PALETTE
The invention relates to a pallet with at least two parallel, extending in a transverse direction and connected to a ground support crossbars and with a plurality of extending in a longitudinal direction, forming a bearing support rods.
For the transport and storage of goods, the range has generally prevailed. Their advantage consists on the one hand in the fact that they can be used as exchange pallets and common subsidies can be used, on the other hand, that their structural design is relatively simple.
The pallets made of wood have the disadvantage that they have only a very short life when used in establishments where they are exposed to high humidity, for example in breweries, and in some cases must be replaced after two uses.
There are therefore already made of sheet metal pallets. These pallets are usually manufactured in their appearance and design based on wooden pallets. As a result, they often have a high weight. This also applies, for example, to the pallets described in US Pat. No. 2,306,752 A or in EP 0 015 576 A1.
These pallets consist of corrugated folded sheets. They are made from only one sheet metal blank, whose ends are folded into box-like hollow bodies. The hollow bodies thus also form the side walls of the pallets.
In addition, a sheet pallet has been proposed, which consists of corrugated metal strips same shaft cross-section, in which the outer end portions of the side walls are bent to triangular hollow sections and firmly connected at their ends to the side walls.
A plate pallet known from EP 0 596 146 A1 consists of corrugated rails and supporting hollow bodies which are the same in cross-sectional shape in each case. The outer edges of the rails are formed in conical closed cross-section and firmly connected hollow bodies, wherein the support hollow body are formed approximately cuboid and at two upper opposite edges of their side walls and at two lower opposite edges of the right angle arranged side walls recesses corresponding to the cross section of the rails so that they are positively, centering adapted to the support hollow body, so as to increase the strength and reduce the bending stress.
A disadvantage of the previously known pallets proves the low suitability for use in automated manufacturing, because they often do not allow a clear positioning of the metal plates resting thereon in relation to a manufacturing station.
The invention has for its object to provide a suitable range for automated production. This object is achieved with a pallet according to the features of claim 1. The further embodiment of the invention can be found in the dependent claims.
According to the invention, therefore, a pallet is provided, in which the support rods and the transverse struts are constructed of metal profiles and which are equipped with the ground support, transversely extending crossbars with respect to a front end region of the longitudinally oriented support rods are arranged with an offset, in such that the distance between the outer, so the end portions facing transverse beams does not exceed the main dimensions of small-sized metal plates and that the transverse bars in the transverse direction laterally opposite the outer support bars and also perpendicular to the plane of the support rods certain support level project, so another range with in Substantially identical transverse bars assume a predetermined relative position one above the other both in the longitudinal direction and in the transverse direction. As a result, the pallet according to the invention can also be used in a particularly promising manner for automated production. For this purpose, the support rods are cantilevered on the transverse bars in their end-side end regions in the longitudinal direction, that is arranged with considerable overhang relative to the transverse bars on these. In addition, adjacent support rods are not connected to each other, at least in the end-side end region. As a result, according to the invention, it is possible for the first time to introduce a machine stop between the support rods, so that the pallet can be arranged relative to the machining device so that the metal boards arranged on the pallet can be applied against the machine stop regardless of their dimensions. In addition, the sheet metal blanks are not acted upon in a stacking position with the weight of the overlying pallets, because the pallets are supported directly by means of the profile body each other. Furthermore, the profiled elements that protrude from the supporting surface enable a further, alternative stacking position with a reduced overall height, in order to further optimize the handling of empty pallets.
Furthermore, the upwardly projecting profile body prove to be particularly practical, by allowing a fast and reliable centering of resting on pallets. For this purpose, the profile body are equipped with centering aids that allow automatic centering in the longitudinal and transverse directions parallel to the support plane. The centering takes place on the one hand by recesses with inclined surfaces, which include a cross member of a pallet resting thereon on both sides and allow by the inclination of the inclined surface when lowering on the underlying pallet an automatic correction of the relative position of the pallets. In addition, the cross member is provided on its side opposite the support rods protruding end face with an inclined surface which allows a correction of the position in the direction of the main extension of the cross member, ie in the transverse direction of the pallet, relative to the underlying pallet during the lowering.
It is of great advantage that the load of the upper range is not transferred to the resting on the underlying pallet metal plates or other cargo, but rather, bypassing the load is introduced directly into the crossbars of the underlying pallet. As a result, the stackability of loaded pallets is substantially improved or made possible in the first place, with the pallet according to the invention also being suitable for sensitive goods in an optimum manner.
In addition, it has already proven to be particularly successful if the load is not or not only transmitted by means of the centering on the lower pallet, but by an additional load-receiving element which is fixed to the cross member and forms a bearing surface, which when lowering the upper pallet and the relative orientation or positioning by means of the centering the load between the superposed pallets absorbs a significant proportion. This significantly relieves the centering aid.
By laterally projecting up centering the largest height of the pallet corresponds to the height of the centering perpendicular to the support plane. By stacking, the total height of the pallet stack results in each case at a multiple of the height of a single pallet. However, since the pallets can also be stacked on one another with an offset in the longitudinal direction of the pallets, the fixing aids of stacked pallets are offset relative to one another so that the transverse bars of the upper pallet do not rest on the profiled bodies but on the support bars of the lower pallet. Thus, the total height of a pallet stack of unloaded pallets can be substantially reduced and thus substantially reduce the required transport volume of the pallets used in the reusable system.
Furthermore, it has proven to be particularly helpful if the support rods recordings for releasably fixing of stop elements, so as to avoid slipping flat cargo, especially in metal blanks whose dimensions in the main plane are substantially less than that of the pallet. The recordings are distributed in pairs in such a way
Support bars arranged that the metal plates can be at least approximately centered on the pallet so as to avoid an undesirable unequal load distribution during transport of the pallet. These recordings may, for example, be designed as bores, so that the stop elements can be inserted through a bolt-shaped section into the receptacle. Such locking pins can be secured, for example, by a rotation in the recording against loss by an undercut, for example, a radial shape in the recording undercut positionable.
The stop elements can be stored when not in use in a recording, which is mounted in particular between adjacent support bars and does not affect the height. For example, this is a magazine holder, so as to prevent accidental loss of the stop elements.
The invention allows for various embodiments. To further clarify its basic principle, one of them is shown in the drawing and will be described below. 1 shows a perspective view of a pallet according to the invention with lateral profiled bodies; Fig. 2 shows two identical, stacked by means of the profile body pallets; FIG. 3 is an enlarged detailed view of the profile body according to FIG. 1; FIG. Fig. 4 is a side view of the stacked pallets according to Fig. 2; FIG. 5 shows an alternative stacking position with a longitudinal offset in a perspective view; FIG. Fig. 6 shows the alternative stacking position shown in Figure 5 in a side view.
The pallet 1 according to the invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to FIGS 1 to 6. As can be seen in Figure 1, the pallet 1 has two parallel, extending in a transverse direction Y transverse bars 2, which are connected to a bottom rest, not shown. Four parallel support rods 3 extending in a longitudinal direction X are fixed on the transverse struts 2 and form a supporting surface as a support for a metal plate 4, which is shown only schematically. The support rods 3 and the cross members 2 each consist of metal profiles, wherein the support rods 3 protrude from the transverse bars 2. For this purpose, the transverse beams 2 are arranged opposite an end-side end region 5 of the support rods 3 with an offset V. As a result, the distance A of the two transverse beams 2 is smaller than the main dimensions L of the usual, even small-sized metal plates 4. The pallet 1 can thus be positioned on a likewise only suggestively illustrated machine stop 6, that it is arranged between the support rods 3 and so forms a direct stop for the metal plate 4.
To avoid unwanted displacement of the metal plate 4 on the support surface, the support rods 3 are provided with holes 7 for stop elements 8, which are stored here in a magazine holder 9 and are used only as needed.
For the stacking position shown in Figures 2 to 4 identical pallets 1, the transverse beams 2 are provided in the transverse direction Y with respect to the outer support rods 3 projecting profile bodies 10 which are oriented perpendicular to the plane of the wing upwards. An upper section of the profile body 10 in each case forms a centering aid 11 for a further pallet 1 of an overlying plane. The centering aid 11 serves to align stacked pallets 1 in a relative position, which is predetermined both in the longitudinal direction X and in the transverse direction Y, and to permit automatic centering of pallets 1 resting on one another.
For this purpose, the centering 11 has a receptacle 12 for a cross member 2 an overlying pallet 1, wherein the receptacle 12 are provided with a limited by oblique surfaces 13 in the longitudinal direction X recess 14, the transverse spar 2 a resting thereon
Include pallet 1 in the longitudinal direction X on both sides.
In contrast, the centering in the transverse direction Y by a bottom surface facing, inclined relative to the vertical inclined surface 15 of the transverse spar 2 of the upper pallet 1, with the upper pallet 1 on the profile body 10 of the lower pallet 1 is placed, wherein the profile body 10 of the lower pallet 1 with its outer edge region 16, the inclined surface 15 of the transverse spar 2 of the upper pallet 1 outside includes and thereby the Querzentrierung takes place.
Due to the defined distance of the stacked pallets 1, these can also be stacked in a loaded state, without burdening the load lying thereon, in particular so the metal plate 4.
In contrast, the pallet 1 of the invention offers yet another, alternative stacking option for empty pallets 1, as shown in Figures 5 and 6. By in this alternative stacking position not the profile body 10, but the cross members 2 of the upper pallet 1 on the support bars 3 of the underlying pallet 1 are superimposed, the total height is reduced significantly in this stacking position. In the longitudinal direction X, the pallets 1 each have an offset corresponding to the width of the profile body 10.
