This ensures that the properly assembled side wall immediately after joining the adjacent metal profiles without additional funds has an inherent strength and thus an immediate structural strength. The metal profiles are joined together by pivoting about a profile longitudinal axis by joining the articulated joint of the joint socket and condyle and then pivoted into a common side wall level, wherein the opposing side wall surface associated edge legs of the metal profiles come to a stop. By this arrangement, the mutual movement between adjacent metal profiles is significantly reduced with dynamic and irregular load. Furthermore, it is proposed that the guide approach covers the contact gap between the guide neck and condyle to form a shadow gap with a protruding nose against the edge web.
