail 3.
At least one of the foot areas 13 preferably has a particularly edge-shaped edge area 131, the design preferably being such that the rotation of the holding element 5 mentioned is limited by the fact that the edge area 131 abuts against an outside of the U-legs 32, 33 arrives.
After rotation of the holding element 5 can be set by a further rotation of the screw 6, the holding element 5 in a translation movement in the direction R, so that - in the installed state - the foot areas 13 finally come into contact with the ceiling 2 from above , In this state, the holding element 5 is in the holding position. In

Patent office of the holding position, the mounting rail 3 is arranged held by the holding element 5 in the installation opening 1. In particular, it can be provided that the ceiling 2 or the ceiling elements 21 are clamped by the foot regions 13 on the one hand and the flanges 31 on the other hand in the holding position of the holding element 5, so that the support element 3 is securely positioned.
The holding element 5 is preferably trapezoidal in the direction R or viewed from above. 4 shows the holding element 5, separated from the mounting rail 3, viewed in the direction R, the longitudinal axis L being additionally indicated here by an arrow. The trapezoidal shape of the holding element 5 can be seen, which here is at least essentially formed by the shape of the base region 12. Fig. 4 shows the holding element 5 in the mounting position. A corresponding sketch is shown in FIG. 5, which shows the holding element 5 in the holding position after rotation and translational movement. The origins of the foot areas 13 and the corresponding edge areas 131 can also be seen in FIGS. 4 and 5. FIG. 6 shows a sketch corresponding to FIG. 5, but with a surrounding area of the mounting rail 3. The rotary movement of the holding element 5 is indicated by three arrows indicated from the mounting position. 6 that the edge area 131 of the foot areas 13 bears against an outer surface of the two U-legs 32, 33, which prevents further rotation of the holding element 5. It can also be seen that in the holding position the two foot regions 13 of the holding element 5 extend laterally beyond the two flanges 31, so that a suitable contact with the ceiling 2 is made possible.
Preferably, the two foot regions 13 of the holding element 5 are designed in a plate-like manner and, for example, each connected to the base region 12 via a bending edge 121. The two foot regions 13 are advantageously arranged in a space-saving manner in the mounting position of the holding element 5 parallel to the two U-legs 32, 33, in particular in contact with the outer sides of the two U-legs 32, 33. If, as in the example shown, the case , the two foot regions 13 are designed symmetrically to one another so that two corresponding edge regions 131 are formed, the edge regions 131 - as indicated in FIG. 4 - must be spaced apart from one another along the longitudinal axis L by a longitudinal distance Δ so that the rotation of the holding element 5 is made possible from the mounting position. Therefore, the aforementioned trapezoidal shape of the holding element 5 is advantageous with regard to an overall space-saving design.
In particular, it is advantageous if the longitudinal distance Δ is approximately as large as the transverse distance A of the two foot regions 13, which is at right angles thereto, since in this case a suitably wide rotation of the holding element 5 is made possible. For example, it can be provided that the longitudinal distance Δ and the transverse distance A differ from one another by less than 15%. For example, the design can be such that an angle of 90 ° ± 10 ° results for the rotation of the holding element 5.
Preferably, the holding device further has a spring element 7, for example in the form of a compression spring, which is arranged acting between the mounting rail 3 on the one hand and the holding element 5 on the other hand. By means of the spring element 7, the holding element 5 is pressed with respect to the support rail 3 against the direction R or upwards, so that when the screw 6 rotates, the screw head 9 is held at one level with respect to the support rail 3. The spring element 7 is increasingly tensioned by the movement of the engagement element, in this case the rotation of the screw 6 during the translational movement of the holding element 5. A particularly guided movement of the holding element 5 relative to the mounting rail 3 can be brought about by the spring element 7.
As shown by way of example in FIG. 3, the holding device preferably also has a slotted disk 10 which secures the screw head 9 from passing through the through opening 8. In Fig. 9, the slotted disc 10 is outlined in perspective. The feed-through opening 8 is preferably of a size such that the screw head 9 can be inserted as such, that is to say without the slotted disk 10. So can be connected to the holding element 5 for connecting the holding element 5 to the mounting rail 3

Insert the screw 6 with its screw head 9 coming from above in the direction R through the through opening 8 and then secure it with the help of the slotted disk 10 against renewed passage through the through opening 8 against the direction R. The screw head 9 is held pressed upwards against the slotted disk 10 by the spring element 7. Thus, the holding element 5 is particularly suitably connected to the mounting rail 3 for an assembly or installation process.
Preferably, the through opening 8 is formed as an elongated hole extending parallel to the longitudinal axis L. In this way, the holding element 5 can be easily connected to the mounting rail 3 at different longitudinal positions.
As shown in FIG. 7, for example, claw-like earthing lugs 71 are preferably formed on the spring element 7, which are provided for establishing a secure electrical connection with the mounting rail 3 or the connecting leg 34 of the mounting rail 3.
As indicated in Fig. 3, the holding device is not only suitable for holding the mounting rail 3 on plate-like ceiling elements 21, but also, for example, on a support element 2 'of a cassette ceiling. Such support elements 2 'typically have a greater vertical extent than corresponding plate-like ceiling elements 21. A typical height of a corresponding support element 2' is between 32 and 45 mm, the typical thickness of a plate-like ceiling element 21, for example in the form of a plasterboard, is approximately between 12 and 25 mm.
In particular, it can be provided that the foot regions 13 of the holding element 5 are adapted to their length. For example, a plurality of corresponding holding elements 5 can be provided, the base regions 13, 13 'of which differ in length accordingly. For reasons of illustration, no foot area 13 is shown in FIG. 3 on the right side.
